Definitely one of the best bagels in the area. Cant say the same for their service. Sure the staff is great but wait times are absurd sometimes. Giving 4 stars because I waited for my order in line for 15 minutes even though I had placed the order ahead and it was sitting in the counter next to a Pick-ups here sign with no indication from the outside. Line was insane and customers were not letting others cut ahead to check in store. Had to reheat food at home.

Great delicious bagels! I like this location better than the one in Clifton. As a plus, they make their own bagels.Its more spacious and better ambiance. The only potential issue might be parking. I think its only street parking as I did not see any parking lots so if its busy, as it usually is, this might be a challenge but I think theres plenty of parking on the side streets.Service is great! It might be busy but the lines do move fast.Im glad to have this bagel place so close by.

This is my favorite bagel place in Bloomfield. The bagels are always fresh and tasty. They are so good that family in Pennsylvania looks forward to them when I visit.

Pumpkin bagel/cream cheese were so so good, and bagel was fresh out of the oven. There was a line of people out the door in the rain, well worth it!

Great bagels. I got a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was well toasted, but the cream cheese was a little soupy. The line was long, but the staff moved very quickly. I would love to go again!

There is so much to LOVE about this place! The bengals are the freshest in town, the egg sandwiches are cooked to order, delicious and affordable, and the owners are some of the nicest people in town! They are always giving to the community with things like a tree lighting with free hot chocolate and goodies in addition to running this gem. *If it is a nice day, grab a seat outside :)

I dont eat bagels any more, but they are made on the premises in wide variety. Consistently good place to get eggs for breakfast, Ive gone out of my way to go there more than a few times - good value for the price. I appreciate the fact that they observe social distancing, despite being a popular spot. They have outdoor seating.

I have been going to Hot Bagels Abroad for I dont know how long! They have a tremendous volume of customers, but the lines are always handled quickly. The staff is friendly and the store has always been an important part of their local community.I havent mentioned the bagels yet? They are top notched and come in a great variety including plain, my favorite, Black Russian, and at least a dozen more.HBA makes great breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches (with bagels), and has all the deli needs for a top notch home feast.Now Im hungry for a HBA bagel!

BEST BAGELS ON THE PLANET. I’ve been coming here since I was a toddler. Now I live out of state and always make sure to stop here when I’m in town to stock my freezer with the real deal. Great bagels with great service. Staff is friendly and attentive even when crowded, which is often. So happy that they dont just have vegan cream cheese, but they have several varieties. I think the scallion is my favorite. Flavored syrups for coffee, too. Great local stop.

I got a BLT today I ate it and threw up.. The bacon was burnt and the bagel was very hard..the sandwich was mushed together and it taste Pasty It was almost like the bagel was cooked on the outside but was still doe in middle🤮 .. My friend ordered the same thing and his was exactly the same way he Didn’t he even eat his sandwich smh.. unfortunately I was very hungry and continue to eat mine 20 min later I started throwing up!! Continuously .. I guess somebody got lazy behind the counter because I hear that they have good food 😳.... I’ll pass no star rating👎🏼 It sucks that I have to put one star

Hands down, the best bagel place in Bloomfield and, quite possible, all of Northern Jersey. The lines are long but move quick. The employees are a joy to engage and dont mind if you bust their chops about using aluminum foil. And the bagels are cooked to perfection. I highly recommend getting the everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. You wont be disappointed.

I went to go pick up my bagels and order this morning somehow someone taking the order had the incorrect name but I provided the phone number and what I ordered and they were still reluctant to give it to me. Normally it would be fine but they were reluctant and holding my food as it is a workday and my brother called to get it picked up not to be held hostage for Taylor ham and cheese. Very displeased with this place they actually have good food don’t think I’m coming back. And actually displeased with my order never get it right, Does this look like light butter

Ive been going to Bagels Abroad for 20 years. Its always been my go-to bagel spot, and without question has the best bagels in the area. I highly recommend their breakfast bagel sandwiches - sausage (or Taylor ham) with scrambled egg and cheese on your choice of bagel. Try it, you wont be disappointed!

We went on a busy Saturday, and when we got in there the lines were a little disheartening, but they were a well-oiled machine! The line was out the door, but we ordered and got our food within 5 minutes. Very cool that they offered dairy-free creem cheese as well.

Best bagel shop, hands down! Everything is cooked on an open flame which gives the meat great flavor.

Second best as far as bagels in the area but rarely if ever mess up my order which is for some reason so common at bagel shops around here, which i no longer go to as Hot Bagels Abroad seems to be the only place to carry tofu based creamcheese making keeping vegan so much better cause i can still enjoy a tasty bagel with creamcheese for breakfast :)

4/17/16:Nice bagel shop with helpful staff. I went on a Sunday morning and this shop is off a main road near an active park, so I caught the crowd. But my ham, egg, and cheese on a sesame seed bagel was really good so it worked out.
