I love JC Penny! Always have! But they could lower their prices.I mean they have a great selection of suits. Thats what I needed last time I went. However, it was for my 14 y/o son. I know hes going to outgrow it, but Pennys was the only place I knew of around here where I could buy a suit. So, I bought the jacket, slacks, a shirt, tie, and shoes. Mind you, all of this stuff was 60% off, but I still spent over $300. I cant even imagine if it hadnt been on sale.I live in a place where there are almost no stores. So, I have to travel to get any shopping done. The Mercer Mall is one of my favorite places to shop for clothes.

I use to love going to shop at JCPenney but recently going has not been a very pleasant experience. The store is hot. Employees are seemingly friendly, but they constantly hound you for a credit card. Even after you polity say you are not interested they keep asking. And what they don’t tell you about the credit card is how it hurts your credit, and has a high interest. They somehow talked my husband into it while he was shopping without me one day, and just applying brought his credit down by 3 points. They told him if he would apply he would get like 15% off even it he wasn’t approved, and when they went to apply that 15% they just pulled up the coupon that is on their website for everyone to use. I feel like this is information that should be shared with the costumer beforehand. Not to mention, their clothes for young adults are god awful. I can’t find one thing that isn’t a belly shirt. Probably won’t be returning here for a while. The store that was once the best place to shop in our area, has become a sad rundown store with sad looking employees, a poor selection, and a desperate cash grab from the ceos to get people to sign up for their credit card.

Not a large selection of goods. Standard bait and switch signage! At least it wasnt crowded!

Like most JCPenney stores or I should say department stores in general, its all the same now.... Hardly any customers in the store and hardly any employees...I did find something to buy as usual. Jcpenny is one of my favorite stores its so sad to see so many of them closing. They have good quality merchandise so now most of the time I just shop online.

The clerk was very nice

They have a wide variety of selections but I do wish they would get Levi short lengths in. I also bought a pair of petite A.N.As but theyre a little too short. I was hoping for a remodel and for Sephora to be added at some point but with the way the mall itself looks, it might be hoping for too much. The customer service is great if you catch the right person at the right time and when the fitting rooms were open, they were pretty spacious.

Their store was very clean and the employees were friendly enough. There wasnt much merchandise in the store. The racks and shelves were very sparsely stocked

Kind of expensive and usually the workers arent friendly unless Im dressed to the 9s when I go in. Ive noticed a huge difference in attitude based on the way a few times when I went in PJs and they treated me like I shouldnt be there. Definitely dress nice if you even want to pay for their overpriced stuff.

Sorely disappointed in the current selections/fashions in the womens departments (junior, ladies, and plus). JCP seems to be catering to the younger generation today and not to working professionals or church attire. Not every lady cares to wear ripped jeans or jeggings, especially with sequins or unicorns. The woman in the salon told my indecisive 15 year old son if I wouldve known youd be this much trouble then I wouldnt have accepted this [appointment] & complained about 15-minute appointments that she had been doing all day, as if we were inconvenient to other customers after us (that never showed), complained about being tired, & complained even more.Im sure it made my son feel rushed and like a inconvenient nuisance.. We went their for advice, but instead got disrespected. Severely.

I have no problem with their products, those are usually great, I was with my 4 month old son in his stroller, he was being fussy so I wanted to just ask what the price was on some cologne, I waited till the cashier was done with the older woman in front of me, when it was my turn, she literally ignored me and left to help a couple, I saw her walking all across the store with them, I waited for another 5 minutes, finally got fed up and just left.

Couldnt shop due to the heat and was really hot. Third time Ive been to this store recently and they were having the same problems with the AC.Another problem was they was out of stock of kids Levis and was short on a lot of Nike products in kids sizes. I was very disappointed because I use to like shopping at this store, they could have made three times more off of me but got out of there only spending a little over four hundred dollars when I was trying to spend at least twelve Hundred dollars on clothes for my kids school clothes.

Not the JC Penney of old. The store was cluttered and the selection poor. We had to look for a clerk to pay for our purchases. I dont the JC Penney will be around much longer if this is the norm for their stores.
