I did the drive up pickup for my order. Let the app know I was on my way, pulled into parking #6 and the associate was there with my items before I could even turn off my car. Great service.

We are so lucky to have a Walmart that has most of our needs every time we go in. Do you realize how difficult it is in other countries to have the same product choices as we have? Most of the Walmart employees at this store or great! Management makes it difficult on them, so many regs.

I like Walmart. This one has some employees that simply do not know what the store sells. More than once, I have had an employee tell me that they dont carry a particular item. Then I finally find either the item myself or an employee that can help. Had one tell me yesterday that they didnt sell toilet seats! For the record, they are on the wall behind the paint counter.

Nice store and so happy to get back to a walmart that isnt so crowded, the only issue I have is having to use self checkout because they never have more than 2 out of 15 open... I think that walmart should pay us for working for free or at least give us a walmart gift card that pays us up to 5 dollars every time we have to run a cash register and bagger for the Walmart company...

Hotel being renovated which was not noted on the web site. Not very clean, even the portions not being renovated. Elevator and stairwells were pretty disgusting.

The store was clean and well organized. I always like to look at the craft supplies and seasonal while I am in any store. They had different stuff that I had not noticed before. We needed help locating some items and a VERY nice lady named Pam helped us locate part of what we were looking for. Then later another lady helped I was looking for a different item and she knew right where to find it.

My wife Cara and I come to Walmart and have a good shopping experience and we always run in to one of our friends

Its Walmart, what else can you say. Although it seems with my local store they are having a hard time keeping the shelves filled. Also they never have clearance like so many other stores.

We make the two hour trip from Bluefield, VA to eat at Pirates Landing. Its worth it! We always have a fantastic meal and wonderful service. We love it!

For the most part Walmart employees are helpful, but recently my husband was at the Bluefield, VA store and ask an employee where a certain item was located. She informed him she was “ off the clock”. Excuse me? How much effort does it take to lift your finger and point in a direction. As a customer I have done that for another customer. He did not report her. And he did not get her name. I wish I had been with my husband. She would have been reported immediately. Your employees need a refresher course in “customer service”!

I love the bluefield va Walmart so much better than the princeton one. But its definitely better to go early before the rush or later in the day. The store really goes to hell when busy. And the employees are hit and miss they will not help anyone I seen a 70 year old woman wait for help with paint for over a hour. Felt so bad for her I ended up getting her what she needed.

Wal-Mart was out of a lot of items I wss looking for and they are so hot in them.

This Walmart location is one of the best I have been to in the area. It is kept nice and clean, the shelves were well-stocked and nicely arranged, and overall I had a great shopping experience here.

I am from North Carolina but frequently come to Bluefield to see family. I go to the Walmart Pharmacy in the Bluefield VA store. A lady/cashier there is always willing to help me whenever I’m in her dept. Her name is Joyce Harrison and she will come from behind the counter to help me with anything I need as I’ve seen her do with other customers. Not many people in any businesses these days are as accommodating as her and her Pharmacy department is. I appreciate the help and pleasant nature Joyce always has.Thanks.

The shopping experience was great, had no problem finding what I had on my grocery list,(the seafood cooler was not stocked, couldnt get what I wanted).The store was a little crowded.The thing that bothered 80 percent of the shoppers, only 2 cashiers with lines going back pass the jewelry dept., self check out full at the pharmacy entrance, and the same at the food entrance, had to wait 9 minutes for a register to be available.

Walmart needs to hire better people that knows what they doing. We been at this customer services over half hour because this employee named marsha has no clue what she is doing. Since when processing an return is so hard. Get an real job then complain. Omg I cant wait to get my move over with. I would rather travel off from here has to be better service then around here. At least some one that isnt so rude.

This is the best Walmart closest to me. Its always cleaned, and organized. You always see the workers working and are friendly. The other Walmart is so awful the items on the shelves look like theyve been thrown on to them, and I didnt see a single worker on the floor, with pallets in the isles and boxes truly awful. However, this Walmart is always organized and the workers are always very friendly, and theirs always someone at the department Im at Automotive, sporting goods, Ect.,Truly recommend this one, they run a tight ship there.

Play some Virginia employees are so helpful and very nice and they speak to you and you check out Princeton West Virginia employees dont even talk to you when you check out or even when you approached the register

In my opinion this Wal-Mart in Bluefield Va, has a wider selection than the one in Princeton. Doesnt seem as crowded all the time either. Id rather drive the 20 mins to go to this Wal-Mart, verses the 5 min trip to ours.

The location is nice, organized, but a cashier was so rude! We asked her 3 times if we can pay with her. She was on her phone and ignoring us!

This is 1 of the best Walmart stores I have been in! Im from Cleveland, Ohio and the Walmarts stores here in CLE should take lessons on how it should be done.

Self check out was so packed on both sides of the store and the registers with a real person taking your money was backed up past the jewlery department

Lately they havent had the items I came for in more than one department

Found what I needed. Also found a hidden clearance item on the Walmart app that was $4 less that the marked clearance price

A little on the small side for Walmart. Has been here a long time. Its well maintained and has all the amenities you would expect at a Walmart, but stock might be limited.

. THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!Pharmacy: over worked. So much that they can’t answer the phone about a prescription. This is dangerous, and the pharmacy should have more help. Deli: the dryest chicken ever. Your hold times are too long. Shelves are empty. Refrigerators have empty shelves. Open the other door on the pharmacy side. You never get more customers than your allowed. I have to walk too far. Mostly, I go to Food City. Unfortunately my mothers prescriptions are at the dreaded Walmart. Ugh!!!

I admit I am bias on this review. I do not like going into Walmart, I generally get road rage from the packed isles of slow people and the lack of human operated checkouts. The parking lot is large and the variety of products is unmatched. I personally do my shopping online. I select and pay for my items on the web site, then I get a text letting me know my items are ready for pickup or I I wait until the time I choose to pick them up. I park in the reserved pickup parking and call the number on the reserved sign to let them know which number spot I am in. They collect and bring my items to the car in crates to ensure nothing gets damaged and load them for me. I am in and out in 15 minutes and the staff is very friendly.

Found everything I went for in decent time considering it was quite busy.

Always friendly employees to help with anything you need.

I mostly place orders for curbside pickup. The staff is always polite and courteous. I did have one issue where I received part of my order and at least part if not all of someone elses order. I understand mistakes happen, but getting the other half of my order involved a lot of time on hold in the parking lot and timing out of the call system and having to call back. It was a hassle. Hence the four stars.

Tried to find some help at dressing room one put over loud speakers for help one came but had to find keys I’m still waiting after 25 min

I do not like self-checkout. Thats a position that a an employee could have making money and providing friendly personal service to the multiple problems and questions that come up by the shoppers that this self-checkout cannot help you with. Also what is freaky none of the lanes 25 to 30 Lanes no cash debit credit only one lane took cash and it was backed up which goes against their coronavirus safety guidelines of social distancing they have security guards to make sure that you have the mask on when entering the store but will have a situation where 20 people is back to back waiting in line trying to get out of Walmart because only one line will accept cash.

If they would check out faster would be nice

Store seems to stay out of stock on a lot of items.

Clean but at times its too crowded. I know its not the stores fault but too many customers stand in the middle of the aisle gossiping with acquaintances.

Always a one stop shopping trip, with walk in or pickup available, and so many items to chose from its my go to place to shop. The prices are comparable and sometimes even less then the dollar stores.

I love shopping at walmart they have just about everything you need. And following mask procedures

I am new to WV and began using Walmart in Bluefield. A store representative named Anthony Lewis went out of his way to help me. I was trying find something. He took the time to look the item up for me and told me where to find it . He said to let him know if I could not find it. Where I couldn’t find it, Anthony took the time to go find it for me. He really cared. He was polite, considerate, professional and most helpful. All employees should be more like Anthony. Walmart is lucky to have Anthony as an employee!

This store has become very unfriendly towards its in store customers. Every aisle has at least two shoppers and it is hard to get to what you need. There are never enough check out lanes or self-check lanes and this makes it difficult to socially distance ourselves.

Cleanest store I have been to in a long time and the staff were all very friendly.

Took the lady at the pharmacy over 20 minutes to finish a phone call before she would come and explain to me how to take ibuprofen and simply hand it to me. She was very unprofessional.
