This place has everything! Well, everything except food. Its comparable to a tractor supply store. We went shopping for a new kerosene heater, but we also bought clothes, cat food and other supplies, plumbing supplies, cleaning supplies, and a lot more. Everything was at a great price! Thats the thing I love most about it! My second favorite thing is that its located inside the Mercer Mall in Bluefield, WV, which was very convenient!

The sales clerk was so nice and helpful. Also one of the other employees went out of his way to get me a rider. Great place to shop 👌

Has almost everything you need for both yard work and even farm work and the staff will help you find what ever you need.

Love going there, we had a return and even though we didnt have a receipt and the item wasnt available anymore the Manger worked with us to substitute.The other employees in customer service do need more training, they were not so pleasant.Pretty much anything you might need at good prices.

Very knowledgeable and polite RK staff overall. The RK Guns staff is very well educated 👏 No question goes unanswered. If they dont have an answer, they always have it on our next visit. They are GREAT at providing their customers a great education of their products. I buy their products on a weekly basis so Im one happy customer.

Loved it! Staff was very nice and the store was huge. Found many deals and daughter loved to see the baby chicks they offered. I also visited the gun counter and the gentlemen there was very knowledgeable and was happy to show me any gun i was interested in and explain it in full detail. I Absolutely Loved the location also and even did a little shopping in the mall which is connected directly to the store, before returning back and leaving for the evening. Would definitely recommend for a fun evening, or just a quick farm run.

I do like to go to this store but it is not well organized at all. It is difficult if you are looking for a specific item.

They have a lot of boot selections and its a nice store BUT I went in to purchase a pistol and just because Im a VA resident and not a WVA resident I was turned down. I truly dont think thats fair as long as you register the gun and do it the legal way. They told me to drive all the way to Wytheville to that store.

Good variety of hardware, tools, farm supplies, work clothes, boots and firearms. Unfortunately its not as good now as when it first opened...but the area is economically worse now than then.One star subtracted for no military discount. I honestly dont expect it but if Home Depot and Lowes offer one then I can only choose Rural King over them for so long before it simply doesnt make sense financially.

Seems to be a cross between Walmart, Tractor Supply, and Harbor Frieght. I love coming here. I buy all my jeans, shorts, socks, and hardware here. My friend buys a lot of ranch equipment. Usually the free customer popcorn machine is filled.

The staff is friendly and helpful. If they are not extremely busy they will help load your car. The cashiers are mostly pleasant but the floor staff is always helpful and not overbearing.

Great customer service they got more than what you think

Numbskulls. Popcorn is more important than waiting on customer at checkout.I walked out and left $300 of stuff for them to put back. Never again.

We drove an hour to the Bluefield Royal King because it listed they had numerous trees and plants for sell. We get there and 95% of the plants were dead because no one had watered them in what appeared to be days!!! The dirt was dry and leaves were wilted and brown. It’s such a shame for such beautiful plants to just die because they can’t be watered properly. Then inside baby chickens were almost dead and they all had pasty butt which can kill them. These are living creatures that deserve to be taken care of better than that.

Always a great and friendly place

Decent prices, but frequently seem out of stock on items like certain brands of pet food, boots in various sizes have been out of stock for a while now, no tillers in stock for the garden, and the lines seem habitually long, with little help.

Sure they have what I need, usually. However, you have to find it yourself. There is NO customer service to speak of. What Customer Service there is, is rude as hell. I have called many times to see if they had something I was looking for, only to be hung up on or put on hold for 15 minutes.

It was a Sunday and freight was between each isle display so it made it hard to stay away from other customer making it difficult to get around the store. Employees blocking the isles to discuss whatever it was.

Nice selection at the store. Ive bought something from just about every department here and quality seems to be pretty good across the board. I deducted 1 star because they rarely have anyone at the popcorn stand which I dont even care about but I always see kids upset because they want it and you cant touch the machine without them dumping the whole thing, just fyi.
