I just went there.. had a problem with the truck I had chosen. The fuel management system went out.. Stephen and Scott went out of their way, and they spent almost 12hrs to put me in another truck. I have no complaints. I went from a 2015 Z71 to. 2018 Z71, which was the truck I wanted but couldnt afford the down payment. My tools had to be transfered from one truck to another. Stephen and a mechanic used a forklift to move them for me. They all went way above to make this happen. I will definitely go back when its time to trade.5 stars from me! They even bought me supper.

My husband and I had a great experience at team Chevrolet buick gmc of boone! We had hunted for weeks for a new gmc denali and couldnt find hardly any local to us and not the color/trim we where looking for. We found one online in transit to the boone dealership and called to inquire about it. Stuart was our sales representative and he done an awesome job! We where able to get the truck reserved and it even ended up being delivered to the dealership a day early!!! When we got there it had been detailed, had a full tank of diesel, and was ready to roll as soon as we signed on the dotted line! Definitely worth the 5 hour drive from KY to NC and we would recommend Stuart Bell to anyone looking to purchase a new ride!!!
Chris Frye was the best person we couldve encountered after our car accident. My Jeep was totaled in a car crash the day before, and after I called the dealership, he came to pick us up in a Traverse (the one we ended up buying). He treated us with kindness and respect and even allowed us to borrow the car for 24 hours, so we could think about the purchase and get around town. Thanks to that, we were able to buy car seats for the kids, groceries and make it home to our vacation cabin. We were also able to make an informed opinion about our purchase and resume our trip with a sense of safety and enjoyment. Quick turnaround but service wasnt kind. I booked to get diagnostic and when I came first thing was it be awhile before they can see me in a rude manner. I offer to take it to another dealership if it was that bad with no ill will because I know everyone short handed. Regardless, I got my trucked fixed which was supposed to be a 12 hour job they said and took like 3 which kinda makes me second guess the job they done but do have receipt. Another thing is when they called me to pick up my truck which I was told it be couple days they hung up on me. Overall it got done but wasnt a pleasant experience.

Our experience was great. We were coming in for the weekend and my new truck had an issue right at the dealership. Larry and Todd were great. My daughters car would not go over 20mph while she was driving. The service department at Team Chevrolet quickly accessed the problem with the 2nd row seat, ordered a part and fixed the problem. I had taken my Tahoe to the dealership where I purchased on 3 different occasions to fix the seat. I was told on the last visit that they felt like there would be a recall and that I should just wait. They also scratched my driver side door and driver side rear door. That was when I decided to change to Team Chevrolet. I just wish I had sooner!!
Larry, in service, was great to work with. The department helped in trying to diagnose an issue in the cooling system which resulted in no immediate issues though potential issues were made aware. I appreciated the level and expediency of communication and look forward to working with Team again in the future!
I called to set up an appointment with them and they were very rude when I asked about a loaner vehicle. I understand that they may have limitations. However, the service manager was arrogant and his response and spoke to me as if I was a burden to him. We will not be going back to this dealership.

After a few hiccups that appear to be resolved, this is a run of the mill dealership. Unfortunately nothing to brag about or recommend. Decent deal compared to similar vehicles on the market. Had some paperwork snaffus and my trade in didnt get paid off as expected. These issues werent surprising though, and we forseen potential issues due to how the whole transacation was handled and even how the paperwork was handled. On a different note there was no pressure during the sales process, and it was probably the shortest time we have spent at a dealership. (Again paperwork and process issues that required a return trip so maybe that wasnt a win.)They were super apologetic and accomodating when coming back to fix an issue so that earned them 2 more stars than my original review.

Beware car buyers...I had a bad experience at Team Chevy in Boone, NC. I had a deal sheet on Saturday that was not honored on Monday...$4K difference. Their “discounts” can actually disappear if you don’t follow their script. You better read the fine print and ask a lot of questions. Send a message to this dealer and others like it: If deception is required to sell a vehicle, it is not worth buying.As my car hunt continues...Nowhere else have I seen these “hidden fees” and “conditional discounts.” Other dealers in the SE seem to be more upfront w/ their fees and prices. Why can’t Team Chevy? Check all their reviews, and you will see another customer from TN that was given a price that was not honored.
I bought my car about 3 months ago and have yet to receive my registration! When asked I get the runaround about some paperwork was missing/lost. I was told that I can’t drive my car because it was illegal so have been carless because of their carelessness. Horrible experience and rude customer service trying to get this situated.
I ran over a large rock on my first day of vacation on top of a mountain and ruptured my gas tank. Chevrolet Roadside was great in getting my car towed that night to Team Chevrolet Of Boone. They were outstanding. Larry Carroll at Team Chevrolet was super. He expedited my repairs since he knew I was stranded at the cabin with no transportation. I have never had to deal with any type of accident. I was an hour away from their shop but they sent a shuttle out to get us when the car was finished. We had to check out since it was a rental. They worked their schedules to take care of me. The driver that picked us up was named Kirby. He was such a nice, friendly young man. Made a stressful situation very calming. Honestly, I am not typically the one to write reviews. Be cautious with team Chevy in Boone, they don’t seem to have their act together. I had serious interest in a RST Silverado there and this vehicle was sold (not mad about it, I never put money down).. the communication was the problem.. now to the truck I actually bought, I traded in two vehicles, not that complicated. Transferred the tag from one and left with the expectation that they would turn in my other tag, as a matter of fact, I was promised it would be turned into the DMV.. fast forward two months, I get a letter in the mail from the DMV advising the tag was never turned in. I FREAKED out... long story short, it was never turned in. The DMV advised the tag was turned in today.. after several calls and texts to a manager at Team Chevy. Use caution or simply don’t buy from them, their administration skills for purchasing a vehicle are way off based on my experience. Two stars because they did work with me on the trades and did a decent job with pricing.
Well I cant speak of the service department or parts, but the sales department stinks. I drove 2 hours to look at a SLT 2500 GMC truck with leather. I confirmed the truck was there on Friday night, Saturday, and Tony, the salesman actually called me Monday at 1:30pm to ask if I wanted to come drive it. So here I went AFTER LEAVING WORK EARLY, only to get there and discover the truck wasnt there. GOOD GRIEF!! Then proceeded to tell me they could order one for the same price I can get a Denali in Johnson city Tn (where I live) ..so WAY over priced because if u dont know the Denali is an upgrade from the SLT. Im old, Ive bought many new cars, these are not the people u wanna deal with. I give reviews on 2 types of people..the great ones or the worst...theyre the worst. Buyer beware

I rarely write reviews for establishments, but here we go.I found an AT4 that I really liked at this dealership that I was ready to buy. I asked if they could do any better, to which I was told no.A week or so later, and the price dropped for this vehicle by ~$2k online.They did follow up with 3 phone calls this Saturday, but at this point I’m just not interested.When someone is ready to buy a vehicle, don’t do one thing and then cut the price online after you “couldn’t”.I’m most certainly not on the “team”.

Best car buying experience I’ve ever had. My salesman, Brian Davis was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Never did we feel pressured or pushed in any particular direction. We got a great deal on our trade. Our pre owned vehicle had a bad tail light in the end. Brian and the staff went above and beyond our expectations to rectify this. Not only did they replace the broke part, but they loaned us a newer vehicle to drive back home (in Clayton NC). Once they had the repair completed, they delivered our purchase 3 hours away and picked up their loaner. I simply can not recommend them highly enough. Visiting from out of town, saw price of truck we liked online so went to check it out. Be aware!!!!! Their online prices ARE NOT updated. Not only did they up their price by 9k, they offered us 30k for our trade in of a 2020 Jeep Wrangler that we just paid 46k for! Needless to say we dont need a higher towing capacity for the loss of 16k. Crooks to put it nicely!
Apparently the service department decided the mask wearing mandate was a joke, they all wore there masks below there chin or below there nose,if at all. All the customers were wearing masks, but yet the service department decided not to. I know these are trying times, i know masks are veryuncomfortable, but my wife could easily die if she were to catch the covid. Dont understand if the state of north Carolina mandates masks, the dealership has signs onthere doors asking for masks, why the only people in the whole building deciding not to wear masks is the service department. I would not go back at least until the pandemichas passed

The members of the service department did an excellent job with my truck. Went in for a routine Oil change, alignment, and rotation but unfortunately did not have my lug key. Was able to perform the alignment and oil change and then was able to return later that day and do the tire rotation at no fee. So far I have always had a very positive experience every time I go there.
Laura Harklerod was very pleasant and informative during my car buying experience. She explained Apple CarPlay which made it much easier for me to use when driving. I definitely recommend her when buying a car from Team Chevrolet!

My fiancé and I were In need of a new vehicle for our beach vacation coming up. We have two kids and needed something with third row seating. After looking at several places, we decided to go here! We were greeted from the start and they did everything they could to get us in the vehicle we wanted. Our sales person Laura even went the extra mile! She new we were going to the beach soon, so on the day we finished the paperwork, she took us outside and opened the trunk. She had put all kinds of beach toys and floats in the back for our little girls. They were so excited and are now ready for the beach trip! Will definitely be a returning customer!

Worst dealership I have ever been to. Went to look at a used car they listed online for 17500 I had a check in my pocket for 21k. I get there and the price was 19000. I drove all the way from TN for the old bait and switch on price. They refused to move on the price because I refused to finance through them. This is how dealers get you is by making you finance through them they get a kick back from the bank. The sales girl was amazing and nice. The finance guy was rude absurd and tacked on a bunch of BS charges. I walked away. Avoid this place at all cost
The service at this Chevrolet dealer has always struggled and continues to. I am starting to think that we are crazy to keep going back! My husband was the first appointment of the day (7:30 am) for just an oil change And it still took them over an hour and a half. Our previous appt took over 3 hours for an oil change. We waited for the car each time. Crazy!

I brought my car in for a regular oil change. When I left I noticed they had the wrong mileage on the sheet that shown all the work being done. They asked for my lock nut to rotate and balance. When I started driving it started pulling to the right and it had never done this. It also started shaking really bad when reaching high speeds. All of which did not happen until it was brought here. I went here for the convenience of distance from my house. Next time i will definitely make the drive to wilkesboro.
I came into Team Chevrolet of Boone about a month ago to inquire about purchasing a vehicle. I was referred by my friend who had a wonderful service experience since Team Chevrolet took over from Discovery. The service manager was Larry Carroll he said. So I came in and talked to Larry and he referred me to Jay in sales. Jay wasnt there and I met John Ward, Mr. Ward was extremely unprofessional and he outright blew me off. He said he was about to go on a bike trip? I mean, come on!! Isnt this a business? I stood there with $4k cash in hand to purchase a new truck and he just blew me off! Everett earned my business! Shame on you Team!
Don’t take your car to service department they messed mine up and said it had a cracked head which it didn’t they wanted 2,000 to fix it I took it to a honest mechanic he said the head was not cracked he had to fix what they had messed up they had drilled 2 holes and put 2 bolts in that didn’t even fit so beware of them they are crooks at Boone would never buy anything from them again !!!
No loaner vehicle was available and they should know that there is no way to get a rental vehicle in case of an emergency in Boone! This left me without a vehicle for 2 out of the 3 days!
Discovery delivered my second outstanding experience in buying a vehicle from them. This time, it was a rather complex deal involving me turning in a leased Chevy Traverse a few months early and with far more miles beyond what the contract allowed. Eric, the sales manager, left no stone unturned in exploring and reviewing my options. With financing rates being low, he was able to roll debt from the leased vehicle into the financing for my new purchase. Larry, the finance guy, made the purchasing process fast and easy. I got out from under an expensive lease agreement (originated by a different Chevy dealer in another state) and into a gorgeous 2020 GMC Sierra pickup. Kudos to Eric, Larry and the whole Discovery team. I usually hate the process of buying a new car. But the folks at Discovery go against every bad cliche of a car dealer and worked hard to get me a good deal. They are a pleasure to work with.
Your team was very helpful in detecting and repairing a problem that we just assumed was mechanical, when actually, a mouse had gotten into the fan and chewed through a wire. The location had my vehicle for 2 months. Sometimes I called to inquire about the status, and on several occasions after I identified myself the person immediately hung up on me. I quit calling and just went to pick up my vehicle, enough is enough. The driver door still does not lock/unlock, I paid for that service. My vehicle reports the oil life is 0% and needs an oil change - thats one of the things I had it there for and paid for (was it done or not?). Things like this give me concern that non of what I paid for was actually done. I am disputing the charge and will never return.
Worked with Brian Davis and he was an awesome salesman! He took excellent care of me. I also preferred family members to him which he took care of them also. I will also go back to purchase newer vehicles down the road.
I was out car shopping and found a 2017 Kia Sportage. I ended up working with Jeremy, who was a great salesman! He was not pushy and allowed me to test drive the car around several times and gave me time to research and call my husband without any hassle. When it came time to negotiate the price, this dealership gave me more than I was expecting for my trade in vehicle. The price was already dropped online and they honored it at the dealership. Jeremys manager was friendly as well. The only individual I felt I was given the unpleasant car dealership experience was the finance guy, but I feel additional push for tack on insurance is to almost be expected. Once I told the finance person no, he moved on with doing the paperwork for the sale.I would highly recommend asking for Jeremy! Ive heard from him several times, via text and phone message, making sure I am happy with my purchase and if I needed anything. He scheduled a car service for me (which I found out I actually didnt need), and assisted me with a financial question I had as I did not get a response from the finance person when I called regarding my loan.Overall, it was a smooth experience and I would recommend others shop this dealership!
My mother, Angie Wright, bought a truck and Brian helped her find a new truck within the price range we wanted. He was really nice and helpful. He was very good at his job.

Hello. I am disappointed in my visit. The main reason being - the NC inspection was completed knowing that it would fail. Also, the cost of the NC inspection is $13 but I was charged $25. WHY? Why would you run an inspection knowing it would fail and charge your customer?
