We bought our Mattress Firm mattresses from the Boone, NC store. When we got home, we noticed that one mattress looked re-wrapped in plastic and had ‘broken display’ labels on the plastic. Once we removed the plastic, we found the mattress had soil stains on the top surface and tears on the bottom surface. Now we have to wait 5 days for the replacement which means we have to make an unnecessary 2 hour trip back to our 2nd home just to receive the replacement mattress. We have purchased from Mattress Firm in the past, but this is probably our last. No concessions have been offered by the store.

The salesman was very knowledgeable about mattresses and mattress firm of Boone had the best deals in town with the sale we got on ours plus the free protector that was over 200 dollars. I recommend going here over any other mattresses store in Boone.

Went to buy 2 mattresses to be delivered to my Florida home. When they tabulated the total their was an additional $ 199.- delivery charge above the $ 99.- gold service delivery. After they failed to give me a satisfactory answer I cancelled the order. I then called the Mattress Firm near my home in Florida and the exact same products came to $ 1,000 less. One of the mattresses was $ 400 less and came with a box spring. They also upped my delivery to platinum which was good as have the ability to raise and lower the bed. They also didn’t try and sell me an extended warranty for the electronic portion. I suspect the location in Boone is a franchise.

My husband and I had a great experience at the Boone location. The sales associate, Brandon, helped us quickly and answered all our questions. He is professional! We knew what we wanted and was in and out in minutes. No sales pressure. Thanks Brandon!!

Drove a long way to the store with my wife. We arrived at 1130 am on Thursday. The lights were on, but the doors were locked. We had lunch and came back at 1 pm. Still no one there. Extreme waste of our time. If the store is that undependable with regard to staffing the store, how could anyone trust their service if you you have an issue with your purchase?

The salesman yesterday was awful and made the worst mistake of someone in retail trying to make a commission... He made political jokes thinking that we had the same view point as him. Not only do they not have anything in stock for you to take home that day but the price is way too much for the quality.

Absolutely the worst customer experience ever. I waited for a total of 8 hours on two separate occasions for the delivery of a mattress. The delivery driver refused to bring it, and got the run around from everyone involved. I would never consider making a purchase from this company again.

A good selection of products, however just a few days before delivery is scheduled, we were told they have truck issues and cannot deliver the mattress on the scheduled date. It seems to me they could easily rent trucks to keep their customers happy. We will have to pick up the mattress and tie it to the roof I guess.

If you are trying to decide between buying a mattress here or online, go ahead and find a good one online that has free returns. We purchased a mattress that we thought we would love (BeautyRest Black Hybrid) after laying on it, and after a month we were both in so much pain we could hardly take it. Decided to return it only to find out there is a 10% restocking fee and a $100 fee for them to come pick it up. Also, we bought into the free base that they offered when we bought the mattress but cannot return that and now are locked into paying 1,200 for a base, some sheets and pillows, and no mattress. No other online mattress company that I have found are doing any of those ridiculous things. The people who work there have been very nice and cooperative. This is more a review of the entire company rather than just the Boone location.

Ordered a mattress to be delivered and then went back to order a set of box springs to be delivered with the mattress. Assured it would be. Mattress was delivered, but not the box springs. Set to be delivered a week later. Inconvenient and not coordinated.

Customer service in the store was excellent. No pressure to purchase anything and staff were knowledgeable about the different products available. There was a problem and my mattress didnt arrive at the store on the scheduled date, however they upgraded me to the next level at no cost so I left with a better mattress than I had ordered. So while there was a mistake made the staff in the store were able to make it right so it wasnt a problem and I was able to take a mattress home just like promised. Great service recovery in my opinion. Mattress sleeps great so far and Id purchase here again.

I got a plus King Sized from the Mattress Firm in Boone in March 2016. If you go to this location, ask for Tucker. He was a Rock star, helped me identify the right mattress in my price range. Delivery guys got the mattress up the stairs at my house and set everything up the way I wanted it. Overall positive experience.

Horrible experience all the way around. Do yourself a favor, dont step foot in this store! They messed up order (didnt deliver box spring) then said box spring we ordered was sold out. Worst shopping experience I have ever had!! The manager is clueless and says he doesnt have the number for a district or regional manager. Not helpful at all. When I asked who the manager was he answered in 3rd person. Accepted no responsibility whatsoever. Just horrible experience!!! Will never shop here again and you shouldnt either!

On August 15 my husband and I purchased at the Boone store 2 high end Beautyrest Black Ice Luxury pillows after having tried the store sample for some 10 minutes. That very night neither my husband nor I were able to sleep through the night on the newly purchased pillows. They were noticeably harder and seemed higher than the store sample we had tried. The store refuses to take back a purchse when you exit the store even if you dont use it. This is tantamount to NO customer service. Just two years ago Matress Firm of HIckory NC offered us a matress with a return/exchange guarantee within a certain time limit. No so thing here in Boone. I foolishly went ahead with the purchase and now have $275 worth of unuseable pillows.

The only reason I didnt give 0 stars was they did deliver the mattress we paid for. We also ordered mattress cover but interesting didnt show up on invoice but charged over $100 sales tax. When didnt hear from them by noon of delivery day, called store and told no record of our purchase. Salesman put down wrong phone number, then told they came to deliver and I wasnt home( I was there) delivery crew told me they were at my address repeatedly, not!! And finally they arrived in the afternoon after being told we were first delivery of the day. We will never purchase from a Mattress Firm again!! Customer is NEVER right there.

Ordered a bed for my mother in law my wife was told that the bed would be delivered on October 5 my wife waited for the whole day for them to call. When my didnt hear from them she called the store and the person that she talked to said that it was coming from Bristol but they keep changing their story each time she talked to them she finally talked to the dm he told my wife that they wasnt doing any deliveries that and that the bed was going to be coming out of Charlotte he final my arrangements for the bed to be delivered on October 12. The night before she got a text confirming the delivery between 3 and 5:30 after 6 still no delivery wife called boone store they told her that it would be delivered between 7 and 9pm an they gave her a way to track the delivery it kept pushing the delivery time up. When my wife talked to the dm he told her that there was an option to pick up at the store which the sale person didnt let her know

Cant recall ever having a worse customer service experience. After missing THREE delivery windows Boone store delivery refused to set up frame stating they couldnt do it. Daughter and her college roommate subsequently assembled it in 10 minutes. Had MattressFirm performed the setup as contractually agreed they would have seen it was the wrong type and not what we thought was ordered. I prearranged an exchange through the Mooresville store. My daughter disassembled the frame and took it to the Boone store whereupon Steve brought her to tears stating he wasnt aware of exchange (Mville states not true) and wouldnt swap it because she didnt have the original cardboard box! Heres the kicker; though an employee of only 45 days he states he has neither a store, area, region or corporate manager he reports to or any method by which I can make a complaint.
