Place is clean, well maintained, and bright.Selection of goods and brand of goods is typical with other Food Lion in North Carolina.Toilet is very clean and well maintained.Customer service is quick and friendly.Parking space is clean and spacious. The location is very good, very close to Blue Ridge Parkways.

Nice grocery store. We always stop in here to get wood for the houses rent good price for wood and its always dry which is a big thing when you want to have a fire.

Not sure if Food Lion changed or if I did as I got older. Fruit and veggies always look good. Sales are always in my favor.. one person or the other. Ill keep going back thats for sure.

I Love this foodlion they have a very clean store. The people that work there are amazing. Im disabled and they will go out of there way to help me get my groceries out and drive the cart back for me. Thanks for all that they do❤

Most shelves are generally stocked. Carts are sanitized. Did not notice anyone managing the door for capacity. Too many large groups shopping in the aisles.

They are always great, the staff is super friendly with excellent customer service. The sheer number of employees at any given time is always impressive, you never have to wait for checkout and theres always someone on the floor near you to answer any questions. I also love that they pride themselves on getting fresh food from local sources. i literally go here at least once a week highly recommend it.

Always has what I need. The workers are always so kind to open more lanes, unlike walmart😑. They are always so helpful and kind. Would choose Food Lion over anything else.

So, Im so conflicted writing this review. I have been shopping nearly exclusively at food lion for 4 years since living in Boone. I love this store. Its friendly, clean, and generally well stocked with what I need. However, and this is a symptom of the current state of society, the meat selection has been, rough. Namely the chicken. On two occasions, I have purchased chicken breasts and before the sell by date has arrived they were foul smelling and slimy. I know this isnt the stores fault, but it is something you should be aware of. Other than that, I love this location.

Friendly staff and clean store. Not very busy and there were two employees cleaning carts and directing flow. Food Lion is doing their part here in Boone!

This is my go-to grocery store in Boone. I like the prices and the produce and meat are always fresh. The discounts for being an MVP member are awesome. My only wish is that they had more healthy and non-dairy selections.

My grocery store of choice, especially for a quick trip. While all the crazies are at Walmart across the way, Im in and out of Food Lion in a flash! Prices are reasonable and Food Lion brand products are comparable.

Decent store. Overall, very rude staff. Its what you expect Food Lion to be, although Wal-Mart has better deals and self-checkout.

If youve been to a food lion, then youve been to this location too. Its what youd expect at any other foodlion.One thing I noticed is their lack of icecream options. They have more variety in their beer selection than they do in icecreams.5/5 in terms of the employees, but they only get 4/5 as they have a smaller selection in ice cream and a few other areas compared to other food lions or grocery stores.

Another Food Lion store. Not much different than any of the other locations. But thats a good thing - all Food Lions seem to have the same good prices, decent food, and helpful staff.

I have been a weekly Food Lion customer for six years. Since moving to Boone this Food Lion has become my preferred grocery store. The selection and prices are comparable to other Food Lion stores. The staff at this particular Food Lion are always happy and helpful.

The store is pretty clean but the handicap stall in the mens bathroom has had a broken toilet seat for over a month! Its two bolts to fix it but even after telling a store employee about it, its still broken. I contacted the headquarters about the issue and they wanted me to tell the store manager....thats not my place.

Ive been a avid foodlion shopper my whole life, but during this corona epidemic they have drastically failed. I am very disappointed in how they manage their employees. Ive spoken numerous times to their head manager and she seems to think whoop Dee Doo is the attatude to have during this. That attitude will kill people, especially high risk people.
