One of my favorite places on campus! Great staff, always good coffee. Theyre open 24 hours during the last 2 weeks of the semester and till 12am Sunday through Thursday. They use compostable cups and lids which is awesome! If youre on campus and looking for a good coffee place or a late night place to study with coffee, this is the spot.
Super nice staff and fun vibes.
Awesome people, awesome coffee
In all honesty, this place seems like one of the lower quality places on campus for coffee/food. There are much better places within 10 minutes walking distance. That being said, its location proves convenient and its good enough that I will continue going there.
The perfect respite when navigating the vast campus of CU Boulder. Beautiful coffee and mixed drinks located near the heart of campus. Great prices and good, prompt service. A thoughtful addition to this already beautiful school. Located near the library and the rec center. Plenty of seating and a cozy atmosphere make this a popular meeting place.
Real dark roast espresso the way it was meant to be. Great atmosphere and baristas.
Decent coffee. Beats waiting in line at Starbucks for the same quality. Adding pumpkin spice flavoring definitely helps. Good price as well
Favorite spot on campus. Great coffee, usually has good music and convenient location for a quick break while studying in Norlin. Love this place.
Best place on campus to get a latte. The staff are very friendly and fun. Also, it may look like theres a really long line, but theyre very efficient and they get through that line crazy quickly
Great place to get caffeinated on campus, took one star off because their iced black tea tastes like dish soap. Everything else tastes great.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Standard coffee drinks and teas. Try the local energy bars. Probably the best library cafe on campus. There are tiny, expensive meat pies if you like that.
Small extension of the original coffeehouse in the back or Norlin Library on CU Boulder campus. Coffee and pastry options are good and there are spaces to sit on both interior and exterior. Never seen so many milk-alternatives!
I dont know what they do here, but this is seriously some of the best espresso I have ever had. Laughing Goat has exceptional coffee.
I must say, it is a lovely small coffee shop on campus, always had a great atmosphere of study. If youre looking to go here try going in the morning or off season(aka when schools not in session) and you will be able to get coffee easily.
For something quick it is a nice place on campus to stop. What more can you expect from a college coffee shop? Avoid the food if it is not a pastry.
Very long line, but very delicious coffee for the time crunch they have to make it with how busy it always is. Nice they can make it in a reuseable cup for a 25 cent discount
Good coffee. No refill discount though. Need to buy another coffee.
Okay for a quick cop but lacking in ambiance. Cafe au lait not very flavorful.
Its a small library coffee shop, but it certainly gets the job done. The staff is always friendly and they make a mean cup of joe
This is the fourth time Ive gone here each time hoping for a better cup of Joe, but to my displeasure i have had better coffee made from a target drip brew using Folgers coffee. this is the last time I will go here
Good for a quick coffee. Make sure to get there before class lets out or the line is long af
Best, richest, smoothest breve Ive had yet.
I get the venetian cream with half toddy half venetian cream and its sweet but not too sweet. Staff is friendly and I love the convenience. Prices dont make me feel like im being robbed either!
Staff members are always kind, usually good music. Expensive for my tastes but thats a college kid life
Was exploring the campus this morning and stopped by for a quick coffee. Super friendly staff, nice and clean environment, reasonable prices for good coffee -- though I need to mention that my latte was a bit weak, so thats why the 4 star rating.
Quick spot on campus for coffee. Affordable too!
Decent coffee at the library. Espresso drinks are definitely respectable. Slightly less expensive than pekoe. Always very busy.
These people are the reason I have passed my classes. Ask for suggestions on whats heavily caffeinated when they arent super busy and theyll be more than happy to assist!
Best coffee. Whenever Im in Boulder, I try to get my fix.
If you like college coffee places, come here while in Boulder.
The coffee is decent, but the convenience is superb.
I study here on the regular. Coffee is good and has a decent selection of food and baked goods.
The Laughing Goat coffee shop in Norlin is truly dedicated to the students at CU Boulder. They adjust their hours based on student need, like being open much later during finals and adjusting their summer hours for those classes. The espresso drinks and iced coffee are exceptional, but for some reason the regular drip coffee always seems watered down. I would have probably given 3.5 stars but since you cant, and Im a fan of rounding, they get 4.Being on the CU campus does up the price a bit, but nothing outlandish compared to other coffee shops on campus. The fact that you get even half a smile and good service from the staff is amazing considering the insane amount of traffic (most of it mindless zombies in need of caffeine injection and some of it rude entitled students) is amazing. Ive never seen the staff have a melt down and goodness knows Ive wanted to have one for them. (Side note: if youve been waiting 10 minutes in line at a coffee shop and still dont know what you want and you see the line growing into a chinese dragon please just do us all a favor, practice at home and be ready next time).
Super great coffee and espresso drinks. A bit pricey when it comes to the espresso drinks and the food but its a cafe on campus.
Coffee is good, but expensive compared to other locations on campus.
Their espresso drinks are some of the best
I love their sandwiches. Very clever and inventive.
Lady with nose piercing really rude!
Occasionally getting an americano there (it has been $2.70 including tax for a medium with a single double shot of espresso) and it has been tasting good consistently -- coffee blend they use has a creamy taste and just right degree of roasting. Their measurement unit of espresso shots is a double (get ready to get caffeinated!). Shortest or no lines are during class times. In the fall semester of 2015 they had early bird special of $1 medium americano before 8 am. Several tables nearby provide a nice spot for a chat or an informal meeting. Art work on the walls (courtesy of the library?) is often thought provoking. This coffee shop is usually open during a school year but closed during the breaks. UC libraries website has an up to date schedule of the days and hours the coffee shop is open.
Great service and the coffee is high quality. The baristas on Wednesdays are bomb!
Decent coffee, friendly staff, but no punch cards :(
Best coffee on campus! Dont even bother going to the other cafes here!
Get your hours right online before I walk 30 minutes to get a coffee when you’re still apparently open but just “decided” to change your hours for the day.
Update: had a cup of coffee which actually tasted like watery milk
Its a busy place with students buzzing around. But its in the campus library, after all.
I ordered coffee here because I was in a hurry and really need a pick me up. I shouldve walked to the hill for some coffee instead. The quality was okay, the price was a little high. Over all, not very satisfied with my purchase. If I wasnt in a hurry I wouldnt buy coffee here.
Its below average, more often than not the black ice tea tastes like soap.
Really cool place to chill on campus
Waaaay too expensive food with alright drinks.
Nothing special. Limited food menu. Coffee is okay.
Nice place for a coffee.
My favorite coffee shop on campus.
Made a great latte.
Never a bad experience.
Best coffee on campus.
Nice coffee shop on campus!
Perfect place to study
Best coffee on campus
Great location, close to home
Pretty good
Terrible, awful customer service!!! so so coffee... never again.
Cafeteria for emergency food
Good coffee!
Wine and Poetry !
Busy
It is only an option since generally the other nearby coffee shops are completely full, and it is well located for the visitor, it is not very comfortable.
Morning coffee
