BL has the least friendly office staff in Colorado. The guys who work in the yard are great, but the people inside are the worst. Ive been a contractor in Boulder for 20 years and never once had a good experience with them. Anybody up for opening another lumber yard in Boulder?

Wow, super fast response to the email I sent asking about a particular siding, which they had in stock. After a visit to the store, and getting help from a friendly employee, I paid and got free delivery of a nice 4 x 8 sheet of siding. A perfect experience to start my day. Thanks!

One of the few old school businesses left in the area. The quality of the wood they carry is vastly better than the big box stores. The guys behind the counter are busy and expect you to be ready to place your order and get on with it. As a professional, its my first choice for lumber.

Better quality lumber than at the nationally known hardware stores. The professionals shop here. Staff very friendly towards me as the weekend warrior amateur type.

On occasion I need lumber. The quality at Boulder lumber is always better than the orange or blue stores. I wish Boulder Lumber had a wider selection of lumber, and a showroom with current examples of windows and doors. They are a bit to-the-point. It is not a place to take the kids to play.

I am not a contractor. The staff treats me as such... I end up going to Home Depot for lumber instead.

Around 20 percent of the lumber delivered for my last project was badly warped or had other significant defects.
