I would give them 10 stars out of 5. They were very helpful in finding an issue with our car. A regular shop would’ve said we need a new engine but they of course found a solution that didn’t require the whole engine replaced which saved us so much money and grief. I couldn’t say more good things about them and we will continue to go to them for all our car needs.

Our RV broke down while on vacation in Utah. Rudy and the team at Family Auto got it back up and running within 24 hours! It was a holiday weekend and they dont normally service RVs, but they helped us get back on the road. Very grateful for their help and professionalism! Willing to travel from South Jordan to Bountiful because the mechanics are honest and totally straight forward in their work without any additional hidden costs. Had their auto shop service several of my vehicles in the past and have been satisfied with their mechanical work. I recommend them over any auto repair shop and dont take my word for it. Try them out next time you have an issue with your vehicle. You will be pleased with the outcome.

I was told by someone else that all of my spark plugs and fuel injectors needed replaced at a cost of$2660. I took my vehicle here and they checked it out and told me only the spark plugs needed replaced and that would be less than $350.When I picked it up Rudy gave me some maintenance tips to use. My vehicle drives great now! Im so happy I took it here! They saved me over $2,000!

Rudy and Lee were awesome! My car started to smell really bad a few dats ago, and the Toyota dealer couldnt get me in for five days. So I drove into Family Auto Center. Although they were fully booked, Rudy came out to take a sniff, predicted that something dead was in the air filter compartment. A couple of minutes later, Lee and Rudy together found a dead mouse in the air filter compartment, removed it, sprayed deodorant, and replaced the air filter for me right then and there. When I asked how much I owed them, Rudy said, oh, just bring us some cookies or something. I cannot thank them enough! We need more people like Rudy and Lee on this planet. Next time I have any problem with my car, Im going directly to Family Auto Center, even though they are half an hour away from my house.

In all reality this review could not express enough how well family Auto Center actually cares for their customers. David went out of his way to help me get in the car I wanted. I had a very complex situation.. this was not easy sell for him but he was very patient and accommodating for 3 weeks. He never made me feel like the previous dealerships I had went to days before. He was never pushy or rude once. He got the car I wanted from their other location and the deal They talked to me about. I 10 out of 10 recommend! If you are looking for a new car this is the place to go hands down!

Dont go there. They made me make an appointment just to get an oil change and tried to charge me $104 just for an oil change and some repairs I didnt authorize.

I love Family Auto! Nolan and Lee are so kind and knowledgeable about mechanics. My Dad was a Mechanic and would have fit right in with these guys. Just to make sure you understand, these guys are not technicians they are true mechanics. They have diagnosed and fixed my car many times on the same day. Nolan has even given me a ride home on a few occasions. I trust their prices and honesty.

Noel and his team are amazing! It is hard to find a trustful mechanic, and I can honestly say I have found one. My car didn’t start and he was able to get it fixed on Christmas Eve! I appreciate you going above and beyond.

I am so grateful for these wonderful people! I got home from work today to discover that our Odysseys alternator was about to bite the dust (it was sizzling). We were in a crunch, because its our only vehicle, and we needed it for a family trip tomorrow. My 6-year-old daughters heart was particularly broken at the thought of not being able to travel. She prayed a tender prayer that a miracle would happen! I told Nolan at Family Auto what was going on, and even though he was completely booked through tomorrow, he promised his best effort. I left him the car, and hours later, after 9 pm, he called me to let me know that our car was ready to go. He even offered to pick me up. I was deeply impressed--even inspired--with Nolans unpretentious kindness and diligence. And I could hardly wait to tell my daughter that God inspires kindness in people like Nolan and that He often shows us His love through the goodness of others.

Its hard to find an honest mechanic. So far so good. They are a business, and as such they dont do the work for free, but I feel they are fair and went out of their way to save me money. You generally have to wait a few days to get in.

Fixed my car, built a needed piece and informed me of other problems on the car without pressuring me to spend more money. Great place.
