Unfortunately a lot of automotive places like to take advantage of folks who don’t know much about cars, recommending things that don’t need fixed or right out lying about what does need fixed, Then overcharging for repairs. Luckily with these guys I don’t have that problem and I think I will be a long time customer with them! They are very straightforward, honest and don’t pressure me into buying anything. Their prices are much better than I have paid elsewhere too and I feel very happy about my overall experience with them.

Got a punctured tire on the way home from work and needed to get a new set of tires anyway, so I called in around 4pm, came in at 4:30pm, and I had new tires installed by 5:15pm. Great customer service and got the job done so fast and just made the whole process so easy! Thanks!

I love these guys so much! They are the only shop that makes me feel like family. I own a Ford F-150 with power running boards. The passenger side running boards motor seized and I needed a replacement. Larry Miller Ford Draper wanted to charge me $2,200 to replace it. I purchased a new motor online $85.00 and took my truck to Point 5 Tires Bountiful and they took off the old motor, lubed the hinges, installed the new motor and now I have a ‘like new’ running board. Point 5 charged me $110.00 for their work. Amazing. Now I am going to be a long standing customer. Their work was timely, professional and the receptionist was very kind.

Very friendly and helpful! They mounted and balanced tires on our truck. They also let me know my brakes needed to be replaced soon but no high pressure. I really appreciate that and I will continue to to business with them!

Dropped off a delivery here. The staff were quick to act to help me unload my delivery and make sure every item was counted for.

My tires were analyzed and new ones put on in record time as U needed to head out on a road trip the next day. Paul was especially helpful in making sure I knew all of the options before proceeding.

I was in there a week and a half ago. I had never been to Point S before, but I went in there because their website mentioned taking steps to keep everyone healthy. Every tire shop I have been in lately hasnt been wearing mask, so I went looking for a shop that would be taking steps to stop the spread of Covid-19. Even though their website mentions taking step to keep everyone safe, not a single employee was wearing masks both times I was inside. If you are looking for a covid cautions tire shop, dont go to Point S. They were nice and did the job other than that, but right now its ridiculous that a business isnt taking this serious.

Came here for an emissions test after negative experiences at two other places, and was really happy with my visit. The waiting area was clean and comfortable, they didn’t try to upsell me on anything, and the service was efficient. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I saw them keeping other customers apprised of what was going on with their vehicles and how long of a wait they could expect. The employees were kind and courteous all around. It was my first time here, but it won’t be my last!

I was ready to pay for it but they said no, and they replaced it for FREE because the tires were bought there. I had no idea. They could have easily just charged my card. I bought a car at Family Autosales and they sent me here to reverse light. They handled it quickly and politely.

I love that when they were done with my car they gave me a computer printout that showed exactly where my car was out of alignment before they started. It showed what they fixed. My car drives smoothly now.

I was looking to replace my second flat tire in a week, and it was cold and snowy. There guys know what customer Service is about! They had me in and out in a short amount of time everything was fairly priced and they were doing everything with a smile on their face definitely will go back!

I came in for an oil change but had a few questions about my tires. They looked at them, balanced the front two which were way out, but then didnt charge me for it because the tires were getting so worn, Wade wasnt sure it would do any good. He sent me quotes for new tires, but only when I asked for some. Its so refreshing to not have anyone try to push products or services on me. I feel like I can trust these guys and will certainly be back in the future!

I had a flat tire and was driving around on a spare. I came in for an appointment and they got me in right away, then about 15 minutes later she tells me the tire has been fixed and I’m ready to go. And then she gives my the bill: $20! I couldn’t believe it. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

Every time I visit this location, they go the extra mile! After a very positive tire buying experience last year, today I went in for a road hazard warranty tire repair for my truck & to get quotes for tires for my wife’s car. I was also expecting to buy a new spare wheel & tire for the truck b/c I had previously upgraded to 1” bigger rims. First, Paul went out of his way to find an affordable solution for the car. Then, he actually got down under the truck, in the parking lot, to verify my current spare wheel & tire sizes, and then he told me that what I already have will work just fine. I highly recommend the 500 S location of Point S in Bountiful.

I was visiting from out of town and had a slow leak. They explained what had happened and that the tire couldn’t be fixed, showed me the wear, and gave me a good price on new tires. I didn’t end up buying tires from them because they didn’t have a shop close to my town but I appreciated their help and it was a very pleasant experience.

My brother referred me to Paul after having a terrible experience with a dealership. The two experiences couldnt have been more different! Paul did some research on the codes for my issue before I even brought in the car. He showed me the process of what Ford recommends to evaluate, then fix issue. He communicated with me through the day of what was happening, and then he went above and beyond by doing the emissions test on my car that I needed but hadnt mentioned. I live thirty minutes away from this shop, but Ill gladly drive that far to get this honest and great service.

Great team! Ive had a couple issues over-diagnosed but I attribute that to their staff being careful to make sure that any little thing is taken care of. They know I trust my daughters life to this vehicle and they know Id rather take care of it than take chances. Keep your expectations realistic for their volume and size and you wont be disappointed. This was the best experience I’ve ever had when my car broke down. Paul personally came to my on the side of the road and helped me get my starter to work. Then, he let me follow him to the shop and had my car fixed. He was incredibly friendly and professional. My car was fixed super quick and I was on my way. The service here is incredible. We moved from Bountiful down to West Valley and I still drove up to this station despite there being one just down the street. I walked in without an appointment and the service technician said it would take about an hour. They finished in around 45 minutes. I was very impressed.

Very great experience! Shopped around to several different garages was quoted between two hundred and five hundred dollars more for brakes and rotors on the front and rear of my Chevy Tahoe. I was told by two garages that I needed calipers, I called Point S and he was up front with me and told me a lot of times they stick and just need to be cleaned and lubed that alone impressed me! Great place to go. My daughter found them and has been using them for years . She loves how they treat her, the service and the price. I had used Burt Brithers for the last 20 years and was hesitant to change.I had a problem with my F150. I called Burt Brothers and got a quote of $95 to check the problem and 2 days a d $459 to fix it.I decided to call Point S. From the start I was surprised by the friendly, helpful service. They said they couldnt give a quote, until they had looked at and verified the problem. They told me that there were generally 1 of 3 things that could cause the problem and they would gave a general quote for each.I dropped the car over night. At 8:30 they called to say that they had found the problem and gave 2 options on the repair. Repairs were completed in a couple of hours and the actual price was slightly less than the quote. They reminded me of the old Burt Brothers.I should have listened to my daughter years ago.

Needed some new tires, Paul got us in and out within 30 minutes.

They truly look out for their customers. They are honest and friendly. Highly recommended.

I like that Paul takes into account the age and condition of my cars when he makes suggestions on repairs. I’ve been to other mechanics who want to fix every little thing, when that doesn’t usually make sense on an older car with lots of miles on it.

Great shop. skilled mechanics. honest service.and just to let you know dont take your head rebuilds to the company you where using anymore. they sublet to Metric Motors and it only costs them 1/4 of what they charge you. call metric motors and find out just how bad they ripped you off for work they dont do themselves. very dishonest peope over there. they also charge customers $3000-$5000 dollars for a new trans and are secretly rebuilding them instead. they have a class action lawsuit underway against them. we need to protect customers from themkeep up the good work!

TERRIFIC locally owned tire and service center.They have been my go-to for dozens of various ATVs, trailers, daily vehicles, and collector cars, over the years. They are competitively priced, have a good location, and have outstanding customer service.

Replacing the cover incorrectly is super easy on an 02 forester.They will take care of you, if it is beyond them they know someone who can.I 100% recommend this shop, and these mechanics.

I just purchased two tires today from them I was quoted more than the posted price on their web site for the tires that I bought. I agreed to the price rather than hassle it The new tires were supposed to go on the front of the car and the front tires were to be rotated to the rear of the car. WARNING! Mismanaged buisness. Dont waste your time! At 1:10 this afternoon, I called this company to see if they could get me in. I realized I was calling a little later in the day, (they closed at 4:00) and would have been fine if they had said they were swamped. Nope, Paul said they had an open bay and could get me in if I could get there right then. Over the phone I also gave him a description of the problem, and he said it would probably take them an hour. I was happy, everything was great! I immediately took my car in and handed Brian the key. He said they were busy and they might not get to it for a while. Still okay, I just needed to know what needed to be done and if it couldnt get done today, that was what I had expected. I could work around not having a car. 2 1/2 hours later, no phone call, and it was past 3:00. I was still wondering what was wrong with my car and was not sure if I was going to need to find alternative transportation for the weekend and for work on Monday. So, I called. Paul was again very gracious and asked if Brian could call me back. Brian was in a meeting of some sort. That was fine, I just needed information. At 3:20, there was still no phone call, and they closed at 4:00. I call again, Brian was still in the meeting. At this time, I was getting a little anxious. What was wrong with my car? Brian calls back at 3:25, and they have still not pulled my car into the bay and looked at it. So, I just went and picked it up. This companys miscommunication for asking me to come right then, then not calling me about not getting to it before the weekend makes me a little upset. I could have taken it somewhere else and not wasted my time, which is what I will do in the future.

I have been dealing with this particular Point S since the inception of their business. More specifically, Paul has kept me as a customer for about 9 years. The owner, Wade, has always been friendly and courteous, as well as Brian and staff. Yes, the prices are fair and the service is exceptional. Let me tell you what you wont get from their competitors. Every now and then you may get stuck somewhere in that one off circumstance and you wont believe it when they are willing to bail you out of trouble on their own time, as well as their own dime. No, you cant expect a person or entity to do that all the time. Furthermore, it wasnt even me that they did it for. I have personally witnessed on more than one occasion where Paul and Brian have both left after hours to help others that had no way to get their vehicles to the shop due to other locations being closed as well as other extenuating circumstances. I will always buy my tires from Paul andBrian regardless of the cost, and they are competitive, it just so happens they represent POINT S!

The guys at Bountiful Tire Factory were great. The service was quick and the prices very fair. I used to go to chain shops but I think Ill be going back to the guys at the tire factory for as long as Im in the Bountiful area.
