I just recently purchased a Nissan Murano from Todd Bernicky at Hove Nissan. I can honestly say I no longer hate car shopping! Todd really listened and went above and beyond to find me the right car. From the original test drive to the final financing, everyone at Hove, including Terry, was extremely professional and polite. I was charged for a oil change and tire rotation. When I left I quickly discovered my tires were never checked for air pressure or rotated. When I brought the car back in the service manager first tried to tell me that I was wrong and had not drove far enough. However when he went and talked to the mechanics he came over asked for the keys to my car. He handed them over to the mechanic and with out saying anything went in to the office for the rest of the time I was there. The mechanic pulled the car in rotated and aired up the tires after he was done pulled the car up to me got out and all he said was The keys are in the car.Being charged for work that was not completed is theft. How do I know the oil was even changed in the car. I have brought my car in the last 4.5 years for all the service that has been done and now I start thinking what other work did they say they did and didnt but charged me for it? I am done with Hove Nissan and plan will tell anyone that I can to stay away from Hove Nissan and its dubious business practices.In response to the dealership: So if the tires were rotated when I brought the car back they rotated them a second time? I watched as they rotated the tires and added air to the one that was 6 pounds low. Rather then admitting the truth you are still lying and trying to make your customer look bad. I am sure you have a video system please look at that and see that you have employees that are lying to you.

Purchased my 2016 nissan maxima from here a little over a year ago. I am so lucky to have purchased from this dealership they really treat you like family and actually dont rip you off unlike other dealerships. The service dept is my fave! Always honest about anything my car needs taking a look at.

Just bought a used truck from them. Had been doing research for weeks and simply resigned myself to having to buy a truck that didnt have everything I want as they are just so expensive now. Then I came across a listing at Hove. The truck was exactly what I wanted for a price that was $1000-$1700 lower than similar cars elsewhere. Of course I thought it must be a scam. But theyre an actual dealer as opposed to all of these other dealers that sell auction cars and those vehicles are a nightmare waiting to happen. So i go and meet with Jim, one of the salespeople, and the Pickup is beyond my expectations. Fully loaded and in really good condition. I asked why was it priced so low and he simply shrugged and said our owners mantra is to sell a good product, make a modest profit and treat people well. In all my years of car buying Ive never had an easier time or felt more comfortable. I wish more dealers were like Hove Nissan. The car selling business would have a much better reputation.

Good service I was in and out in a hour.

My siblings and I leased a 2016 Rogue from this dealership for our elderly mother in 2016 until 2019. The entire process was done over the phone because I live in Minnesota, therefore my Mother only had to pick up the vehicle and sign for it. Weve leased vehicles for our mother the last 12 years and found Hove Nissan process to be ok the first time around with only minor hiccups. When it was time to lease a 2019 Rogue the lease price went up an additional $100 per month with an additional deposit down despite the fact that were a returning customer which I found to be weird. Because of the increase in price we decided to look at other dealers and found better offers with Toyota and Honda. Mom lost one of the keys so we had to purchase a new one. It was stated that a key guys comes to the dealer every Tuesday to make keys and the prices were $150-180. Once it was determined that we were NOT going to use Hove Nissan, the price of the key rose to $300+ if not turned in with lease. Because our Mother liked the Rogue and expressed interest in getting the same one if possible, I made one last attempt to contact the finance manager whom stated he would try to get a better deal to keep my Mother in a Nissan. I didnt hear from the manager for several days so I decided to contact him. The manager stated that he was out the office for a few days and the original salesman was suppose to reach out to me. He also stated that he tried to get a better deal but was unable too, therefore we decided to go with another dealership. The first experience working with Nissan was a good experience but the release process were not a pleasant one and Ill will not be working with this dealership in the future nor will i recommend them to others.

The guys at Hove are the best! My car died on my in June, and they did everything they could to help immediately! Ivan Garcia is a great guy, he and Dennis handled everything for me. They were so patient with me and so informative! I didnt feel overwhelmed or feel like they were pushing me! Once I had chosen the car, Ivan handled all the finance paperwork for me...all I had to do was go sign the papers! No headache, no bs, no run-around!

Terrible place and terrible experience x2, yes twice. Seth was the backbone of most of the failure, but even when he ran my credit 2 diffrent times, which were spider webbed out to way more creditors than need, he was still unable to get me in anything even with decent credit and $1000 down. Will never be back there and would never recommend this place to anyone unless you want your credit to go to waste and lots of time. Id give it 0 if i could.Update: yeah I did not like the payment at first but then I called you back told you that payment would work you ran my credit again then told me I had to pay twice after running my credit absurdly amount of times. I arrived at the Service Dept. and was greeted right away by Josh, Service Advisor who brought my car in to have the oil changed and Multi-Point Inspection done, while that was being done I waited in their waiting room where they had Hot Coffee, Hot Chocolate, and Fresh Popcorn for their customers. The staff was very Friendly as well as professional with answering questions I had. The service was fast I was in & out about 25 minutes.

Hove is one of, if not the top dealership when it comes to honesty and integrity. Matt was such a helpful and knowledgeable salesman, without being super pushy like some. And Terry in finance is basically a wizard, seriously. Great car, great price, iffy service. The salesman (Seth) gave off a bad vibe, he came off as a bigot. It was clear that waiting on me was a chore for him. The sale couldnt have been easier for him, we test drove the vehicle and handed him a check. He didnt have to explain the features of the vehicle or anything, test drove and purchased and he couldnt have been more unpleasant. The receptionist was way more cordial, so was another gentleman I assume to be a manager. Ive had my vehicle for three months, no problems, no issues, really a great vehicle Im very happy with it. I recommend this place but if youre AA, you may want to avoid this guy.

Yes, I have a Nissan vehicle. I love it. I always had Chevy or Dodge (my wife drives a Chevy) but I went Nissan this time. I purchased my Nissan from another dealer about 35 miles from Hove and I have since moved closer to Hove than the other dealer. Hove Nissan is more than just a car dealership. Theyre a great asset to our area for a number of reasons.First, for almost a decade, Ive been referring everyone who asks me that question... who should I buy a car from? to Ivan Garcia when Im asked, which is actually quite often. Its not because were friends. Its because if I send them to him, I know hell do right by them. I dont like to give bad recommendations.Next, outside the dealership, Ive seen Hove Nissan do a lot of things for charity, including help us reopen the childrens safety center in 2010 and sponsor events that were put on by our local Park District.I am not in the car business. Im in the opposite one, the bar business. I have a small live music club in Bradley called The Looney Bin. Now, those two industries, the car/bat rarely ever cross each other in a positive way, but, there is an exception! Were known for bringing some pretty big bands to our area. The truth is that without sponsors like Hove Nissan, bands like Local H and American Aquarium may have never set foot in Bradley. We may get the credit, but make no mistake about it, we have help.Going to a dealership can be scary. There are a lot of sketchy people out there in that industry, just like mine.
