Had a blow out on rv. Called them. They had the tire we needed. Went the next morning. Guy changed out the tire on the rim immediately. In and out in 10 minutes! Awesome!
We were on a long road trip in our Motorhome. When we ran over something in the Highway and blew out the back inside dual tire. We pretty much new a day or two was lost along with lots of cash. We limped into Whalen tire. Not only did they find me a great looking used Michelin tire the right size they got us back on the road in an hour. What a great place and great people. Give them a try.
Ran into some noisy squeaky brakes while traveling thru Bozeman. Just had the brakes replaced all the way around 5000 miles ago. NAPA shop near by told me 3 weeks and to try Whalen tires. So I did. Was kindly greeted and asked what troubles I was having. Told him the situation and he was glad to help out. Took my truck back and had the brakes checked and cleaned. That is great service. No issues anymore so must have been dust or rock cause the noisy brakes. 120 miles later still going good. Thanks to all the guys at the shop. Thats extremely quality service and it is greatly appreciated.
I dont even want to know what that is in the picture
Helped us out with our motorhome tire problem on a very short notice. Thanks!
I would not recommend Whalen Tire in Bozeman. Even though there is a state mask mandate and a sign on the door that tells people to wear masks, not one employee was wearing a mask and none of the other customers were either. I went there to fix a flat, which took over an hour, as the man who came in behind me was served first. When my tire was finally finished, the woman manning the counter could not tell me where my vehicle was, as it was not out front. Turns out, they never brought it out of the bay. I am a handicapped woman, and the servicers expected me to just clomp around with my cane, looking for my car. I have just moved to Bozeman and I am looking for a good tire place, as I really miss Les Schwab, but I think I will just drive to Butte now to go to Les Schwab rather than put up with the nonsense I had to on Thursday, September 17th.
Got a new tire pit on a rim here! Was a good experience! Cant complain! I recommend them if you are just traveling through a need a tire done!
Fast, well stocked, had what I needed and me and my travel trailer back on the road in 30 minutes. Awesome! Thanks, Whalen! 🤙🖖✌️
Wow just awful. Patched my tire wrong and told me my brakes were fine when they weren’t at all. Go anywhere else
WOW! What a great experience I had at Whalen Tire in Bozeman. I was referred to Johnny, the Manager, by a friend and I was so impressed with his customer service, chipper attitude, and knowledge! He helped me find the right tire for me and my lifestyle and at an affordable rate. The entire staff was extremely friendly and it was obvious customer satisfaction and safety is at the top of their priority list. I have nothing but amazing things to say about my experience and would highly recommend anyone to Whalen Tires.
Friendly and quick service, and very affordable prices.
Rude unprofessional staff who act like they dont need your business. The main guy Mike conveniently doesnt remember conversations after a few hours. When my new tires were put on, they never called me to pick up my car. That perfectly describes the customer service quality at Whalen. I would recommend any other business - Toyota Dealership, Big O, and Costco are top of my list!
Ten oit of ten would recommend! Great service and great people
Very rude, and unhelpful.
I had an amazing experience with Whalen Tires. I had a flat tire and got roadside assistance within 20 minutes of calling. After my spare was put on, I went in 30 minutes before close. I got my tire patched within 15 minutes. Staff was extremely helpful and nice!
Always good service and they listen.
Just called to ask for prices and specials. The man that answered wasnt friendly in his tone nor did he answer my questions. I asked for pricing and he said to bring it in and then theyll get me a quote, then immediately hung up! He acted as if it wasnt his concern that he just lost a sale. The first thing about business is... there is no business if you act like you dont need the business!
Whalen is always a good place. They are a bit pricey but do excellent work. Got a set of users tires there a couple years ago. Good price and really goid tires.
When you have a toddler things can always get stressful, but throw car trouble in the mix and it is even worse. The staff here was so friendly, especially to our kid. I have always liked there service, but my most recent experience was the best.
I called ahead of Time to make an appointment and to make sure they had plenty of time to put my winter tires on. My tires are 37in and I understand they can take a little longer. They said they had the time and could do the dismounts and mounts for me. After they where done I didnt even get out of their driveway before a load grinding came from the front of the truck. The sticky weights they used got jammed between my wheel and the brake caliper. Brought truck straight back to shop. They pulled the one tire off and put on the hammer on weights to fix the one front tire that was grinding. They did not fix any of the others. All the way home I could hear the stick on weights catching in between the rotors and the wheels. To make matters worse none of the tires pressures where close to the same or the recommended pressures. And had a difference of 10 psi between all four. I could not believe it. My tire system alarm way going off saying no reading on one tire and a 10 psi difference between the other 3. When I was unloaded tires out of my truck when I got home. I found the 4th pressure sensor In one of the tires that had been removed. So that was why I had no reading on the one tire because they did not put it back in!!.they charged me $100. For this experience. Now I will have to pay someone else to properly balance all of my tires again and put in the pressure sensor they left out. Horrible experience will never take anything there again!
Called trying to get a tire fixed on my tow truck, as I was asking the tech a question he tells me he is to busy today and hangs up on me. Just remember your not the only tire store in Bozeman!
Came out and replaced my uhaul trailers tire in under an hour from when I called! Excellent service! Santiago deserves a raise!
Amazing friendly staff.. Quick knowledgeable staff.
Friendly staff- quickly repaired a flat at a very reasonable price!
Daughter purchased tire three weeks ago, front wheel lost 4 lug nuts traveling down the interstate and almost had the tire come off. It was barely held on by one loose lug nut. She was heading home from spring break back to Bozeman. Talked to an associate and he said they would have to look at the problem to determine whether it was an error on their part. He said it would need to be towed from Drummond to Missoula or Butte. Then they could make an assesssment. The person I talked to said they do always tighten their lug nuts properly. He doubted that was the reason.I had worked in a tire store for 2 years while in college, lug nuts do not come loose on their own. I believe they were not seated properly. Luckily she did not lose the tire at 80 mph down the interstate. Got a mechanic in Drummond to replace lost lugs and tighten them. Wheel holes are bored out a little. Feel like it would be futile to have the facility make it right after talking to someone from the store. Luckily had family nearby to help out.
Friendly staff, Quick and reasonably priced.
I was having the worst possible week ever, just on vacation and of course my calipers seized the day before I was supposed to leave. After replacing my calipers (myself) my breaks werent bled right along with my e break not tight. I took my car in hoping they would help me out sense everyone was a week out and I was already 5 days late leaving. They immediately got my car on a lift bled my breaks checked my work on the calipers and tightened my break lines. They charged me an extremely fair price and were the nicest people I had the pleasure of working with to get my car fixed. I am extremely thankful for them and all they did to help.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! Go to Big O TIres on 7th. Johnny, the manager, and his crew do not have the equipment to work on Tire Pressure Measurement Systems. That means if you have a vehicle newer than 2007, they cannot properly install or rotate your tires. They failed to mention this to me before I purchased my tires. They installed them, but put the wrong rims on and screwed up my pressure sensors. I went back the next day and Johnny charged me $30 to fix it. I ended up going to Big O Tires, who fixed my sensors without charging me. Go to Big O. Whalen doesnt deserve your business.
Not happy my truck still shakes at 45 mph. Took it there twice still cant get tires balanced right. They say its a mechanical problem. Funny thing is it didnt shake like that with the old tires which were on it two days before I brought it to them. What a waste of 40 dollars
Had a flat tire on a 4wheeler plow trailer in the middle of a big snow storm. They were super busy on a saturday and were able to get me back rolling in under 30 minutes! Absolutely awesome service. (For comparison, 2 other tire shops told me too f-ing bad, come back monday) Thank you guys!
Bad attitude toward customer. Paid handsomely for an alignment.. a month later the front tires with only 20,000 total miles on em worn down to steel belts. Took it back and asked them to Recheck their alignment job. ... the mgr complained that it was likely the cars fault... was NOT anxious to check it out, wanted me to keep driving, bring back next week! Finally got em to double check the alignment. Same Tech found they did screw it up previously. Had to replace all 4 tires. They made me PAY for two vs putting it on their biz insurance for mistake made in their shop, and said as I left, Still think your car has issues and ruined the tires. Guess What? 10,000 and 2 rotations later at a much nicer Tire Dealer in Bozeman...it WAS NOT the car...it was Whalens fault. DONT TRUST WHALEN TIRE in Bozeman.
Exceptional work ethics and exceptional customer service..
Usually quick good service, prices are in the high side.
Make sure the next time I bring in my truck for you to repair a flat that you actually patch the flat. Was charged $76 dollars and my tire is flat again.....I knew it wasnt done.
I came in with a flat tire and they had me patched up with the new tire on in 20 minutes for 20 bucks.
Immediate service, courteous people, good price. Thank you Whalen!
Horrible, rude, non-helping service. Big-O is where its at
Very quick and friendly!
Use this company quite a bit
$26.00 to fix a nail in a tire. Ouch!
They always help me out.
After Costco said a 5 hour wait to help patch a hole they said come in and immediately helped out as we’re traveling from Colorado to whitefish. Thank you!!!
Excellent service.
They treated me well and got the job done in a timely manner.
Horrible customer service.
