Beautiful building with the exposed red brick. They had a variety of latte flavors, some Id never heard of before. They have oatmilk which was great. My friend got a slow brew and he said it was wonderful. We didnt get a chance to try any of their pastries/sandwiches, but they sounded delicious. The atmosphere was very chill and nostalgic with the antiques and mismatched furniture. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this place!
Excellent Iced Mocha. Cant get myself to try anything else its so good. Poptarts are excellent. Love the spot. Baristas are really nice. Great music piped through.
The Americano I got was terrible: thin and very bitter. The chai tea/latte is very good. Atmosphere is relaxed. Has outdoor seating for nice weather. Good place to stop while seeing downtown.
Should I drive 30 minutes out of my way to get a carmelized onion & goat cheese avocado toast? Oh yes. And Ill bring my kids for some baked goods too. Theres outdoor seating too.
They freeze and microwave their danishes. I literally waited for 15 mins for a microwaves danish. There coffee is great. Light roasted. But the customer experience was lacking. I ask about the coffee and the barista mumbled back something unintelligible.Fresh from the freezer to you. Hope you have 15 minutes to wait while we microwave it :(
Ok. I was surprised how small the egg muffin was, but the coffee was decent, which is uncommon in the US
I love this place. Every time I visit my daughter and her family, I come here at least once and usually several times. The slo bru coffee is good and their snacks are satisfying, and I love the older building they are in with the slightly dilapidated interior.
Favorite coffee shop in B/CS! The baristas know my order and are always in a good mood. Their lavender latte is unmatched!
I had a latte and blueberry bread today. Both were delicious. The bread was rich in flavor, not too sweet, nutty, tasted so good.
Delicious coffee, treats and food in general. Quiet atmosphere. Very efficient for online pick up orders.
Their lattes are really tasty, but way too sweet so I suggest asking for half sweet. I love the vibe of the place. It always feels clean and classy, and the service is excellent. If you ask for suggestions, the baristas are good about recommending something for your tastes. My biggest complaint is a lack of outlets to plug in computers, and their chairs are very uncomfortable. Its almost like they dont want you to stay very long ;) Overall, a good place to meet up with somebody or get a little bit of work done if you arent planning to stay more than three hours.
Really great coffee! They use Amaya’s Roasting Co out of Houston. Decent espresso, and really good assortment of teas! Homemade pop tarts are SO GOOD!
Great coffee & great service! Tell McKenna @mymidlifehaitus said hello!
The service is excellent and they are all very kind! As for coffee, it is some of the best in the Bryan/College Station area with a wide variety of brewing methods and sweet coffee drinks. Their food and pastry selection provides a good variety of café style options with adequate portion sizes and affordable pricing. My wife and I frequent this fun little spot in town.
Went in to get two mochas to go. Place was cute but service was lacking. They were not out right rude to us but not friendly. Coffee was HORRIBLE. I threw mine away.....tasted like dirty water had been used and it was very bitter. The owner needs to step in and train employees to treat customers like they are glad they are there and retrain on how to make coffees.
The staff is knowledgeable, fast, and very friendly. The atmosphere is rustic and homey, with a touch of your average coffee shop. Honestly one of my favorite places to go get coffee.
Wonderful food, atmosphere and kind staff. Cant wait to go back.
They have some of the best coffee Ive ever had. And the baristas were very friendly.
We met my daughter for brunch at 3rd on main and she was running late. We walked down and had a drink here. So glad we did! I had the Harvest Latte with half and half, this was a creamy vanilla explosion of flavor served extra hot. The workers were inviting and pleasant. Highly recommend we will go every time in Bryan.
I will always go out of my way on a road trip to get a good cup of coffee, and this place definitely hit the mark. I love the interior, and the staff was absolutely lovely. Great cup of coffee and wonderful carrot bread!
I ordered a butterscotch iced coffee which I’ve ordered before but this time it was chunky and undrinkable. When I went back to address the issue I received terrible customer service and just a blank stare with no resolution to the issue except claiming that it was the “butterscotch” which I know for a fact isn’t true when I’ve had the drink before. Will not be going back.
The crew is always friendly, helpful when trying to decide what to get, and creative when I say I just dunno and they ask, well, wut do you like and NOT like and put together creations that are PURRFECT!! Joining their club is easy, and when using Google Pay, it remembers the membership and adds the points which helps during COVID when 1 doesnt wanna fiddle with remembering to tell the gal/bud or entering in phone numbers
Staff was awesome. Coffee even better.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this coffee bar! Excellent staff, cozy environment and the coffee is always spot on. Great place to meet prospective clients or just visit with your friends. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice!
The environment is cozy, the music is lively but also at a comfortable volume for anybody there to study. They have a wide variety of coffee drinks to chose from and their deserts are very good. I recommend trying the adult grilled cheese, its delicious!
Great place to have coffee!
Great little coffee shop. The outdoor seating area is clean and peaceful with a nice view of downtown. The butterscotch latte was fantastic. Limited outlets but still a great place to study!
A rustic little shop located in downtown Bryan. Little work has been done to the inside of the building so you can easily see much of the original interior. They have a food menu as well as a coffee menu. Coffees are made to order which takes more time than a simple pour.We visited early morning on a Saturday before a Childrens Festival. There was a mix of customers with a cheerful vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered regular coffee and a mocha which were very nice. We sat by the windows and enjoyed our coffees as the sun filtered in.
Went with my husband Today for a Cuban Sandwich, and two Cortados. The Cuban Sandwich Id rate with a 2.5 at most, it had very Little Pernil, no pickles and way too much brown mustard on it and it was just not satisfying. The two coffees were absolutely hideous, they need to check the original recipe and try to stay true to it, if not then just dont advertise it as Cuban because its misleading. The coffee was extremely bitter, we couldnt drink them.
Awesome place, excellent coffee, and very friendly staff.
I highly recommend the iced Candlelight coffee, its amazing! The staff here is always friendly and helpful.
My wife and I and our 1 year old were at first Friday, my son had a dirty diaper and they didn’t let us use the restroom to change it. It was the only empty place around and I didn’t know why until this happened
This little coffee shop is AWESOME! It has a great local feel and the baristas are extremely personable. Its a nice place to relax and study or to meet with a friend and it is located right on main street in downtown Bryan. The inside is rustic in that they seemed to leave the building in its historic condition and they filled it with tables and chairs. This gives it charm and a light airy feel about it. The drinks are incredible and the coffee is smooth. They are constantly working on making their own new flavors for new syrups. Last I was there they said they were working on their own lavender syrup. Hopefully well see that on the menu soon. Cute place, great drinks, wonderful experience every time.
Harvest is the best ever! I love this locally owned business. Super cute location and their Japanese cold brew is to die for!
Good coffee
I really wanted to like this place, especially being in downtown Bryan, but when we were there the cashier couldnt make any coffee suggestions for us (she seemed unknowledgable). We ordered 2 coffees and waited for like 10 mins for our coffees. They called out our drinks but another couple grabbed them before we could. I was confused, since we had ordered before them. Turns out both our orders were under the same name. After we finally got our drinks, they were so bland and coffee-less, we couldnt even finish them. My husbands coffee wasnt even fully mixed, there was a bunch of gritty stuff (which I imagine is the chocolate mix they use) in his coffee. Disappointed!
Ive been to Harvest a few times since they opened, and their coffee is consistently not bitter, which I really appreciate and enjoy. The coconut latte is my favorite, iced or hot, but I decided to try something different today. I got the mocha coconut iced latte and was kind of disappointed. It listed hacing chocolate in it, but it has cocoa powder, which settles to the bottom and leaves a powdery film in your mouth. It would be much better with some form of chocolate syrup. I will definitely stick to just the coconut from now on.
The baristas are super friendly and its a very clean space. Has a very relaxed environment and plenty of spots to study. The tables are large like desks that give you room to spread out. The coffee is also top notch. You can taste to quality of the ingredients. Overall super hipstery and rustic vibe. Would recommend.
Order some Chemex and a slice of coffee cake to go while making a long drive. Coffee was great. Cake was hard and bit cold, but it was 8:30pm on a Sunday. Otherwise nice place that Ill visit again when Im in town.
This is a great place for all you coffee lovers! Located in historic Down Town Bryan, and in a historic building, Harvest Coffee Bar has a unique historic setting. Very cozy and laid back. If Im not mistaking there is wifi available so you can take your work or home work with you while you enjoy a great cup of joe. If you havent been here yet then it is a must go. So get over there.
Bare bones, no frills, great little place. Would be even better if they sold liquor.
Im not an artisan coffee shop kind of guy, but that regular black coffee was GOOD. I dont fit in with the demographics of other customers, but Ill be back.
OK, you found it - the best coffee in Bryan (and maybe even further afield). The space is beautiful and interesting and comfortable; the staff are friendly and helpful; the menu is excellent. I tried both a cold brew and later a hibiscus tea (comes with a free refill!) and loved them both. Quiche for breakfast was fabulous. Lovely place to sit and chill or to work. Highly recommended.
My family and I visit all coffee spots in the B/CS area often. We have enjoyed Harvest coffee for years but the service is really so unfriendly. One or more of us have been three times since they started to open again post pandemic and every time we comment about how un-welcoming the baristas are and as if they really wish we were not there. The coffee is fine but it isn’t really a happy place.
This is a great coffee shop in downtown Bryan with a cool feel. Great coffee, snacks and atmosphere. We come here often, and we will continue to visit.
Nice place. Staff is really friendly.
This is a positively excellent coffee shop, and it is definitely my favorite place to go Im downtown Bryan. Its got a great ambiance for studying or relaxing, comfortable seats, and best of all it has some amazing coffee! Try the Harvest Latte, it is an amazing experience.
What a cute little spot in downtown Bryan. Their staff was incredibly helpful and knew all their products like it was second nature. Custom orders seem to be no issue, and the aesthetics and atmosphere cant be beaten. Ill be coming back her again soon, thats for sure.
Ordered the leek & sweet potato sandwich and it was delicious. Also got the honeybee coffee. It was also yummy. Coffee was sweet with a citrus flavor. Spent $11.75. Nice staff. Quiet. Historic building. I highly recommend it.
Harvest is a great local coffee shop and its location in Downtown Bryan is folksy. There arent a ton of drink options but all the basic coffees and teas are offered. Harvest offers a few food options so this is a good place to come and study. Be warned: Theres not a lot of space, so seating is limited. The echo inside the coffee shop is loud, so you may want to bring headphones.
Really good coffee and friendly service.
Great chill atmosphere. Good place to work and meet with others. With less college students than most local coffee spots, its a great escape from the young college environment. Simple and high quality coffee and drinks. Prices tend to be higher than most coffee shops.
Nice small coffee shop with nice staff. The coffee is average and I wouldnt say their known for their food. It is in an old building in downtown Bryan so it has character but does not lead itself to people who want to socialize. Still this place is still worth a come and see. Im always for supporting local business!
Anytime we are close to Bryan we are sure to stopby here. Its a quaint spot with great coffee. Super friendly staff and great drinks. This is top 2 coffee places ever. If you are in college station or Bryan do yourself a favor and go to Downtown Bryan and have a great cup of coffee in a really cool place
Tell Trey hello, he works his tail off and his wife has some great recipes!
Visited this popular spot in Bryan on their first Friday event. Obviously, it was super crowded and still had a very welcoming, warm feel to it. The walls have a run-down look but it gives them a character I think.I tried their hot chocolate (yum!) and their blue crane tea which could have used a bit more honey (but it might just be be me). Looks like a promising place to grab a cup of coffee and get cranking on all that procrastinated writing work.
Terrible experience! Asked for steamed almond milk only and they charged me for a full latte. Then they burned the almond milk to the point where I burned my tongue by barely sipping on it. The manager didnt seem to care much either. Not happy with the customer service. Cant say anything about their drinks.
I dont think Ive ever had a bad experience at Harvest. The people are friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the coffee is good :) I was a little annoyed when they started requiring codes for their WiFi, but honestly, it probably makes it a lot faster since all of downtown Bryan isnt using it haha Sometimes their iced drinks end up with sugar at the bottom, but thats just the struggle of getting an iced drink with sugar...its hard to make it dissolve!
The best and most consistent cup of coffee in B/CS. Unfortunately, its also the slowest cup of coffee in B/CS. Waiting 10-12 minutes for an americano has become commonplace. The bar is incredibly inefficient and cant handle more than a couple drinks at a time. It backs up very quickly. The staff is always incredibly accommodating, though.
Cozy little coffee shop in downtown Bryan. My wife and I ordered the harvest latte and it was great!
Cool atmosphere, good coffee.
Great coffee. Staff was friendly and quick. The interior was interesting. Sat outside. All in all great experience.. Will try some off their tea next time.
Coffees are always excellent, bakery is fair. Service is excellent but you have to be patient. Facility is quaint. Dog friendly outside.
I love this place!!! One of my most favorite places to go. My husband and I come here all the time!!! They have so many flavors!!!
Harvest coffe bar was a great small town rustic coffee bar. Pastries were great and coffee good. There were a lot of college students studying, solo, and taking up 4 top tables. They should incorporate a large group study table and leave the 4 tops to groups.
This place just served one of the best cups of coffee I have ever had and it was only $2.50. Harvest coffee bar offers several different coffee offerings including cold brewed coffee. Beans are fresh ground for every cup ordered. Fresh made sandwiches are also offered but I havent tried them. If you are a coffee snob check this place out, its the best in the city.
Reusable cups not welcome.I have my own tumbler and they wont fill it due to unsanitary concerns. But if you drink coffee there with a ceramic cup belonging to the housr you can refill it. These folks are idiots.Needing coffee, I purchased coffee in a disposable 12oz cup, they tried to pour the coffee into my tumbler and spilled a bunch and wouldnt top it off.Never going back here again even though the coffee tastes good.
Four stars because I have to rate based on all my past experiences. I have been to better. However, this is a very nice place, great atmosphere, typical Beatnik staff and $5 lattes. Great cofffee and even offer a low acid cold brew.
Bhs orchestra concert...wonderful music n great accomplishment
I have come here for studying/working for a few years (it’s on my BCS cafe rotation) and it’s one of my favorite places to go. I love their chai lattes and masala chai lattes, and envy the espresso drinks I see getting served up to others. The service is always super fast and friendly, and the wifi is always working. There are outlets lining the wall for laptops and there is a nice “community” atmosphere among the patrons. I like the decor (kind of a “beautiful destruction” vibe) and the cupware because it reminds me of soviet buildings that have been adapted for cafes in eastern European countries. It does have limited seating on weekends, but I am always willing to drive to downtown Bryan and see if there’s a spot there before driving anywhere else.
All Ive tried is their espresso, which is delicious. Much sweeter than Starbucks with the same kick. Its hard to tell walking up to the entrance, but they are open at 7am.
A quaint little coffee shop in downtown Bryan. The inside has exposed brick and wires. It’s darker than most coffee shops, but it gives it a homey vibe. A wide variety of coffees - but no caramel syrup. They have an interesting coffee brewer that is brewed for 24 hours I think. They serve it in a smaller cup since it’s so caffeinated.
The wifi is only available if you buy something which is reasonable I guess, but you can only use it on one device and for a limited time, which I think shows that they dont really care about their customers. Also seating is incredibly limited.
Delicious! I had a specialty cappuccino (the vanilla one) and my boyfriend had an americano. Both very very good! It is a nice little location in downtown Bryan with a nice view of the street. It was the only coffee shop we could find that wasnt super crowded on the Sunday morning of move in weekend. It was so quiet and cozy and we didnt feel rushed to get out of there.
Loved the way they kept the old brick walls. Good coffee and quiche.
Delicious coffee and food. Great atmosphere. Warm and friendly staff.
