Coffee Code makes me happy! The watermelon slush they had was awesome, it tasted like it was just the fruit and it was fresh and sweet. I typically get an iced vanilla latte and I LOVE that they do coffee ice cubes! It’s an incredible touch, I like to savor my coffee but I hate it when the ice waters it down. With their coffee ice cubes, your last sip will taste just as amazing as your first. It’s brilliant! And the staff has always been very kind, even though once I came in right before closing (which I hate to do, but couldn’t avoid it that time.) This is definitely my go-to place when I’m in the area.
This coffee shop is cozy and quiet. Located in the same plaza as Odori Sushi. I wanted something warm...so Chai Latte...hit the spot. My friend had the Mocha Smoothie. There are plenty of seating areas inside and outside.
Finally a coffee shop open during quarantine! I came in and there was no one in the shop except two employees (made me feel safe during lockdown, honestly). I got good vibes from the shop- cute interior and very roomy for people to drink coffee and chill when its safe to go out and have fun again! I loved their menu selection and got a hazelnut latte. Done in about 3 minutes. Tasted delicious and I love their concept of iced coffee cubes, keeps the coffee flavor instead of it being watered down! Staff was very friendly! Paid about $5 which is very standard. Also got some coffee cake- tasted amazing! This place is totally worth to come check out, so give it a go!
Clean location, good coffee, friendly staff! Check it out
This is AMAZING. I’m on a road trip and we randomly decided to stop here and give it a go and I’m so glad we did. I’m sad there’s not a location near me!! Best latte I’ve ever had and they even had coffee ice so when it melted it didn’t water down my drink.
My son and I stopped in the other day and it was a GREAT idea! I had the Banana and he had the Spanish latte and Tiffany and Aaron made them to perfection and with a smile 😃 We frequently try different coffee places and this is a definite return for us! Thank you both for making such delicious coffee and a great attitude, see you soon 😊
This place is the best. Started coming here for the waffles and then decided to try a coconut latte per a friends suggestion. I do not drink coffee, but that coconut latte (with extra coconut) was absolutely delicious. Will be coming back here as often as I can
This place is one of top cafe Ive been here in CA. The coffee was a bit on bitter in a tasty way. Ambience is nice and quite roomy.Wi-Fi is free but not the strongest especially when everybody is trying to use it.Parking place is easy to find. Prices are decent and all the staff are kind and looks professional. Would return~!
I love this place! The coffee is amazing! If you get any kind of cold coffee the ice cubes that they use are made of coffee! Everything is delicious and its not intimidating if youre used to the bigger green chain. They even brew loose leaf tea to order. Yum. Its a little hard to find but worth it.
Impressive list of specialty coffees and beverages that keep the experience fresh. To top it off... these waffles were perfectly crunchy with a comforting warm soft interior. Like sitting on a plush airy couch. Paired with an eiskaffee .. a delicious pairing of ice cream and coffee with the added jolt of an espresso. If you have the time, order, hang out, have a seat, and take a moment to savor their menu options and enjoy a unique experience.
Great, friendly service and quality coffee and pastries. Chill vibes
They take their coffee seriously and it shows.Even the detail of using frozen coffee instead of regular ice in their cold drinks is such a nice touch!
What a great place. I also found this place while i was driving by. It is great and more customer oriented. I feel welcomed and truly a great experience. Now the food plus coffee, fabulous! Really delicious. I extremely recommend it and support this business.
I stumbled upon this nice little cafe meeting a friend here and I tend to stop in whenever im in the area. Its not a very big place but tastefully decorated. The service is good they usually will greet you as you enter the door. The tables are quite small and it tends to get loud or at least you can hear the conversations of those around you.I usually go with the hot cappuccino along with the Honey Bread and they are both good with the honey bread coming in at $6.
Love the coffee here. Very different in flavor than most coffee places. I love coming here when I am in the area. Must try :)
Good products, terribly slow service. Waited over 30min for a large Americano.
Loved the experience very kind staff and the food was really good!
This is my third time at Coffee code and I think they have cracked it. Wonderful specialty coffee and I just had one of there fruit waffles... Yum. They have three locations, Buena park, Fullerton, and Norwalk. Give em a try next time and see if you can ease the congestion at other lesser coffee shops.
Great hole in the wall coffee shop. Very polite employees.
Classy, Crafty, Simple. Coffee done well.
Coffee is not very good.
This place is easy to miss from the street, but well worth a visit to try their excellent coffee. Everything Ive had from here has been absolutely delicious! It runs on the pricier side, but is worth every penny when you take that first sip. So good!
I was recommended to try their strawberry latte, their most popular drink. I usually dont like strawberry lattes, their theirs was surprisingly really good. Not too sweet and tasted refreshing. I love their coffee ice cubes and the staff is really friendly! Give them a try.
One of my favorite coffee shops. Great coffee and service. The one in Buena Park has plenty of seating. Also I think they still have the Sweet Potato latte (check with them first) which is a treat!
I loved this place. There was a cute guy behind the counter and he was great to work with and fast. He recognized me and my buddy who had gone in last night. Good place and cheap
My wife loves coffee. More specifically she loves her Vanilla Latte. Having scoured the near vicinity and been disappointed either by pricing or lack of quality in the coffee, I ventured upon this gem. Tucked in a little strip plaza adjacent to BPDT. This well appointed and quaintly modest offering is warm and welcoming. The coffee is carefully crafted, by experienced staff, even when I wanted to ice down my Americano, I was proffered coffee ice cubes as to not dilute the brew. That along with Marshall Audio equipment shows an attention to detail that I can appreciate, kudos!
Best place ever! The food art is set up beautifully as well as the coffee art! I would recommend trying this place out!!! I went there 1 time I was very very impressed!
This is the best place for coffee ☕ great service, great quality, environment 👌 must visit open now lets support local business.
Everything you want to eat for breakfast you will find it here.Prices are reasonable.Service is good but it gets really busy so beware of that.
This place is a hidden gem! It’s small and cute, the attention to detail on the food is astonishing. They did a little design on my hot chocolate and my waffles were picture perfect! Everything tastes as good as it looks.
I got a mocha frappe and my girlfriend got something hot (a latte I think). While I enjoyed the flavor of my drink I didnt taste any coffee. It tasted like a chocolate shake to me. My girl said her drink was OK but didnt give her any caffeine kick. It was very nice to look at though... great artwork. It does seem to be a very popular coffee spot as the place was very busy. I dont think Ill come back for coffee anytime soon.
It smells wonderful just walking in 😍
My wife and I love this place. Everything that weve ordered has been good (mostly lattes), but my absolute favorite is the Strawberry Latte. The flavor is amazing and I love the fact that they use frozen coffee cubes instead of regular ice so that the coffee doesnt get diluted. Definitely worth it!
Always a great place to get coffee. If you ever buy iced coffees ask for the coffee ice cubes. Very life changing.
Absolutely amazing! They even use coffee ice cubes so the iced drinks do not get watered down. I did not see pour over on the menu but they did have pourover setups.
Great coffee and staff
This coffee house is NOT a place for you to plug-in and tune-out. Coffee Code is a place where you go with your friends to enjoy a great beverage and good conversations. Music videos play in the background, and thats a good thing. The shaved ice deserts (summer only) and waffle desserts are made to order... and delicious!Family owned and family run, you are welcomed every time you enter and thanked every time you leave.Stop by... youll be happy you did!
Fresh brewed English black tea. A bit pricey however Delicious.
There is no better coffee in my experience than here. Yes, I frequent Starbucks and I stand by my words! Coffee Code IS MY destination when I go to Buna Park! Cozy, artful....the reason you want to have coffee. This is how its done...RIGHT!
I love their iced coffee here ! They freeze the coffee in ice cube form, so when the ice melts you still have yummy coffee flavor, not that watered down ugh coffee! Lol You should try it! You will get hooked!
Strawberries & cream waffles were bombskeez
Drinks and food were good. Gets crowded and the place is small and cramped. I would come back.
Cool independent coffee shop staffed by award winning latte art experts. Hard to find if you dont check googlemaps and very easy to miss the parking entrance as the bank next door parking lot does not have a shared access. I’ll be sure to visit again when im in the area.
Over 2000 pictures and 1000 reviews, so its a MUST TRY! Especially for a coffee lover like myself.Back to basics.. I think the best way to judge a coffee shops coffee/espress is a plain coffee or latte! Thus, I ordered a Latte. It was a very good latte. Strong coffee beans that werent over powered by the steamed milk taste. And of course, the latte art was poured beautifully!I didnt get any food or pastries but from what I saw, it looked very good!Ill be back!
That Chris Rice review is incomprehensible. The review is as accurate as his grasp of English language. I had a good chuckle. Thank you Chris. I go here for the cold brew and flat white. they do not roast their own beans but I buy the beans to brew at home regardless since the flavor profile is to my liking. The decor is modern not hipsters. Its a small place and sometimes they do get backed up, it happens. I tend to go off rush hour therefore I dont experience a lot of waiting.
Definitely a most stop if you are in the area. Everything tastes delicious.Highly recommended.
Phenomenal beans and brew methods. Employees always willing to recommend their favorite. Use counter culture typically. good cold brew as well, and good espresso. Favorite pour overs so far in so. Cal. Food is a little lacking in selection - combination of breakfast (e.g. waffles) and desert (covered in chocolate/whipped cream). also pastries.
First time here tonight. Good coffee and desserts ... the honey bread and I cant remember what the other one was called, was awesome! My buddy had the parfait and said it was amazing! The coffee great! The staff excellent! Wish I lived closer cause I love coffee ... I had the syphoned coffee
First time here... Nice friendly staff. The girl who helped us was helpful and made some recommendations for my husband and I.
Delicious coffee. They take their coffee very seriously and, if you are interested, enjoy talking about their beans and preparation methods. We visited several times and had lattes, a cold brewed Dutch coffee, and (because Id never seen it done before) a siphon coffee. Their waffles are yummy too :-)
The coffee was good but was hardly worth waiting almost a half hour for. I don’t know if something went wrong with the schedules or what but there were tons of orders and only two girls working. If you go to coffee code, make sure you don’t have any other plans.
I love the coffee here and the latte art is made by the 2015 Latte Art US champion so... its pretty good. The choices of desserts are also great!
Really pretty-looking desserts and drinks. A little pricey though. I got the iced green tea (and I know no one gets this so who cares) and they oversteeped it twice, resulting in bitter flavor. But their other stuff is excellent. This is one of those places where you see people taking pictures of their food all the time.
This is a wonderful little place. Every drink Ive bought here is great, and the apple Danish is amazing!
This place showed me what coffee is all about. Iced coffee here comes with coffee ice cubes so your drink is never watered down! Eiskaffe and cafe con leche are my top favorite drinks!
The coffee is so good. It is strong so hope you love good coffee. The owner has won several prizes for latte art
Coffee Code has the best coffee around this area. Friendly baristas. It is more expensive but worth every penny. This location has more food than the other one, but I am rating it only on the quality of the coffee itself since I havent ever eaten anything here. Great coffee, nice people, check it out.
If youre willing to pay a premium for your coffee and latte art then might as well spend your money here. Great space that promotes the concept of conversation over coffee. WiFi only during non peak hours, and they have desserts to go with your choice of drink. Good amount of space and nice decor, especially their cold brew set up which is quite neat!
Most delish coffee. Waffle and strawberry dessert was light, made to order, fresh and very tasty. Their service was punctual but not rushed. Love the cute foam designs. Will try The Eiskaffe next time. Looked really good. (Scoop if ice cream on a espresso shot🤗).
The coffee is regular coffee they try and dress up a bit but everything else they do is nice. I really like how they make there smoothies and waffles.
Nice little place. The few things Ive tried here were nice. Wish the prices were better though...
Love this place! Been looking for a cute coffee shop, that has well-made coffee, with options that can make the cute coffee with decorations as well as amazing pastries!! Great for socializing or reading.
Very coffee shop. Staff are super friendly. Great place for a little pick me up. Only issue is that they close at 6pm.
I dont drink coffee but everyone I know loves this place. I get their bread. Its rather big and really tasty
Awesome cappuccino! Service is very good, always with a smile and very polite. Love this place for good quality coffee and service.
I called them because I was on my way to meet a friend. They weren’t open until 9 AM and I was really craving an almond latte. They were so amazing and let me order over the phone, and I picked it up at 8:45 AM. I couldn’t believe the amazing customer service. Especially these days it’s really hard to come by. Thank you for making my morning!
It was so good! Best breakfast Ive had in a very long time! And the employees were very nice as well
Staff was friendly and very helpful!
Yummy hazelnut latte, with espresso-laced ice cubes to keep my drink tasty without watering it down! Great barista with helpful suggestions.
Ample seating, nice staff. We had a hazelnut latte that was very nice. Definitely coming back next time Im inthe area.
This little coffee place is delicious! Try their honey bread its the best! The coffee here is amazing try them all!
They did design on my hot coffeeEverything tastes as good as it looks.
Ive only been to the coffee code in Fullerton but now that I just found this one I definitely plan on stopping by every time I go to knotts. Their café con leche is my go to. The cup is small but its so delicious and for its size its well worth it.
Excellent coffee, great flavor profiles and wonderful plating and latte art. Delicious with a capital D.
Expensive but good. Banana latte is my favorite. For most iced coffee, they use coffee cubes. Awesome.
Need your K-Pop fix or better yet, just a really great desserts/coffee space? Coffee Code fits the bill.Drinks and desserts are amazing here. Ive had both the brown grain smoothie and a strawberry coffee-like drink that were both very good. My friend got the Affogato which is coffee with ice cream and said it was absolutely one of the best desserts hes had in a long time. The mochi waffle here as well (which is exactly what you think it is) was an absolute sugary treat. Also enjoy some cool latte art here as well as well as great dessert design.Parking is usually not too bad in its small lot and the decor is a mix of a French cafe and a Korean-inspired shop with K-Pop on the TVs.Really, Coffee Code is one of the best little cafes in the area and is well-deserving of your time.
Originally this spot was a Togos for the longest time, and then it turned into a crepe place that didnt do very well. I hope Coffee Code stays as its in an odd and kind of dead location/plaza. :0Ive tried the Berry Berry Waffle ($5.95), Honey Toast ($3.99) and SweetPotato Latte (large $4+)Ambiance is pretty cool, with the korean music videos looping on the big screen, a comfy couch, and tables with handmade decorations underneath. The Berry Berry Waffle was big, with lots of fresh fruit and ice cream. Yummy ^^ For the price it was decent.Honey Toast I was OK on. They have a Happy Hour deal where Mon-Fri from 2-5 pm, the Honey Toast is $1 if you buy two $3.99+ drinks. That would be worth it as most of the large drinks are around that range. Its not brick toast though, its 3 slices of toast on top of each other with honey and ice cream on the side. The Sweet Potato Latte I really liked. It felt like a hot sweet potato shake with chunks of potato xD Wasnt too sweet or rich, just right. They close at 12 am so for a sleepy city like Buena Park, its good to have some place to crawl to for snacks/coffee and chilling at 11 pm without resorting to Dennys.
Pricey and coffee was weird. I got the cafe con Leche. I understand that theyre trying to put their own spin on it but it just tasted like candy and I dont understand the point of the nuts. It was a weird drink.
I want to start off, by saying this place is really only for people who truly love coffee and not the imitation Starbucks kind of coffee( 90% sugar and 10% coffee). The decoration at this place is amazing! It literally looks like it is set in some romantic French city; however, its much closer than that.Fair WARNING, the price of coffee here is kind of expensive, but it is so worth it. A cup of coffee cost about $5 dollars, and they also draw those cute little pictures. It is perfect for a post date coffee run, wink wink to all the GUYS out there. If you come here, you MUST try1. ice coffee (iskcafe) which is basically two scoops of vanilla ice cream drench in an expresso shot2. berry berry waffle (syrup on the side, so the waffle wont get soggy)
So today I go for a treat with my girls, only to discover they no longer have Thai tea, very disappointing. I could let that slide, however, I went to pay for my order which was over $20, I handed the young man a $50 bill, and he refused it, said they dont take bills over $20. There were no signs warning me of this. I cancelled my order and walked out. Service has declined since my last visit.
I used to love this place because of the friendliness of the baristas, taste of the coffee, and the efficiency of the workflow = less wait time but now it tastes awful–don’t think the barista did a good job of dialing it in, took forever, and service wasn’t all that great.
Good coffee. Priced comparable to other places.Clean.Friendly staff.
The Pumpkin Latte was spectacular. Their waffles are huge and thick topped with fresh fruit. Love!!!!
Horrible horrible customers service!!Worst customer service ever!!! If you complaint about their service, then three Korean siblings (owners) will kick you out from the store.I am not a compliant person, but today I experienced horrible attitude from one the owner (the middle one)and I was talking to him regarding that and he apology for his attitude. However, middle of conversation, the older sister Jennifer jumped into the conversation and told me to get out of store because i was holding him during busy time with complaints. Also they refunded my money without my authorization. And the youngest sister throw me a pen(!!) for refund receipts to sign. Holly molly. ...Basically they kick me out because I pointed out their bad service. So.. i warn you DO NOT go there unless you will accept any kinds of bad attitude from them.
