There were actually working people in the store that could help you and not have to search the entire store for help. Not only did they help they were friendly and did it with a smile! So happy to see awesome customer service.
I guess the guys who are supposed to help you load at the lumber section thought rounding up carts in the parking lot was more important than helping a customer load his truck. I waited 30 minutes and finally went to the return desk and got a refund. While at the return desk, one of the guys that was supposed to be a loader comes riding up on an electric buggy to plug it in. I hate this Home Depot.
Nice service. you can find many things easily of course. and also the workers there are so kind. they answer to my questions with patience.
“You’re beautiful. Don’t listen to what anyone else says” is not something anyone wants to hear even from the person that’s there to show me where the screwdrivers are located. This is the backhanded compliment my girlfriend was given not once but twice from this location. I don’t come to Home Depot for beauty advice. This will be the last time I visit this particular location and it’s my opinion that the employees here need to have some sensitivity training.

Home Depot usually has great service, but today the person helping me with the weedeaters was completely unhelpful. He should have gotten someone with knowledge to help, but he didnt even know how to do that.The product i wanted was in stock. Finding it was the hard part..

All other stores employees and management should be trained through this one.I have yet to go in and not be greeted by Sincere staff that actually want to help!The Flowery branch store was making me go to Lowes & Ace until I discovered this gem.Every single employee treats you like you want to be treated.My family enjoys visiting here to spite the over-priced merch that is not their fault.Top Class Staff @ Buford! Would recommend this store!Plus, they dont make you check yourself out on the registers, like Flowery Branch does.

Went in looking for 36”x36” sheet metal. I found what I wanted just not the right amount. I asked an associate to look in their overhead storage. His response was “you can check online”. I’m standing in the store looking at more material overhead and he can’t get a stair to check. Why am I spending my money here?

He is an asset to Home Depot!The Manger on duty, Caleb was just as helpful, made you feel like your business really matters... unlike the treatment you will get at the Flowery Branch store. I wont be back to that one, but the Buford HDs service and going over and beyond is why HD-Buford retained me as a customer, just when Lowes was about to be my new store.Thank You Zach and Caleb, You guys are what makes Home Depot great!

Home Depot mall of GA has most items I’m always need in stock. Service has been good with very few exemptions. The only complaint I have is their refund card usage policy. I have lost money because they require the same Id used when the refund was issued. My daughter did received a refund that I could not use while she was away in college, or a refund that didn’t match their records even while it was issued to my wife and we had the ID.
I went to get mulch there was a man name Tim that was very rude ask me why my car was park where the mulch was. Very obvious I already paid and was ready to load. He said I need to pay for mulch first. How ridiculous that was. He judge me before checking what a customer service. Need better staffing ortraining.

Had to go to 2 different stores today to get materials and was passed by multiple employees and was never greeted or asked if I needed help or even assist me with loading my heavy purchases. I avoid spending money at your stores for this simple reason so if Im able to get my stuff at lowes I do because they treat their customers 100%better than you do.

Went in to purchase a freezer fully aware of the current covid back order situation of unavailability on pretty much any of them and a gentleman named I believe Henry went above and beyond looking at any models that would even allow an order to be placed in the system. I feel this man was night and day different in his customer service approach than the guy Bob at the Satellite Blvd. location of whom lost a $900.00 sale and a customer from that store after I purchased a display and immediately said no thanks due to damage and most importantly his attitude. So thank you again Henry in making a customer actually feel welcomed and like you truly appreciated and wanted their business in your store.

Their curbside pickup was a little messed up for the guy was quick to figure it out and got the right order in a quick amount of time.
This place exemplifies the problem with retail nowadays. Ask anyone here their input or advice and they will defer you to an online source. It begs the question to why I even asked for help. I wish the selection were more refined as it seems to cater more to contractors versus designer details. Pick your poison I suppose.

We bought a new oven which the buying experience was flawless as was the delivery. However we were missing a part on the stove the delivery driver called immediately to order a new part. I decided to call Home Depot just to see when the part was going to arrive. After having to call the store twice spent 45 minutes on the phone with LG and then driving to the actual store to speak with somebody I have now gotten four different stories I have no idea if the part has been ordered. The customer service in the store is probably the worst I have experienced. Do you yourself a favor wait the extra time and go to Lowe’s!
Love the pick up lockers outside! So convenient. Not to mention the staff got my order ready so fast! Will definitely use this option again.

A regular on the list to visit for home repairs and upgrades. Prices a good and usually has a higher quality selection than stores that carry similar items.
My boyfriend and I just spent $229 on a ceiling fan that is listed on the website, showing available in store, for $199. After realizing the price difference, we went to see about either getting the $30 difference or just returning the fan. After speaking with Abraham, and finding no difference between the two items, we decided to return the fan. Another associate, Katrina who wasnt even wearing a mask during a pandemic, was not helpful either. Neither one should be working in a face to face position.

Today, I visited this clean and glittering store for a simple purchase, which I found with ease. Upon venturing to the self-checkout lane, I was greeted by a marvellous assistant (Diana, I believe) whose help with a technical issue at my lane was and is immeasurably appreciated.
Has what I need at a good price. The workers are very helpful and cordial.
I went to get some help in the paint section, but there was no one to be found then after 10 minutes I saw a lady come into paint section. I asked her nicely if she was busy, and she responded in the most rude way ever. Even after she became less “busy” she said “What do you want?” I felt like the attitude and behavior was quiet uncalled for and very ghetto! She is white with red hair.
We bought a bucket of stain from Home Depot on Friday for our fence. The color was too light so we went back on Saturday to see what we could do. The guy at the paint section was able to darken it up. On Sunday we ran out of the paint. We went to Winder Home Depot to get more and found out the guy from the day before never put a sticker, so we are now waiting to see if we can come up with a similar match. This took over an hour. We could of been done with our fence by now. This is quite frustrating as you can imagine.
There was no one on the floor that could help me find what I was looking for. I even stopped someone to help and he was acting like I was asking him for money. Very disappointing location.

Paint department needs to learn better customer service skills. Extremely RUDE, ignores customers then mumbles under their mask as if customers don’t hear. Works fine for me.... Lowes is just opposite side of the road ;)Just thought I’d let others know about this particular location.

I can assure you over the many years that I have visited this location it is business as usual. You will see people of color working there but none in key positions. They seen to have a political agenda here at this location. If you favor conservative views you are treated better than those that dont. Buford is an old area and a lot of the residents have political and racial bias.
Good location, I wish they had an online pick up area
They never have anything in stock that they claim they do. We ordered seven blinds from them as their inventory stated they had fifteen. We drove thirty minutes at 5:30am to get there as soon as possible for closing day. The order of course wasnt ready yet, but we went to go pick them out ourselves, only to find they had two. Someone came out and looked all over but couldnt find any. No apologies for the inconveniences or anything. Granted, they were very nice, but we canceled the order and started our three-hour-long journey of finding all the blinds we needed.

Over the years I have seen how people are treated differently than others at this location. If you are a veteran you are treated with respect. If you look like the community majority you receive preferred treatment.Lots of lifers that work in this store. If you dont fit into these two categories you may be subject to abuse, harassment and discrimination.The only way you can address this behavior is to speak out on it.Have you had a similar experience?
I visited the Home Depot on Hey 20 Buford. GA on 01/15/2020 to purchase blinds. Jonathan assisted me and made sure i got all the product i needed. He was extremely customer oriented with a very positive attitude. Great experience and excellent service. Thank you!!

Home depot in general, over the decades, has perfected the right mix of service, quality and value. This particular Buford store is well run, clean, organized with very helpful associates. Kassie in the paint department was particularly helpful today. Its my favorite Home Depot

I went to the home Depot on Buford Drive to the paint department. The person who helped I must say it was one of the best employees Ive seen in any type of business super efficient and quick very patient multitasking than an outstanding job a real credit to home Depot. His name was John.
Horrible customer service. Ordered online to pick up in store, went to curbside pickup area and called the number on the sign to request curbside. It rang and rang and rang. In the meantime, I went in to get my order from Customer service desk, which had a 5 person line. I figured it would be faster to grab my order off the shelves, so I grabbed what was in my order, and headed to the checkout area when finally someone answered... I never hung up from when I tried to request curbside. I told the associate that I needed to cancel my order since nobody would answer the phone, she said she would transfer my call and hung up. When I immediately called back, I got the prompt that the store was now closed. I have used curbside at the Hamilton Mill location with no issue.

Six months ago rated it 5 star but this morning was a different story. Greeted at the door by friendly lady but that was it... for the next fifteen minutes no fewer than five associates( 4 men, 1 woman), all wearing masks, either walked by or actually stood next to me on the lawnmower/blower/trimmer aisle. No acknowledgement or offer to help during my 20 minute stay.... All seemed preoccupied with merchandise or inventory(Echo), or in one case setting up an orange barrier. Expected better on a slow morning
