Its very difficult buying a car these days due to shortage. Went to multiple dealers and they mark up the price with unnecessary protections and accessories costing extra 5K-10K. Stopped by and bought VW Tiguan. Great car and excellent price. Salesperson Amos was great to deal with. Very professional and knowledgeable. He didnt push me to buy extra protections and accessories like other dealers. Bought the car just factory installed. Great experience and highly recommend this dealership.
This was my first experience buying a vehicle over the Internet and the folks at AutoNation for a friendly and easy to deal with and help me through the whole process. It took quite a long time to get all the paperwork through but you can expect that when you do it long-distance through the computer and the mail. The folks at AutoNation were patient and worked with me and it was actually pretty painless to do this way.

Bought a new Jetta. Have made exactly 1 payment…..1. Car now has a check engine light for an exhaust system malfunction. Called the service department to make an appointment, and to request a loaner. Was forwarded to another person’s voicemail. Left a message. No response. A quick Google search shows that this can be a serious issue that may take extra time to diagnose and repair. Now, do I drive the car as is and risk damage, or do I have to rent a car while hoping that maybe some day someone will actually respond?

Ive been coming here primarily for service for I think 4 years, and I have loved my experiences. I suggest calling ahead of time for an appointment, and, if possible, discussing what you are coming in for if unsure. Even with that, most places will say bring it in so they can look at it. There is a diagnostic fee that can be absorbed into the price of fixing the issue. Im not trying to convince you that their procedures are so different from others. I am just telling you that the service advisors are nice people and have not tried to get over on me, but encourage you to be as informed as possible, and ask questions to get the comfort you need to make the best, good decisions. They used to take other VW dealerships coupons. If I am not mistaken, they have service technicians there that have won awards for being the best in the country over the last couple of years. Thats just something nice to know. Prices for service continue to rise probably everywhere and here is no different. They are extremely busy most of the time, but if its possible to call early in the morning to speak to someone, do that. Be nice. Consider them as you want them to consider you! I hope your experience works out as well as mine have. You missed John and Katie, but say 👋 to Mike, Sam, and Justin!!

When I arrived, he already had the car upfront waiting for a test drive. A great finance department as well! Would recommend anyone whose looking for car to shop here first! Ask for Daniel Brice!
I would give them one star for my last visit, but the fact that they were switching systems gives me a little sympathy. I had an appointment at 9:30, for a normal oil change and tire rotation. I arrived My 915 that morning and checked in. At 1:30 I was still sitting there everyone else had checked in and left with their cars having either the same service I was having or even more work done on them. Finally a service guy came and asked who was with this car, and of course it was mine.. he said he was so sorry, that it had been in idle the entire time and had no work done on it whatsoever at that point. He said he would have me out of their quickly.. 45 minutes passed and he said we were ready and asked if we wanted it washed, after all that waiting and you have to ask? It was not my issue but we paid the price for having to wait all day to get something simple done. To make matters worse, when we checked in they asked if we would be staying in site or going elsewhere. I made a point of telling them we had no transportation to anywhere else so we would be staying there, during our 4 hours there, my 8 year old and I, found out that others had been shuttled to the mall and other locations nearby but not once did that get offered to us. I just felt like they did not do right by us, we love our car but we will not be using them for service anymore. What good is an appointment if they aren’t really honoring them??

Mark was a peoples person, never pushy, never trying to wheel and deal, just wanted to give you the car you were looking for, way above any other car dealer sales person I have met. He was great!, even recommended a spot to have a quick lunch while they wrapped up the paper work. No long waiting, no surprises, no disappointments for me. Super friendly and very accommodating. We were traveling. 400 miles from home with a car full of camping gear, on our way to meet friends in the mountains. Initially we were told it would be the next day before we could get the car back, but these guys got us out of there in just under 3 hours. So grateful!!
Kristin. is. amazing. She works at the front desk and knows just as much as the mechanics. She always touched base with me and kept me in the loop with what’s going on. She explained the repairs and issues with my car in a way that made total sense to me, and thoroughly explained all charges before I agreed to any work. I will come again and again as long as she is employed!
Mark was a great sales manager and made everything really easy. He was super busy, but was still the one person who jumped in the truck and took it for an emission test, really should have been someone else, but he knew I had to be out of there quickly. Top marks to Mark.!!

First time ever buying a used vehicle from a dealership. I highly recommend it!! Volkswagon Autonation was the 3rd place we looked at vehicles & I’m so glad we ended up there. They were not pushy, I felt our questions were answered honestly & they made it easy to purchase a vehicle. They use a 127 check list with their inspections of a used vehicle where as small car lots only use a 27 check list on inspections, if they use one at all. The extreme inspection was a big reason my husband & I felt secure buying a used vehicle from them. Aja Cummings was our sales associate and an absolute delight to work with. She is very friendly, in no way pushy & she made buying a vehicle fun!
I recently purchased a Volkswagen from this dealership. I was lucky enough to have worked with Chris as our salesperson. Chris was great. As a woman, it can feel like dealerships can be pushy or try to take advantage of this, but not Chris. He was not trying to push or offer things that were not necessary. When the lot did not have the exact car I was looking for, Chris took the initiative the reach out and look at other dealerships until he found exactly what we had discussed. He definitely did what he promised. If you’re looking for a car, ask for Chris, he will take care of you!

Website advertising Xpress service with no appointment. I actually called to make an appointment for a simple oil change. The first appointment they have available is 20 days from now. My brand new vehicle will be way past due for it’s first oil change. This is my second VW; and this poor service is one of the reasons I second guessed buying VW. In the past it would take 3-4 hours to get an oil change. Very disappointed

We were looking at Carmax and finding no help wandered over to Volkswagen just before lunch turned us into Patti LaBells and ran into Josh. He walked us through the pros and cons of new versus used. We came in looking for a used low mileage car and walked out with a 2021 Jetta with nonexistent mileage. James was clear and direct and played no games with the terms and Josh was not just outstanding with the information he was a great person to talk to. This is how fair selling should work. The parts department is horrible, they have zero desire to be helpful in any capacity. Something that seemed like was way too much work for them was solved in less than 5 minutes on the phone at Jim Ellis, and happily so. The entire experience from start to finish was horrible and made me regret purchasing this vehicle. I will frequent Jim Ellis from now on.
I recently purchased a 2014 BMX X1 that I fell in love with at first sight. After 2 weeks of having the vehicle I was already having multiple issues. You would think it’s safer to purchase from a dealership but this is the worst car processes I’ve ever had. The first thing I noticed is the alignment and how bad it pulls to the right when you really start driving. Something you don’t get to see when test driving. Two was ELECTRICAL ISSUES the moon roof screen closes completely when it wants too meaning some times it closes all the way and some times only the front of the screen comes up and disconnects from the back screen. Third was the driver side mirror turning outward going the complete opposite direction of the vehicle, And NO we are not talking about the actual mirror but the entire piece was turning (with all the power off) away from the car. After scheduling a appointment and waiting two weeks for it I was told the day of by Volkswagen Mall of Georgia that they had no loaner for me and that I needed to take my vehicle to a BMW dealership and see if they have a loaner which they did not. Fast forward 1 week and the tire pressure light comes on and I’m trying to return the vehicle that I purchased August 28,2021 exactly 1 month after purchased and no one wants to assist me. Every associate that answers the phone transfers me to a voicemail or tells me there is No Manager present to speak with me. I strongly believe this was a scam and would advise anyone looking for a vehicle to search else where because this place is a proven gimmick!!!
The customer service was ok! But I literally purchased my vehicle in April 2021 and I’m already having “electrical issues”. I’m out of my 90 days and the extended warranty i purchased doesn’t cover my issue. It’s really disheartening because we come trusting that we will be sold great dependable cars. I’m a single mother and buying cars don’t come easy.

Initial salesperson was great. Then his ‘manager’ came to ‘greet’ us. He spent a few minutes lecturing us and letting us know that whatever he wrote down would be best and final offer. He would ‘pencil in’ 10.99 percent loan rate until we were ready to make a deal. We have been to 7 dealerships in the last two weeks and this was, by far, the worst experience. Wouldn’t buy a slurpee from this place
I went in for my 10,000 mile service and was there for 4 hours after being told that it would only take 1.5-2 hours. When my car was finally ready the employee who was taking care of my car did apologize and said the garage had just gotten behind. I completely understand that but it would have been nice for someone to come and just let me know.l by saying “hey, it’s going to take a little longer than expected.”
I had a very bad experience buying a car here. The salespeople are not trained well. I have waited over 30 days for my tag and it is still not here. Every time I called to resolve this issue, I get different excuses from them. My experience with other dealers were much more professional and things were handled in a more timely manner.

Let me start with saying I HATE BUYING A VEHICLE!!! It’s time consuming and exhausting, especially with a toddler! Well, yesterday was a totally different story!! When we first arrived, we met Asiel. We told him we were wanting to checkout the new 2021 Atlas Cross Sport. He immediately moved the car around to the side of the building and went over EVERYTHING this beauty has to offer! I did a good bit of research before going to the dealership, but I learned so much more from Asiel! This dude really knows his cars! The process from start to finish was painless. I definitely recommend VW Mall of Georgia and I definitely recommend asking for Asiel!
Service department is beyond lacking in communication. I have called every day to get a status on my vehicle. Left messages, they dont even have the decency to return a phone call. Dropped off my vehicle on Friday at 7am. I was told they would reach out to me to let me know what needed to be done. No call received. I called on Saturday and was told my service writer was off. I was tranferred to someone elses voice mail. Left a message and again no return phone call. They are closed on Sunday! I called Monday morning and actually got to speak to someone. I was informed that my vehicle was being worked on and I would receive a text message later in the day when it is ready for pickup. And of course, no text message, no phone call, no communication AGAIN! It is now Tuesday and still I have no idea what is going on. I called again this morning and was told no one is there yet. I actually got a call back. The call was to let me know that the service person does not have time to let me know what is going on! Are you freaking kidding me! Apparently he has 2 customers there waiting. Hold up, I have been waiting since Friday. I will most definitely be finding a different location to service my vehicle going forward. Thanks for your help with that!!!

The car that I got from here was a used car from a trade in. It’s in pretty decent condition for its age and mileage and it didn’t break down on the highway on my way home from picking it up so that is a plus. I waited about a month before leaving a review because I wanted to make sure I gave an accurate account of my experience. The salespeople here are only nice and responsive up until they get your money. I bought my car on a Monday and picked it up on a Friday. After I paid for it on Monday, I couldn’t get ahold of the person who sold me the car again UNTIL I was there waiting to pick it up. Even when I called back up to the dealership with questions and was polite, the man who picked up the phone was rude and transferred me to a manager when I was simply trying to reach the woman who sold me the car. The 3 stars that I’m giving are ONLY because of the car itself. Customer service here is a 2 at best. I hope I don’t have any reason to ever have to call again.

I was able to work with both via phone and trust that all of the sales information was accurate and I would not have any surprises at the dealership. When I arrived my sales paperwork was ready to go and Aaron in the finance department was ready to complete the financial paperwork. Aaron was very helpful in recommending products and made sure I had the best terms for my loan. Overall, great job!

The service I received when I purchased my Red Ford Ranger, was great. The sales women and Finance manager went above and beyond to get me into the truck. And I drove off the lot with it. My issue is the third party detailing team. They did not clean my truck well at all. In fact, they smeared armor all on the paint, and the windows and interior isnt clean. They did a very poor job cleaning and detailing my truck. Wish they actually would take pride in their work. I hope I can get it detailed and done right by Ford, or even by VW, but by different people. I left so frustrated after they detailed by truck. Took 2 hours and it wasnt even that clean. Im very mad! I want it done right !
Service jobs are really hard right now - with the pandemic changing all of our lives, its hard customers to keep up and roll with the punches. AutoNations service department, though, is really trying hard to make people happy and remain understanding. Though I have witnessed customers acting like total jerks to the staff there, the staff maintained their professionalism. Even under stress, theyre just nice folks who really want to make their customers happy. I drive out of my way to take my vehicle there for that reason.
I really wanted to like this place, but we have had nothing but bad experiences. We bought a 2012 volkswagen tiguan from them and have TONS of issues with it. One of the back tires blew within 2 months of owning it, and they would not replace it for us (even though we were well within warranty), we had to pay them for a new set of back tires and within the next year the back right tire was completely bald on the inside due to poor alignment. The engine burns oil, had cheap replacement parts on it, and has cost us at least $2,000 after only a year and a half of ownership. I would have expected more transparency from a highly-rated dealership such as this one, but I would steer anyone away from this business. they are difficult to contact, seem to be purposefully unhelpful, and in the end cost us much more than we anticipated.

Amos with sales made what would have been a bad experience into 5 star experience. I needed someone in the service dept to put my car tag on my new VW Taos. I walked into showroom and no one acknowledged my presence —no hello —no “can I help you”. Standing in the showroom I called the service dept and I could not get anyone from that department on the phone. I called the sales department and Amos answered the phone. I told Amos where I was at and what I needed. Amos came to the showroom with a big friendly smile on his face. He asked how I was doing and I told him what I needed and he said he be happy to put my tag on my vehicle. Amos got some tools and we headed to my vehicle. Amos and I had a short friendly conversation while he put my tag on vehicle.Amos smile, and professionalism was awesome!!!! He told me what the pink license plate represented for Auto Nation. I can tell Amos enjoyed his job— he’s a eager, energetic person.If Amos is your salesman, you’re sure to have a wonderful experience.Thank you Amos for giving me top notch customer service!!!!

I started looking at a used GTI at another AutoNation location down the street from AutoNation VW. Unfortunately, they were not giving me a good offer on my trade in (2020 VW Tiguan). I called over to the AutoNation VW Mall of GA and they gave me top dollar for my trade in and put me in a NEW 2021 GTI. The manager Aaron was extremely helpful and paired me with the sales person, Michelle. The deal was so great I didnt even have to negotiate. I got a brand new car and I am spending less a month. I live in Marietta, its worth the drive for the level of customer service and experience. I will definitely be a return customer!

Bought a car over a month ago and it was a great experience….until they got the contract that we signed wrong. No one will return phone calls, I’ve gotten hung up twice on. It’s been a month and they have yet to still pay off either one of the vehicle that we traded in, but yet still have sold both of the vehicles off their lot. I’ve called at least 20 times in the past two weeks and left multiple voicemails. This place cares about making a sale and that it is. Customer service is awful. Will not recommend anyone nor will buy another car from this place.

Stay away. I tried to get a vehicle from this dealership. They made me wait at least 3 hours. Once I handed over the down payment, they told me I would have to wait 3-5 days until the bank paid the funds the vehicle before they could let me drive. They never let me test drive the vehicle or even check the vehicle out. I cancelled the purchase and it took them 30 days to refund me my money. Horrible Customer service...

I can’t say enough good things about Lynette Wheeler. This woman worked HARD for us and I was able to walk out same day with a beautiful car. The car buying process is painstaking but she managed to make it enjoyable. She kept us laughing and having a good time. When it came down to the approval process she made sure we got it done. If you’re looking to buy make sure you work with her, ya won’t be disappointed. My experience at AutoNation Volkswagen Mall of Georgia is certainly mixed. 1st - I used their web tool to calculate the leasing payments. When I went to dealer they tried to direct me from getting the vehicle listed on their web page. They then told me that they agreed with the web tool payments, but I could not get vehicle until next day. The next day they did not contact me, and I contacted them with very little reply. The following day, I entered into email exchanges with the Gen. manager, who then told me that their web tool was not working, and gave me a quote with higher payments. That is not acceptable, and Im prepared to find another dealer.After about a week passed I went back to their web tool, and again contacted them with the tools payment. The dealer contacted me and did agree to the payments from the web tool.I would like to thank Amos Nsengiyumva for very knowledgeable service and sales about your very new vehicle and tech.I would like to thank Christopher Thomas for replying and agreeing to the web tool payments.

Talking about they are the only dealership in Georgia that offers a warranty. Full or lies. I should have gone to the Jaguar dealership. They have the same cars, better pricing and much nicer people!
Mike was a great help when I took my 2021 Atlas in for service. He told me the truth about how long it told me how long it would take and I appreciate that. He listened to me and told me exactly what would happen. I asked to speak to the service manager. He wrote down a not to give to him because he was not available at the time I was there. So I’m hoping the service Manager Matt will give me a call, to find out my concerns(which don’t have anything to do with the service I received).

We had a terrible experience with the sales person Quentin Champion and the sales man Mark Thomas. They were AWFUL at communicating when we were trying to purchase a new vehicle. If you choose this dealership DO NOT get stuck with these two or you’re in for a huge headache!
Let me start off by saying Mr. Shawn in the parts Dept is so amazing and provided the best customer service. I needed 2 parts for my Passat and GLI and even with only 5 minutes before closing he gave my wife and I above average customer service. I really hope the manager or corporate sees this. He even came outside to my car to look at exactly what I needed. AutoNation VW has always been a good dealership to me with my experiences in the service and parts departments. I will definitely call AutoNation VW for any parts I need from now on all because of the wonderful experience and customer service he gave us!
My service advisor Mike Richter was very helpful in getting the service (alignment) and product (4 new tires) my 2018 Tiguan needed at the best available price. My only complaint was the wait time - 4 hours. Next time I will take advantage of the shuttle service and go shopping at the Mall of Georgia!

Great experience. I took my car in for a couple of small issues with service and they washed my car! Such an awesome thing to drop it off dirty and pick it up clean!!!

Love my car and the buying experience itself was fairly typical. Would have rated higher if the “detailing” of the car after purchase hadn’t been basically skipped.Received the car with no wiper fluid, 3/4 tank of gas, tire pressure sensor calibration not done, and had to call back in to get them to release the vehicle app registration for Car Net. All things I felt should have been handled at time of purchase but 🤷🏼♀️ The Tiguan is awesome though, highly recommend for anyone needing a third row but not wanting to drive a school bus around.
From the first conversation to signing a loan for the vehicle, the experience was positive. After I took the car home and found minor corrective issues, the sales manager had their service dept. order and install new parts the following week. Hats off to Amos in sales and Aaron in finance. Really, every person, from the sales manager to the service manager, were a pleasure to work with.

I bought a Lexus VW auto nation and it was the best experience I have ever had!!! My salesperson was Nairobi and my finance person was Aaron. They were never pushy and super helpful. I’m a 64 year old woman and I was very happy with my purchase. I will always go back to them if ever I need another car.
Was wanting to upgrade my 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan and came in to look at my options. Roby assisted us and was awesome and super helpful. He let us do a test drive and compare different models and laid out all the pricing and financing options to find what worked best for me. Ended up making a trade in and finding a great new vehicle at a nice financing rate!He was super easy to work with and I would recommend asking for him for your next VW purchase!

After diagnosing our car AC repair was quoted $1000 for repair. Brought it back a week later and receive no phone calls or heads up on what was going on that day. Got handed a bill for $1900. I was hosed on parts cost (knew what I could get them for). Never again.
The experience was Smooth. Gill was quick to bring the car for a test drive. There was a lot of waiting due to short staffing.

Our sales person was Jewel Griffin who was fabulous! Knowledgeable, accommodating and super nice. Overall a very enjoyable experience. The whole dealership was very well run and everyone was great. From Jewel, to the sales manager to Mama J (Jocelyn) in finance. As my husband observed, car buying is too often like a trip to the dentist. This was certainly not that. Would not hesitate to seek Jewel out again for another car purchase. Courteous, professional and not pushy.
At Auto Nation Volkswagen Mall of GA, our salesman, Mr. Niroby Dingle, made our car buying exp. more pleasurable and less painful than the previous dealers we visited. He made it feel like we were actually appreciated for our business rather than Take it or leave it type of attitudes that are often felt, especially with the current shortages in inventory in the auto industry. He was very patient with us. we are not car gurus by any means, so he had to explain a lot. He knew a lot about the cars he was showing us. He was honest, and he also treated our kids with kindness and bought them snacks with his OWN money from the vending machines, which I thought was something you dont see a lot of these days. I would buy from Auto Nation Volkswagen Mall of Ga again if ALL their employees are trained well to treat and appreciate their customers like our salesmen, Mr. Niroby, did.

Bought my used 2015 Tundra from AutoNation Volkswagen about a month ago and had a great experience. Jocelyn (Momma J) was fantastic and absolutely knows what she is doing. She convinced me to get some extra coverage for the truck which Im actually happy to have for peace of mind with a used vehicle. William was great as well. When we took the truck for a test drive, I mentioned a slight vibration in the steering wheel under braking. Later in the buying process, he let me know the mechanics were replacing the front rotors free of charge without me having to ask about it again. On top of that they put two new tires on the truck after I had already signed my papers. Professional through and through.

Overall good experience working with the folks at AutoNation Volkswagen. The team was professional and courteous and made the car buying process as painless as possible. Purchased a used car and they did a nice job cleaning it up, including the interior and exterior, so that we drove off the lot with a vehicle we felt good purchasing. No pressure from anyone at the dealership to buy a vehicle and no hard upset on added warranties or care packages.
