We worked with Stephanie and Greg Smith Equipment Sales out of Buford GA and we purchased a Pro9000 lift, 2 Tall Jackstands, and a RJ-6000 Rolling Jack. It was a pleasure working with Stephanie who was able to help us along to the way with the purchase selections and shipping details. She shipped them to a local Trucking Depot who helped us get them onto a car trailer for the trip home. We (a married couple in our 60s) were able to install and set up the equipment successfully and have already used our lift for our F150 Truck, a 65 Fairlane, and our 2012 Harley Trike (yes you can lift a three wheeled vehicle if done correctly). Were very happy with this purchase and working with this company.

Tool Topia has apparently bought this company. They used to be good with ordering parts and equipment, but lately I wasnt able get a part. No one answered and voicemail messages were not returned. Joyce was the only person that was helping with trying to get something done.

Been calling the Buford,Ga location for three weeks cant get anyone to answer. Went to location todaysign on door says no more showroom. Knocked on door window as per sign,no one acknowledged me.Called while in front of business no one answered phone. Continue to knock on door window, I individualfinally came. Was told that they are thin on workers.I asked, if you cant answer phone how was I get service on an item if it needs service. She said,they were doing the best they could. Definitely lost my business, would not refer them to anyone.👎

Atlas Platinum PTC500 Review.After many attempts to call and no assistance in trying to order a $8600 equipment, I ended up ordering it through their website. Unfortunately this did not work well for me. Im now stuck with a $8600 equipment that Im very disappointed in. Dont buy the Atlas Platinum PTC500 before shopping around.Disadvantages: Short foot pedal for big feet. You have to take extreme caution with the smart lock, and it needs constant adjustment.Bead pressing system(Right side) is completely useless, you will need a pry bar(not provided by the way). Not durable material on most parts, and flimsy. Not worth the price in comparison to Ranger 80dtxf.Shop before you buy.

No one will answer the phone for the 1-800 or the local Atlanta office. Just rings and rings for 5m, does not go to an answering service to leave a voicemail and I just hung up. Worst customer service. Good luck getting this company to respond.

Waste of time. Just buy it online and save the headache of showing up at their store. Sign says appointments only. Have been calling for weeks nobody answers. Go there, doorslocked and you get no response. Thanks for nothing.

Bought a lift from these folks 2 years ago. Their service was top notch back then, and I just called them on several items and they still are highly service oriented. Great place to do business with. Highly recommended.

There is no way to get a hold of anybody at this company. I went through all their requirements to order a pressure line for my lift, went to pick it up and realized it was the wrong part, later they informed me that they dont have the right part anymore but they had already charged my account and still havent received my refund. Bad, bad experience.

Its a shame they seem to be willing to do anything but try to make a sale when I talk to them on the phone. As if any question I ask is a complete inconvenience to their lazy operators. Congratulations on losing a sale to your competition!

Greg Smith equipment cant be reach on phone unfortunately I them from Monday January 19, 2021 to Friday 22, 2021 i mean trying multiple of there phone numbers, still no one come to the phone I have to drive 2 hours to there physical location in buford GA just to order power supply for wheel balancer and calibration weight, its very bad 👎 someone need to answer the phone 📱 calls or purse the calls.

I bought 2 high rise 1500lb lifts from this company about 8 years ago. Great lifts! For the past several months Ive been trying to get a part to fix one of the air/hydraulic pumps, and each time Ive called they take my info and never call me back! This last conversation I had from the Atlanta location, I spoke with the tech support manager Jeff Smith, figured I would hear something from a manager, nope, still nothing!Because of this small issue, I will never buy from this company again! Not unless we get this issue resolved very soon!7-26-19 (update)i made contact with Nathan Shaw on 6-25-19, he said that day he was working on the issue. I never heard back. appx 1 month later i started emailing Nathan back, and never heard anything??..I finally received a return email from Jeff Smith, and we are currently trying to get into contact with each other via phone.... will keep you posted on the progress or lack thereof.still hoping to change this review to a 5 star.... we shall see.

This day and age its getting harder and harder to find good service and products . After walking into the Buford Greg Smith equipment and being greeted by a very nice gentlemen named Chris I knew I was in good hands. I am a picky/indecisive buyer and Chris went above and beyond helping me make my decisions on which vehicle lifts I wanted. After the purchase was complete he also made sure everything was loaded and that we were satisfied. This place is a one stop shop for a shop owner and I will continue doing business with them; thanks again to Chris and his crew at Greg Smith equipment.

Purchased a machine for my business thinking that I was going to be satisfied but I’m certainly not expecting everything to come in which only my machine itself came in without my left control arm and I spoke to the manager Jeff told me it was going to be two weeks it’s been a month and the piece is still not in it every time I email or try to call him or the company no one seems to answer my phone call looks like I’m going to take some legal actions because this is very ridiculous it’s been since September 7 and where in November very disappointed with my referralAnd I’m willing to pick it up or to speak to someone that can actually help or I’d rather just return everything and get my money back for selling the product they should’ve notified Me and letting me know there was going to be a wait but apparently it looks like a lot of people been having this problem with their past comments

I finally had time to go visit the Ga store this past Saturday. Chris done a excellent job helping me decide on which lift I should choose for my back yard shop. Chris was very knowledgeable with all the lifts Greg Smith Equipment has to offer. He answered all my questions, was very professional, and offered a World Class experience. If you are in the market for a lift I would definitely recommend Greg Smith Equipment. Prior to going to the store, I had spent literally hours on their knowledgeable web site. Had sent a email and the response was super fast. Their store is very clean and well organized. Hopefully I will have my Atlas BP8000 install in the next couple of weeks. These guys are the best. Two of the employees waited way late for me on a Saturday afternoon after getting stuck in traffic half way through a 4 hour drive from home. I would have wasted a whole Saturday if they hadnt been willing to give up a little of theirs for me, and that really makes a customer feel appreciated. I will definitely spend money here again.

The sales guy Chris Ledwell was beyond helpful, i had intentions of buying the OH10X but after walking in the showroom, seeing the lift, and talking to chris I discovered the OH10X wasnt going to fit my needs for my intended use. he talked me down to the PV10PX due to it being asymmetrical vs the OH10X being symmetrical. Its rare that any sales guy will talk you down instead of up.While there a family friend called and wanted me to pick him out a lift that would fit his low ceiling height requirements. BP800. We brought 2 lifts home in one trip.Now that my lift is up and running my neighbor wants one in his shop. I called Chris And got a quote in a matter of minutes for his lift and will be going down in a few weeks when they have the lift in stock.Greg Smith is by far the best place for bang for the buck for shop equipment.*note* if your building a shop make sure you design it for installing a lift in the future like i did (Scissors trusses)And don’t forget to get a oil drain while you are there for changing oil when you get back.
