I go here when I need to tune up my car. They have great service, Joe can give you a good deal. Youll have to wait a bit, these things take time but theres a waffle house right next to it so you can grab a bite to eat while you wait.

I loved Pep Boys since I was a kid. They never seem to disappoint and I always feel like I get quality work from them. A little on the pricey side for an. Semi -synthetic oil change and tire rotation but not a deal breaker

I came here because they are in network with my warranty company Silver Rock and I’m very happy I did! I arrived in the morning in my day off and decided to hang out until the repairs to my A/C was done. Everyone here is friendly and informative and even asked if I was hungry around lunchtime!! Such great service! I watched them work on my car and although it was an all day affair I have no complaints. They made sure I drove away happy and they solved my problem. I’ll only come to this Pep Boys henceforth. Great job guys!!! Thank you 😊

Needed an oil change last minute and some wipers on my work truck, these guys didn’t hesitate to do the job and stayed after a little later ensuring everything was done correctly and made sure I left happy. I’ve never had a positive experience with a Pep Boys until today, will definitely be back for the routine checkup and oil changes/maintenance on the work truck! These two deserve full recognition for their outstanding work and customer service!
Thought my battery was dying, since I purchased it at pep boys in 2019, still under warranty, they tested it for me, nope not my battery, no charge for the test. Rock on with Pep boys

Man this place is amazing. Joe has always treated me well. When I used to go to my car brand’s dealership it would always be a mess to try, and even get an appointment. Here I can call and they are always willing to make something work for me when I want to come in. Even after the first time I came in again when I wasn’t fully satisfied with the job performed they re-did it to my liking, and no issues. Very friendly place.

Made an appointment on-line at this store to have a tire repaired for my Father. When he arrived at the store he was told they had no record of the appointment and were too busy despite him having the confirmation number and a print out of the appointment. I would not depend on this store for anything.

Dont waste your time! After making an appointment and my car sitting there for 3 days untouched, I told them not to make the repairs. Instead of letting me know that they were understaffed, kept making excuses and putting me on hold for up to 30 minutes at a time. Called for a tow truck to bring my car to the house. Miracle phone call received at 6:54 saying they were able to fix it. I specifically told them not to fix it. Waiting for response from corporate. Car held hostage, yelled at that the car shouldnt be driven, then fixed after a tow truck was called to bring it home. * UPATE-- still no relief. After promises to receive call backs from Area Manager and corporate--nothing. Then tonight, get a call stating they need my vehicle back to see if they caused the new sound? First time, shame on you--second time--GET OUT OF Here. Give me a refund, Ill get your part off of my vehicle at a reputable/reviewed mechanic and give it back to you. I shouldnt have to pay you and beg you. Then, when I send a tow truck to get my car-- your shop has done hasty work that I have to go get fixed elsewhere. Now, on to Better Business Bureau. Cars are too hard to come by and not disposable. Other than my residence, its one of the biggest investments I have. If you cant do the work, dont have enough staff, just be honest instead of holding peoples transportation hostage.*Still awaiting a call from corporate, pepsocial, anybody. 9/2/21

I must admit, this is the best Pep Boys I have ever found in the State of Georgia. Customer service is always accurate and the service reps are good at what they do. Special shout out to Joe and Matt for saving the day as always. I have stopped in with multiple vehicles every month and they seem to handle business in a timely and professional manner. Don’t hesitate to stop in for any service your car may need. There is no such thing as a dumb question in this building, they are ready and willing to troubleshoot any concerns you may have.

I made my appointment online a week head on today for 10am. I arrived at 9:50 for my appointment and checked in after a few minutes of waiting. The guy that checked us in was rude and very short with us. After waiting for 55 minutes I returned to the the guy and asked for my appointment to be canceled and to return my keys. He told me I had to wait! I said no sir my vehicle is still in the parking lot and I want my keys. He again tells me no that I can’t have my keys. He says I have to wait for the GM to come and give me my keys. At this point I’m very aggravated and tell the man that if I have to I can call the sheriff to get my keys. At that moment the GM pecks out a door and asks me to come talk to him. I tell him no thank you I just want me keys and I want to leave. He starts to argue with me about needing to talk to him and is still not giving me my keys. At this point I owe no money and I’m 1hour past my appointment. So no I don’t want to talk I want my keys after a short back and forth he hands me my keys I say good day and leave. I will never return nor would I buy anything from this company again. Outrageous.
Needed water for a radiator leak.... they were too busy to check the car but at least I got some water to get me home.
They sent me a 30% off coupon, so I tried them for a synthetic oil change. Hard to believe it is regularly $110 and still cost me $80 with the coupon. That’s the regular price everywhere else. It also took them 95 minutes, even though I had an appt.
Customer service here was very poor and unreasonable. They took an appointment at 2:30 today. I went in to drop off my car. The mechanic who registered me in said that it will be over in 2 hours. I go in again at 4:45 and they did not even touch my car. When I asked the store manager Mark about why my car has been just sitting in the parking lot for 2 hours unattended he told me that it was part of my fault for not understanding that the service itself takes two hours, not the time starting from 2:30. I don’t understand how the fault is placed on the customer when the mechanic himself said it will be done in 2 hours. There was nothing they did to compensate for the inconvenience they caused due to THEIR failure to miscommunicate to the customer.

Disappointing is an under statement! So I brought my vehicle back up here because the first Alignment they did didn’t work. So I left my car up there on a Friday around 11 AM and the person at the counter tells me that they won’t be able to get to it that day because he only had one technician working. I left the vehicle there overnight and needless to say there was no proactive communication from them at all. I have a literally check on my vehicle several times just to try to get an update which was like pulling teeth. When I picked up my vehicle on Sunday the person that checked me out at the register told me that it was fixed and the severe pulling to the right was taken care of. On my way home it was crystal clear obvious that nothing had been fixed and the vehicle was still pulling to the right severely.Pathetic customer service and horrible quality of work from a paying customer. Needless to say pep boys will never get another penny from me & my family and I will be sure to use the power of Social media so that all of my friends & large network has all of the facts on this S**t Show at Pep Boys. My review got deleted so here we go again. Went in to order 4 tires in September 2020 and asked if they did price match and the manager said yes. Went to get them put on when they came in and asked again if they could be priced matched and again they said yes. when I went to pick it up Ronald said they could not. I told him I asked twice and was told yes both times. He looked irritated and said let me see what I can do. He said he was able to and then me being naïve I thanked him. I got home and checked the paperwork and saw that in order to make up the loss of the price match he added on the TPMS service. I used to change tires and know that this is for programming the sensors in tires. My truck does not have sensors on them and its not even something you can mistake. I went back to ask and he said the charge was to replace the valve stem. I knew this was a lie and said that the charge below it was for valve stems. It costs $1 each to replace not $10 each. He said it was just a different cost and did not expand and then said we already got your money. This got me mad but before i could say anything else the store manager stepped in and tried explaining away the charge so I left. I called another pep boys and he said the charge was to program the sensors. I called customer services and they contacted the store. We all three spoke (store manager) and the store manager tried to save face in front of customer service and started saying oh we are sorry we did not realize it. He said it was a mistake and that he is sure I have made mistakes. Its not a mistake when you back up Ronald on his lie and continue to lie to me. you just tried to take my money even when there is a pandemic going on and people are struggling financially. I ended up getting my money and he was silent with Ronald the whole time. If they did this to me they will do this to you. CHECK YOUR PAPERWORK!!
I had some family in town and as they were leaving to go back to NC, debris on the highway caused a tire to blow out. After getting the spare tire on the vehicle, I brought the wheel to this location as they were closing. Even though they were wrapping up their day, Dominic was able to get a tire mounted and balanced in less than 15 minutes and I was able to my family back on the road!From my experience in the auto repair industry, I know any shops would have told me that they wouldnt be able to get me in. With it being a Saturday and it the end of the day, many places would have been reluctant to squeeze me in. However, knowing the situation, Dominic was quick to take care of my needs. They even took the time to remove all the old wheel weights prior to balancing the wheel after they mounted the new tire!I definitely recommend going to this location and speaking to Dominic to ensure all your needs are taken care of!
Every time Matt Brown changes store locations I track him down because I only use him as my service advisor. He has never done me wrong. Thats why I traveled three counties away just to go see him

I had a great experience with this Pep Boys today, led by new management, Mario Falcon, and his service writer Conner. Mario was very knowledgeable and gave great advice. Mario wound up verifying that my alternator was, in fact, putting out less volts than is needed to keep my battery charged. Knowing that my battery was five years old and having checked prices around town, I knew I wasnt going to get a better price anywhere else, so I had them install a new battery. They installed that new battery quickly and efficiently and for a great price. Now, I, un-enthusiastically, have to go deal with a dealership to get my factory extended warranty to cover the alternator. I definitely recommend this Pep Boys for excellent, knowledgeable, and expedient, service.

My husband and I are so thankful management has changed at this location! We have taken both of our cars in over 4 times in the last few months and it has never been a great experience. However, it is the most convenient repair shop near our house so we continued to bring our cars here even though the experience was sub-par at best.The great news is that yesterday when I brought my car in for new breaks I was welcomed by a new face, Mario. He is the new service manager and a pleasure to work with. He insured me that he could have my car finished by that evening (it was only an hour and a half before they closed) and my husband and I joked “yeah right, they have never repaired anything in a timely manner. I’ll believe it when I see it.” We were pleasantly surprised when Mario called stating my car was ready to be picked up 30 mins before close!Overall, the changes made to this location are VERY welcomed and appreciated. Now we are confident in the service we will receive here with new management and team. Thank you so much Pep Boys! We look forward to working with you again next time.

Took my Audi Q5 to Pep Boys for an oil change and got that plus an alignment for a great price. Jesse Rivera, the manager, was very personable and understood my needs. He was more than fair with the prices and even extended me discounts, where possible, without me having to ask! This showed that he understands that we, moms, sometimes have to be frugal. After seeing my oil light flashed last night, I was having an anxiety attack. The next morning, I was calling around to find any shop to help me. I was hours late for work and afraid to drive my car. After calling this location, Connor was AMAZING! He gave me advice on how to safely get to their location and how he wanted to make sure that it wasn’t anything serious. He told me he could squeeze me in. I’ve been with pep boys for a couple of years now and I’ve never been told I could get squeezed in. It’s always “maybe tomorrow”. He sent a Lyft to take me to work and also bring me back. His customer service skills are by far the best I’ve seen. Going above and beyond is what he did. I’m used to going to an auto shop near for repairs but I am coming back to this specific location because of him. There’s other places a little more affordable but I don’t mind paying extra for outstanding customer service! I’m not sure what Connor’s position is but he should be promoted and praised. A day that started off horrible became great. Thanks again Connor!!
My wife and I went into Pep boys not knowing what really to expect. We have been to multiple shops and they just treat you awful, so we would never go back. Yesterday we went to Pep Boys and met with Connor to get quotes for tires and service and he was great, explained everything with detail and was even joking with my 5 year old daughter about the tire we were going to buy. Great customer service, great pricing, kept my car clean and even went the extra mile to stay open so we can pick up the car so my wife could make a Drive to Walter Reed Army Hospital.Connor was very helpful and protective when I told him I had kidney transplant and made sure everything was extra clean for us when we came into the store to pick up our truck.I would like to thank the staff for getting my tires done and my alignment checked. So Pep boys ( near the mall of Georgia) just became our new family tire and service shop.

UPDATE: THIS AN EDIT TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW.I have bumped them up to 4 stars simply because of their very fast response time to my complaint. Upon posting my initial review, they immediately reached out to me here and responded to my email. When I called the service manager, Mario, he immediately apologized and replaced my tire completely free of charge! I was genuinely impressed. It is very rare these days to have a manager and a company go the extra mile to turn a disgruntled customer who was never going to return into a satisfied one who will probably be going back if I ever need any other services. Thank you Mario!It took them 5 HOURS just to patch and change my tire! Then they didnt even put my spare away properly. They just tossed in in the back of my truck. Terrible service and they werent even wearing masks or gloves.
Got an email stating that I missed the appointment and to reschedule ...BUT IN ACTUALITY when I called and was told that I could get an alignment done right away, I go and was told my car would be the 1st to be worked on. I told the guy I would go to lunch and come back, 1 hr later I get back. Car hasnt been touched, I asked the guy whats going on, he tells me my car is next on the bay where u could clearly see, next car is obviously a different car, this is after waiting an hr after lunch. I look and no one is working, all these cars filled in the bay but no one actually working. So in conclusion, I wasted 2 hrs of my life waiting for something that didnt happen even though I was told mu car would be worked on asap right when I got there.
I came in for an alignment and a brake inspection. The manager offered a 3 year alignment service, which I chose, after I paid he told me that it was 3 years OR 36k miles. Secondly, he told me I needed both front and rear brakes pads and rotors but I just changed my brakes and rotors 6 months ago in the front. I doubt my brakes have worn that much especially since we were quarantined for 2 of the 6 months. Not okay with the service! I will never be back and do not recommend anyone to get their car serviced here.
I have been a long-time loyal Pep Boys customer and have visited several locations. However, the Buford location provided a horrible experience for me, as well as several other guests, and has left me debating whether or not I will return. Justin walked away from me while I was talking with him about the services being done on my car and slammed the door in front of me and other guests. He also cursed in front of me. Mario, the assistant manager, did nothing to help make my experience a better one. At the end of the 3.5 hours, I had to leave as I stated soon after I arrived and only my oil had been changed despite a promise to perform tune-up and install a few parts.
Dropped truck off the night before for 2 new tires, only started the work when I called about an hour before closing to check. Lost my hubcap and tried to blame it on my leaving it there, but its a cover and only come off when you remove the wheel. 2nd time Ive had poor service at rhis location, but needed the matching tires and they were right around the corner from house. Will go elsewhere when its time to replace the wifes tires on her car.
The staff here has always been extremely friendly & helpful. They have always taken care of me to the fullest & I will continue to put my car in the hands of these guys! Matthew helped me the last time I came in & the manager before that ... I’ve never received anything but great service here!

I went in for a standard oil change. That should have only costed me $40-$50 max no tire rotation. Instead he tried to charge me $92 and told me it was a mistake after I called him out on this ridiculous price. Never coming here again.

They were super busy, but Jonathan was able to find the tire I needed and get it taken care before they closed. I was so impressed with how kind he was while I was freaking out. Had diagnostic performed on battery. Results voltage 12.47 good, state of charge low. I was advised to buy battery at $138 for a Honda Odyssey. Upon receiving second opinion I was advised that battery just needed recharging which could be done on equipment or just driving on freeway in nonstop conditions with no accessories on.
I scheduled an appointment with their location on McGinnis Ferry Rd, but was asked to take my car to th e PepBoys on Buford Dr cause they had better equipment to do the alignment for a Mercedes GLC 300, On scheduling my call I was given an appointment the same afternoon. I was greeted warmly by the Service Manager Todd and he put me at ease that they could handle my car and they do the latest Audis and Mercedes.Todd, applied a coupon discount to my purchase which was awesome, giving me a $39 discount to my purchase, soon he was personally out with the tech reviewing the car and then informed me that my car was next, he offered that I wait in the customer lounge and enjoy some TV and said it should be done in about half hour.Car was done in a timely fashion with the Tech informing me what was previously wrong with my car. I was extremely happy with the exceptional customer service Todd and the other crew members offered, very impressed with Pep Boys, never used them much but now I am a customer for life.

Jose is an amazing manager. As I approached my car after work, I noticed my tire threading. I called to see if hed be able to take care of my tires tonight. He said no problem, come right in. They checked my other tires as well and noticed I had a nail in the rear one. The prices were less than what I anticipated, and theres no price on the peace of mind the team gave me. Thanks guys!UPDATE: Previous review was written a month ago. I went back in a couple of weeks later for an alignment (which was recommended previously). I could go into a whole story about my alignment problems since I was rear ended a couple of years ago, but the summary is Josh was able to do what Kaufman couldnt. I took my car 4 times there for the bumps and pulling (thats where insurance sent me) before I was frustrated and gave up. I waited to write this to see if anything popped up, but its been about 2 weeks since Josh fixed the alignment and she still drives perfect. Thanks again guys!

I had booked an appointment almost a week prior to my service. I had explained exactly what my car needed in the booking process online. I really depended on this service, as the day after my service was scheduled, I had a long car trip planned and Id be alone. Well, I get there for my appointment, and the lady asks my name, and explains there is a long wait for oil changes. I told her I completely understood, it was a Sunday and I know Sundays can be crazy at any job. Ive worked in customer service for YEARS.She seemed surprised I was okay with it, then asked me what else I needed done. She already knew, because when I tried talking, she immediately cut me off and rudely told me Yeah, we dont do that here. We dont have the parts. AND we also dont sell any tires.I was shocked, I told her it would have been nice if someone would have contacted me, because now I had absolutely no time for anything before my trip. She shrugged and stared at me. I quickly just told her THANKS and I walked out-to call around and searched for anyone to help me. What do ya know. I found business immediately somewhere else, and gladly spent a lot of money there since he offered to order the parts I needed and install them the very next morning before my trip. I will never depend on pep boys again. It was a silly mistake on my part.
My daughter was going back to college and I wanted to make sure her car was road ready. The manager and a auto technician were at the counter and they both greeted me. I thought her car needed a tuneup and they asked several questions about why I thought it needed a tuneup. After the manager went to test the car, he returned and stated I didn’t need a tuneup. They also correct some erroneous information my dealership had given me.Had an 8am appointment for an oil change non 7/8/19. Arrived at exactly 8am, was told they didnt have an appointment for me and that Id have to wait because somebody else had an 8am appointment. At 8:45 they still hadnt brought my car in. I left.
Jose & his service team are nice and friendly people! Greeted me right as I walked up to the service desk and helped me right as they were ready. No one likes having to pay ton of money for the work but they were willing to help me find rebates or coupons if applicable to help lower the cost.
Great attentive service. Both in store and over the phone. Soon to be a service only store. Their is a great 50% off in store sale on their retail sections because of the chang to service only. Nice lounge to relax while you wait. Great staff. I brought my Toyota Celica in to replace my headlight bulbs. Its PERFECT. Now I can drive safe and not worry about getting pulled over. 😂Thank you
Very pleased with the service. Got an appointment at short notice. Complimentary lyft ride to home and back to the shop when my car was repaired.
Customer service is great, but honesty not so much. I was worried that my starter was going out but I was told I had a bad battery (which had been replaced a month earlier) after a diagnostic was done. I went back to the shop that installed the battery and their machine read that it was a good battery and I saw it with my own eyes. The issue was a loose battery cable. I wanted to give them my business because of the great customer service, but I wont be back.
We drove in off route 85. The car was vibrating so bad. They took care of us. Checked all tires balanced them. 1 tire was bad belts separated. Since warranty was still good we left there without any charge. Employees were wonderful.
Jose greeted me when I walked into the store and helped me through my whole process of getting my battery replaced. And even offered to sign me up for a credit card to help my pay for the battery and anything else I needed. I would highly recommend this store. Thank you Jose for all the help
No sense to make an appointment. They wont call you or follow up to tell you anything. A lot of employees inside the store doing absolutely nothing but chatting and the garage shop with only two technicians. Not a single sign or effort to try to improve customer experience. Better choose another place or just show up without an appointment and wait for hours.
Mario and team were amazing every time I walk in here I get treated like royalty whatever Mario is doing with his technicians keep up the good work it is people like him that made me come back to this place day in and day out I will not take my car anywhere else Pep Boys thank you for having people like Mario and his team
While on a road trip hundreds of miles from home we had mechanical problems, Pep Boys helped us figure out the issue and find a place to get it fixed. Super Helpful!
