Worst Verizon store there is. Always has been. No matter the employees that are there, they are less than willing to help and seem like they’d rather be anywhere but at work.Went to the Hamilton mill Verizon store and got everything I needed PLUS really nice people/conversation. Glad I took my money to the right place/people that deserve the commission :)

I came in looking to upgrade and had to wait about an hour but the staff was doing their best. Jeannette worked directly with me and was absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and personable while doing her best to get me a good deal.

Good visit, location is very spacious with a lot of phones and tablets on demo displays. They also sell accessories and other electronic devices like home security cameras and bluetooth speakers. We were greeted as we entered the store and told we would be seen shortly. I only say the one employee greeting and helping people, and as soon as someone walked in and told him she had a 5pm appointment we decided to leave. We had been there for about 10 minutes already and didnt want the hassle of interrupting her appointment or waiting longer. If they had been less busy or staffed better we may have walked out with the new Samsung fold phone.
I’ve seen 7 reps in the store but only 2 helping customers they one comes out to check you in and tell you there’s an hour wait I’m not sure why all these reps can’t help us they are sitting in the back we need the smallest things and they keep telling us we have to wait when there is 7 reps in the store
We came about 5:30 on a Tuesday evening and were served immediately with EXCELLENT attention and patience to detail by Devon!! We were connecting my mothers iPhone 8 and he walked us through everything with AMAZING service! I had also had a problem with my glass covering adhering--on my new iPhone SE--and he took care of it with extreme care! What a kind and professional guy with OUTSTANDING service!! (Havent been in a Verizon store in years--and this was EXCEPTIONAL)!! Thank you again!!
If I could give zero star I would! I went there yesterday to switch my line from personal account to business one. I arrived at 11 and after signing up and letting them know what I need to do, the first solution manager gave was go and call Verizon!!! For sure if I could solve the issue by calling I wouldnt waste my time to go there! The manager kept me waiting for an hour somewhere in the store until someone responded to me. I saw he is responding to customer who came after me! It takes more than two and half hours until they said that I am good to go! they told me that I needed to stay for one day on postpaid account and then they will transfer me to the business one. And guess what. After coming back I received a call from Verizon and they told me that office gave wrong information and I have to have the line for at least 30 days and pay for activation fee, etc. I am completely disappointed by Verizon service by which I want to switch to other careers.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. CORPORATE STORE = LAZY CORPORATE EMPLOYEES!!!The employees at this store deliberately placed a customer on the sidelines so that they wouldn’t have to physically work and call the service lines of Verizon to do exactly what they’re paid to do.Made an appointment online to come in and transfer my husband over from at&t and add my line to his account. When we arrived to the store the service reps just put us in line with walk ins, so just don’t even bother messing with the appointment scheduler. I scheduled an appointment knowing that I would be in the store for a bit of time so I did this as a courtesy to store employees.After waiting 20 minutes after our scheduled appointment time we went into the store just to be told by a manager to stand in the corner and call Verizon phone service and have them do the transfer. Okay first off you have not created my husbands account so how can my number transfer over.While on hold waiting to speak with someone with Verizon phone service another service rep came up to ask if I was done yet. Well the phone service had me on hold so they skipped me in line and helped the other customers after me. After about an hour of sitting on hold another rep checks in on us just to say if no one is answering at the Verizon customer service line there is nothing they can do in store because that is “a different department.”You guys are literally the same damn company!!My husband and I walked out the store after an hour of NO SERVICE!! I spent an hour at the store just for the reps to do nothing for me.
Luckily, I made an appointment to go into the store. I did have to wait 15 minutes beyond my appointment time, but the floor manager kept coming over to me to let me know that hed be right with me. In this Covid nightmare, they are very careful to keep the customers safe. Ive been with Verizon for over 20 years and I wouldnt change carriers on a bet. They are the best at what they do.
It took two hours to be seen and another hour to get taken care of my problem. Then I was sent the a phone repair shop.
My husband went into the store last week with a brand new phone he purchased last week from Apple. The customer service person handled transferring all of his date and activating his phone. Today I went in with a brand new phone I purchased directly from Apple. The rep refused to touch my brand new, in-the-box phone. Wouldnt even touch the box, I had to angle it for her myself so she could scan the box. Wouldnt touch my old phone. Refused to explain why my husband received service last week, but I would not. She claimed she couldnt take the time to help me so they wouldnt have large crowds in the store due to Covid, but I was the ONLY CUSTOMER IN THE ENTIRE STORE. While standing behind the plexiglass, I lowered my mask to unlock my phone and she demanded I put it back on and use the keys to unlock it. I was given an instruction sheet of paper to take home and handle my own service. In the meantime, neither phone would work. What has this world come to? Why would I stay with a company that cannot provide any assistance? Where do I get my w-2 because I just worked for Verizon to do my own service.

This is more of a review Verizon in general and not this particular store. I went to the store to get assistance with an order placed over the phone because I was getting nowhere with them. They just referred me back to phone support since they apparently cant do anything with online or phone orders. All I wanted to do was get the same deal I got today on an order I placed a few days ago. Verizons own website says they will honor sale prices and promos within 14 days as a type of purchase protection. I spent over 6 hours on the phone trying to get the issue sorted and where I ended up was having my old order cancelled and I have to wait a couple days to place the order again with the current promo. And pray that the promo is still going. It utterly amazes me that other companies can resolve issues like this over the phone in minutes when it takes Verizon hours and its still not resolved. If I am unable to place the order in a couple days and get the promo price as I was told by the phone representative, then I will be cancelling my 5 lines and taking them elsewhere. Absolutely one of the worst customer service experiences of my life.
Customer service was helpful, however the wait time in line outside was obnoxious, considering you need to schedule an appointment to go indoors. Hopefully theyll get rid of that policy soon as I dont usually have 30-40 minutes of spare time to wait outside before coming in.
Yesterday I went to this location to pick up a SIM card for my daughters phone, which was already ordered and waiting on me. I attempted to go in, but a person stood at the door waving their phone. I assumed that I needed to call or check in. Meanwhile, my phone alerted me that I could check in for this store using the Verizon app, which I did. People came out of the store, but my daughter noticed that the same man who had waved his phone at me locked the doors. I tried to call the store, but only got corporate customer service. Yes, even though I checked in and was waiting outside, they closed. I went back today and got the SIM card, but they didnt even offer to install it. It was like they were in a hurry for me to leave. This is a true example of no customer service.
Had to schedule an appointment n they let me in the building, right on time. I waited about 10 mins before a customer service representative waited on me. They were very professional, everyone were wearing mask, including myself plus they had lexan shields on all work counters. I had to get a sim card installed for my new prepaid service with Verizon and was only there about 10 minutes after the short wait period. I felt really safe inside the building. Everyone was spaced apart plus they wouldnt let anyone inside without an appointment. Thanks Verizon.

WORST VISIT EVER!! Salesperson guarantees me the 2 iPhone 12 phones I purchased for Christmas would NOT be activated until we did it ourselves on Christmas Day after the surprise of giving them as GIFTS. Sales person did not mention that my husband’s and son’s phone would be DEACTIVATED BECAUSE IT WAS CHANGING FROM LTE TO 5 G!!! Thanks for ruining the surprise for my husband and son. Make sure your are trained and know what you are talking about before misleading customers. Oh and he even sold me the WRING cases for them. Strike 3 - you’re out!!

If I could give a lower score, I would! I ordered a phone for curbside pick up yesterday.The Verizon app clearly says “check in” when you are parked outside the store and onceyou “check in” a staff member will come to you. I waited in my car over 30 minutes for assistance. I get out my car and stand on the curb right in front of the store. No one acknowledges me or approaches me for help. I see several workers inside leaning over the work stations twirling their thumbs. Only one person helped me and it was a tall black guy working security up front. Thank God for this guy. He saw me in distress and asked me if I been helped. I told him Ive been waiting over 30 minutes for a curbside pick up and it look like all the staff inside having a party. The security guy tells me to go wait in my vehicle and he will get someone to help me. Well after waiting another 15 minutes, a sales rep guy comes out and waits at the front of the door. I get out my car again?!!! I approach the guy at the front door and I was given no apology for my wait or nothing. The sales rep was very rude and unprofessional! All together, I waited over 45 minutes for a curbside pick up after I received a notice from them that my product was ready for pick up!! On top of that, I was greeted with unprofessionalism and no customer service whatsoever. I want every staff member at this location to know MY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY PAYS YOUR PAYCHECK!!! So act LIKE IT!! I will never go to this location again!! And lastly, to the tall black guy working security on 07/11/2020, you are amazing & have excellent customer service skills. This particular location needs this guy!!
Was asked to stand outside before being helped. Once i got help, they went and got what I needed and then I was allowed inside. After 2 steps inside door, I was mandated to put a mask on (mind you the workers had just touched all of my stuff without gloves on or sanitizing anything). I refused because half the people in their didnt have a mask on properly to begin in. They said I had to so I pulled my layers of clothes over my nose. They refused that coarse of action and handed me a disposal one. I refused it as they 1) touched my mask and 2) didnt sanitize before touching my mask.They refused service as I was already walking out the door.I have a business account and will taking my business elsewhere as they are 2-faced hypocrites
They have provided an outstanding and professional service to help me on returning my online order although I dont have an existing account with Verizon. They also maintain a good self discipline to keep away from this Covid-19. Its really an impressive experience to stop by your store.

Even during the covid-19 time, I was able to get setup with my new/upgraded phone in about 35 mins. My phone had crashed and I needed a solution quick.I had looked online to narrow down my interested phones. A short consultation, he answered the questions I had, and I was rolling down the road with a new phone.

I went here due to an issue I had with a purchase I made via VZW chat session which I highly do NOT recommend ordering anything that way now to anyone. The tablet purchased was placed onto someone elses account and when calling customer service they said I needed a new SIM card. So, we went to this location & they were c very helpful. We also learned that the tablet wasnt set to activate for almost another 2 days! It shouldve been ready for use the day it came.The customer service guys in this location were very helpful although they couldnt change my activation date. :( Also if anyone cares, they followed all COVID-19 precautions as well. I will visit this store again when the need arises.#LETSGUIDE

I was extremely rushed and constantly told to do certain phone functions at home. I obviously needed help otherwise I wouldn’t have driven to the store. One guy, I need to go back and get his name, was extremely rude because his shift had 3 minutes remaining and he was ready to go. My family has been with Verizon too many years for that lack of service. I will no longer be going to that store and providing my services.
It smelt bad in there and the lady was rude and wasted our time completely. my mom was going to buy me a phone bc i’m not old enough to set up my own account. so in order for me to get the phone we both would’ve had to go in. the lady told us we couldn’t unless we had a mask so we went to a gas station and bought masks. we came back and she says only one is allowed in. when NOBODY besides workers were in there at the time. she made us waste our time by telling us to leave then when we come back she says only one allowed in and then when my mom goes in she says “it’s better to wait til tomorrow”. terrible place i wouldn’t recommend. verizon is naturally a good place to go but this women’s attitude problems needs to get somewhere else.

I was in the store probably a few months back, and if you arent in there buying expensive stuff, the look on the face tells us that they could care less about helping me. Little short asian guy. Not friendly at all or helpful... He is the only one that has made me feel that way in this store.
They was not very knowledgeable about the phones they googled everything i asked and one associate asked my husband to pull his mask over his nose and hers wasnt if rules gonna apply make it for everyone
Awesome customer service by friendly and knowledgeable employees. Best service I have ever had nationwide. There are very few areas I have not had service. And anytime I have a question or problem, I go to the Verizon store and they take care of the problem or answer my question. Terrific company!

Store is clean and when you get help at this store (I think today is the first time I didnt leave before assistance), the folks are nice and helpful. Verizon as a company, though, is one of the worst Ive ever dealt with. The coverage is about the same as our former carrier (I thought it would be better), but Ive spent hours on the phone and through chat trying to get charges corrected, and several times I spent time getting something straight only to find the rep changed my sons plan to a higher cost plan or added Verizon cloud charges. Its been ongoing problems, chat and phone always say heavier than usual call volume or all chat representatives are currently busy. Chat is hard to get to a person unless youre trying to buy something, and calling for assistance keeps telling you while youre on hold to contact them via chat. Verizon is the single worst company Ive ever dealt with, and I will be gone in two years when the device credits are done.
Adam was great! Even though the store was packed, he still took his time in dealing with my situation and did everything he could to make sure my problem was taken care of and got me out of the store with a brand new note9! Thanks Adam!

I visited the Verizon boost inside Costco Buford to get a new phone. The representative there was rushy, he kept asking me why not buying the newest Iphone even though I just wanted the XR. Then I drove to this location and had a great experience with Adam, a solution specialist. Adam was nice, easy to talk to, and efficient. Took me about 10 minutes get everything I need!!!
I am consistently impressed by the service in this store. The people here are friendly and helpful. Say what you want about Verizon as a provider, but they absolutely get how to run a retail phone store.

We have encounter many others staffs, unfortunately, not everyone actually CARE about the after sale customers specially they know they are not getting any credit for helping. He reassured a peace of mind when it came with everything i asked about including cases, plan rates, autopay enrollment and most importantly the monthly bill which most people are concerned about. A representative meets you at the door to determine what you need and who can best help you. They take all the time you need to work on the problem and offer the best solution. Practically no wait time for service. Willing to answer every question I had which is very helpful since I really dont have much success dealing with technology myself.

Came in and signed in; waited patiently to only have the MANAGER skip over me to help a customer that just walked in the door. The manager was told I was next in line right in front of me. Giving two stars because the employee that did help me was nice and efficient.
Came in for a phone case. The employee helped me pick out a case to go with my blue note 8. He wasnt pushy, trying to get me into a new phone. Instead he recommended a screen protector to cover my glass and even asked me questions on how I use the phone to discover that I needed a car charger too. Rick is an allstar employee and a great representation of Verizons high quality customer service. I will be back for all my wireless needs.
Finally decided to make the switch from T-mobile to Verizon due to the horrible QoS I experienced with T-mobile. Adam was very helpful and got me set up with the plan I needed in 15 minutes.
We were only there for a quick minute to pick up a phone but were still treated like welcomed guests.

The person I delt with did a great job helping me and explaining my different cost options. I was quite satisfied with what I had left with. I have bought my phone and a tablet through them and am very happy with both!
Friendly environment! I do suggest you try to call ahead and make an appointment (not sure if its possible) because I had to wait 1.5 hours just to get a phone reordered due to the high volume of customers that day. If youre in a hurry just go another day or early in the morning when theres not many customers there.

My wife went in several months before to get a new phone. Two hours later and after dealing with two different people she walks out with her phone.The other day I went in to have SD card installed. The young woman was so rude I asked for someone else. This one (manager) was just as undignified as the first. (Unapologetic-ally). I thought it might be me so I stepped back and realized that its not what on the outside that counts, but on the inside. I believe they operate on the former. btw its Mr. Jaz to you !
Buford store has been relocated right down the street to a new larger high tech building with easy access and lots of parking. Many associates to help you pick a device and teach you how to use it. Sign up for a workshop, online or in the store.
I came here to ask a few questions and nobody greeted me(possibly because of my age). Then i had to ask to get help because the greeter didnt ask to help me until i heard him asking others if they had been checked in. This is after i sat there and walked around for 15 minutes due to the fact there was little organization and every employee seemed to be busy, except for the greeter. I simply wanted service from a person and now i will go to another store because they seemed to discriminate my age.

I’m very disappointed in My Company account in that there is NO loaner when a phone goes out. Verizon evidently expects that a company employee (no matter the level) can be without a phone while they mail a replacement due to “no inventory “. This is not only a ridiculous lie but also a terrible disservice to any company looking to change their carrier. Think twice....You say youre sorry but not once did you ask if I was up and running. Im not.

Terrible experience. Believe the other low reviews. I was downgrading my phone, because the last one on Verizon lasted just past the warranty expiration. They want to charge an upgrade fee to buy the phone from them, yet nobody could explain the logic behind such a fee. I am not upgrading a phone. To me it just seems like Verizon feels like they deserve an extra thirty dollars for no reason whatsoever. Anyhow, nobody would help out, probably because I wasnt buying a thousand dollar iPhone. Take your business elsewhere.
We were in town due to Hurricane Matthew affecting where we lived. I had Bill help me replace a phone and add another service. He was outstanding and helpful, which was much appreciated because it was a stressful time for me. When I had a problem with the billing amount 2 weeks later, I called Bill and he remembered me. Bill got the situation fixed in no time. Thank you for a great customer service experience Bill and MOG team.

Ordered my phone online for in store pickup. Upon arriving and waiting nearly 40 minutes (they did have a lot of customers) to pick up my wifes new phone, I asked for them to help activate the new phone and transfer her contacts and text messages over to it. I was informed that they couldnt do that and gave me a handout with instructions on how to do it myself. Of course, upon returning home, the phone would not activate and I had to spend nearly another hour on the phone trying to get a person to help me thru my issues. Thank goodness for a friendly helpful phone support.

I went in because I was having problems with my Blackberry. I turned it over to Thomas Toombs who took care of the problem immediately. He was courteous and efficient and handled all of my issues easily. Please ask for him if you visit this location.
This particular location gets a five star rating do to their friendly staff, all of Verizon as a whole would get a four-star rating.
All 3 employees we delt with turned out to be completely incompetent. They did not sign us up for the promotion that we agreed on and had paperwork for. Had to wait 3 billing cycles for the promotion to be applied to the bill and then reimbursed for the previous months (Had no problem with this it seems normal)but after 4 months and hundreds of extra dollars I have had to pay I havent seen my bill change or any reimbursement. Verizon Phone support has no clue what they did because nothing is notated in the account.

Every time I go into a Verizon store I have to go back because I find out I have been lied in one way or another. The company seems to believe because of their coverage they can miss treat the costumers and get away with it. I dont blame the people in the store.Verizon in their infinite wisdom has taken away my ability to to add and remove devices from my account. Now the only way to get that done is to physically go into a store and have them remove the device.I did that two weeks ago and apparently that doesnt work either because when I went to pay my bill I found I am still being changed for that phone.In my opinion if you dont need the coverage, dont use Verizon.
