Place is Run down and has the worst employees.. Rude Rude Rude...I have no idea how this place is still open.Dirty inside, employees smoke cigarettes outside like its a hangout and then come in smelling like an ashtray.. just straight ghetto.. take your time and drive to the next one theres another one only 5 minutes down the road..

Well, Dollar General is nothing to really bragg about. However, this one in Buford Georgia is an exception. Great customer service. Mr. Roger is a awesome customer service guy, very personable. Shelves are always stocked. Even for a coupon queen like me!

Its always nice to go to this Dollar General. There is a pretty good verity in this store. The sales associates are friendly. Great prices. I Love this store.

Not really a bad experience based on the staff... but I had one item, and as I was about to reach the register to check out, a lady with 30 items in her cart really stepped up her pace to make sure she got there first. No problem, go ahead. If the roles were reversed I would have offered to let her go ahead of me, but whatever.As Im standing on the sticker on the floor, denoting where I should stand to follow social distancing protocol with my one item, this guy with either serious mental issues, or under the influence of something other than prescription drugs kinda shoulder checks me and gets behind the full cart lady with his bag of chips.I made eye contact with him and politely let him know that I was in fact in line to be checked out, thinking maybe it may have been a simple oversight on his end and to give him the opportunity to remedy the situation.As multiple item Mary pays and wheels her dooms day supplies away, this dude throws his chips on the counter and starts to walk up to the counter.I slap them aside and place my one item Ive patiently waited to purchase in front of the cashier and noticed her eyes were really wide open, as of she expected to see some domestic kind of Beirut fireworks to go off. Little man was mumbling and shuffling from side to side, but I was able to complete my purchase, and leave the store without further incident.Dont think Ill frequent this location ever again. And parents, educate your kids to be courteous, considerate, and compassionate. Whoever was responsible for the two low class degenerates I ran across here should see about having themselves neutered to help control the a**hole population.

Love shopping here at my local dollar general. Employees are very friendly. Store is clean. As you can tell in my reviews I talk about the clearance section. This store has awesome clearance items. The prices of everything else in the store are reasonable. I always tend to come back to this store.

I dont hate it it just wasnt well-stocked and Ive had that experience with several Dollar Generals lately. Maybe its the pandemic stores havent been well stocked at all otherwise I like Dollar General

Has a giant sign saying masks are required but they absolutely do not enforce it. The employees are often seen wearing their mask below their noses. We are in a pandemic and you are next to a giant church that doesnt require masks and those people often come in. This store is dangerous for peoples health.

This store has good grocery items at good prices.

2weeks and no credit card access, any possible way yall can get this fixed its 2021 credit cards are a must to pay with.

Its typical for a Dollar General store, however, checking out is a complete nightmare! We went there because we only needed 2 items. They were easily found, but we ended up waiting in line for a good 25+ minutes. It completely ruined our objective of running in quickly for a couple items idea. We will not return to this location.

This store has a little of everything. Needed 5 transparent containers for our Christmas decorations, dollar general had some really cute, spacious containers much cheaper than the 4 stores I had gone to prior. One of the lids were damaged, and the Manager gave me a larger, more expensive one at the same price as the smaller ones.Love this store and the service.

Its a one thing thing I do every month and I cant tell you how much it cost the cost of things that are at Walmart or the regular stores like Kroger or Publix first store I go to and obviously its not for food but I go to three different stores in a month for my budget because I make sure that I saved every single $0.50 Ive got its I do every month and I cant tell you how much it cost the cost of things that are at. Think about it do you say $0.50 a day its $15 a month thats a good that a gas in an extra dinner for any family so if I go in and look for a loofah and its a dollar fifty nine I go to Dollar Tree and get it for a buck you have no idea how it adds up

Several years ago this was an excellent store in which to shop. Management changed & now there are no carts, aisles are too full of boxes to walk down, only 1 clerk who is at register. Only go there when desperate. Usually drive to Duluth store now.

I love Dollar General, but this store is always a wreck and the service is slow.

The buford location REALLY. Needs to be cleaned and more stock put out. The asiles are very messed up an cluttered. They really need the DIRT AN HAIR an sticky residue washed off all the counters at the registers an the employees need to be more into their job than the phones. Its really sad to see this. It never was like this at all when David was there as manager.

It is a nice place to buy your basic items but when it comes to customers serving is bad but oh well

The Manager that is there Now is Friendly. She needs more Help, even though you can tell she is tired. She keeps a Positive attitude.

My favorite place to shop when I just need a few things quickly and dont want to deal with a big store like Walmart or Target. My local Dollar General in downtown Buford is always clean with a great selection of items.

I like the store b/c always I find different products, the employees are nice but the only I dont liked is the store look unclean .

Have to wait to long in line when theres only one cashier and theres another employee that waits to open a register. I have patience but employees should treat customers much better always.

Its well stocked. The staff are friendly and personable. Sometimes homeless hang out on the outside. Overall its a typical Dollar General. The downside is the parking lot is shared with 2 churches.

Ive never had a problem sometimes the line at the register gets backed up, most of the time someone would open the other register. A little pricey on some of the groceries but it about a 5 minute walk which is very convenient

So.... I was told last week that a product I need was on order and would be available on Saturday. Went in on Saturday and the guy not only told me he had the item but showed me the item I need in the stockroom. However, he would not sell it to me. He did not want to pull it from the cart it was on because there was other stuff on top of it and I am not allowed to pull it. Its okay for him to take me to the stockroom and show me an item but not to let me pull it? Guess I will be getting my 2 cases of dog food somewhere else everyweek..... and any thing else I want.
