I walked into the Publix at 8:58pm thinking I would get turned away (I forget that due to COVID, Publix now closes at 9pm not 10pm) instead of getting turned away, I was happily welcomed! I quickly grabbed the few items I needed because I knew they were closing. I never felt rushed and was asked if I needed help with anything. I love this new Publix! It’s convenient and always a pleasurable experience.

E originally went into the store to only purchase a cake for our daughter’s 5th birthday. After doing that the manager asked had we ordered food through catering up front. Which wasn’t a bad idea until the day of the party. We ordered 4 trays and went to pick them up at 12 noon as requested I only received three (arrived around 12:30) and told that the wing sampler tray wasn’t supposed to be ready until 3:45 which makes no since if the others were ready to go. Also my daughters cake wasn’t ready either. After an employee fussed back and forth with me about the timing a manager passed by and offered to comp the cake due to their error and have it and the wing tray delivered to my house before the party started.When they delivered the cake the top tier lopsided and the 24 cupcakes below that we asked to be half chocolate and half vanilla were all vanilla. I guess they decided since at that point it was free they could make it however they felt. The wing tray should have majority of some type of garlic parm... which turned out to be something else that no one ate and ended up toasted in the trash along with the pizza roll ups they suggested kids which were entirely too spicy and they didn’t eat them. Over all it was terrible... and a waste of the money we spent .
