The Accurate Appliance company should be never used . All the other stories of past customers are my same experience. They do not show up, are rude when you call, and do not fix the appliance in my case the dishwasher. Finally they lied to the insurance company Assurion and said the work was completed . I can not over emphasize the frustration and possible fraud this company practices. The positive reviews must be employees.
By far one of the most unprofessional places. This is our second issue with them. They send technicians who try to get out of doing any repairs and will blame the customer for the issue. They dont want to be accountable for any work and are outright rude when you call management. They were sent by our insurance company and are a total waste.
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER use Accurate Appliance!! First, the technician didn’t show up the first day he was supposed to repair our dishwasher. After calling the office, I was told that his car broke down. But no one notified us of that, after waiting hours for him. The second day they sent a new technician who told us that he had to order parts and it would take two days to a week for a second appointment to happen to install the parts. When I called after three days, I was told that the work order had been completed and that there was nothing wrong with the dishwasher. The technician said our dishwasher was working fine. So, not only did we receive poor service, they lied, they never took into consideration that we were waiting all day for them in the first place. And when I called to find out where our parts were, there was no apology made about the work order stating that the dishwasher was working fine, when in fact the technician had done nothing to repair it. Stay away from this company! I don’t know how they’ve stayed in business!!!!
Completely useless, do not ever use them. Technician came to the house charge for the visit, and were suppose to order parts which they never did and never come back.
After paying $875, their crew left a mess when they installed an $8500 Thermador range - finger prints everywhere, stuff all over counter (I had to step out and missed their exit). I called the owner the next day and he said he would look into it - never heard from him. I called the next week and spoke with a woman in the office who said she’d look into it - never called me back. I called MD Appliances since they recommended them. MD called them and we’re told they would call me... never heard from them. I called MD Appliances because I hadn’t heard back from anyone - they called them again and we’re told I would receive a call...no call. All I wanted was acknowledgment... and at this point maybe a slight refund... didn’t even get the basic customer service of a returned call.. no respect. $875!! Bag these guys... they must live on referrals ... not too happy with MD either... hope they stop referring Accurate - it’s tarnishing their reputation.
Accurate was recommend to us by MD Appliance, a great company, which meant a lot to us. Marty, the owner of Accurate, came out 2 months before our install and gave us a bid. He was gruff, as other reviewers noted, but, seemed to check carefully that everything was set for install. We had specs for all new Thermador appliances, and a used Thermador fridge on site from a friend, which he said should be no problem. A week before the install I called to say I thought we might be missing some install parts for the fridge, could he come take a look. After numerous attempts to reach him he said it wasnt necessary, it wouldnt be a problem. When his installers came out, who are terrific guys, they immediately recognized we were missing key install parts. After several more attempts to contact Marty, who we never heard from again, his staff said they dont install used appliances and we would have to figure it out ourselves. If he had just been honest in the beginning and said that they dont do these types of installations, instead of trying to make an easy $500 bucks off of us, we wouldnt be sitting in a finished kitchen with no fridge, waiting for weeks to find install parts. Similar errors happened with our vent and gas line. The sad thing is that the staff at Accurate are all great, and obviously trying very hard to compensate for the fact that this guy doesnt do his job thoroughly, doesnt return calls, and doesnt live up to his word. Maybe at one time this was a good company worthy of the recommendations from quality companies like MD, but, it seems to us like they are resting on the laurels of these recommendations, with no concern about the customers left in their wake.
