This was a great place to have breakfast. I was heading to take a friend to the airport and we wanted to get breakfast 1st period the location is quaint and busy. Be prepared to wait if you want to have a seat inside. While you wait, you may decide to have a donut that is freshly made. My meal consisted of a salmon salmon Benedict which was cooked to perfection . Everything there was great I will definitely come again.

Walked here for breakfast from out hotel and love the location, the service, and the food. Donuts are so fresh and delicious. Breakfast was yummy. Omelets and Benedict was really good. Nice people. Oh, I LOVED the hash browns.

This place was fantastic. I had the #7 and my friend had the #6 (French toast) both meals were delicious. My country fried steak was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of gravy. I had some of French toast, so good you didnt even need syrup. The staff was delightful as well. Highly recommend for some traditional breakfast foods...they also have donuts. We were stuffed so didnt get any BUT several people did and they donuts smelled delicious.

I really enjoyed my breakfast experience here. I love breakfast, and I am always searching for my go to. This place works perfect for me as I work nearby and it is in my way in to work. The service was quick the food was really tasty. I will definitely be back. I will be looking to try more items off the menu, even though the hollandaise sauce on the Benedict was flavorful.

The best food and very affordable!! We ate breakfast as a family of 7 for under $65. The breakfast burrito was delicious! We all loved our food. Great staff, attentive and fast service. We went back and got donuts a few days later. So fresh and good also.

The food was good. The onion rings and French fries were unlike the ones I have eaten in other places. Coffee was good. Friendly service. We didnt try the donuts. Theres limited parking in the front of the cafe.

Excellent staff, good food, good price. I forgot my sunglasses here and they still had them the next morning which was a great excuse to go in for breakfast! Only thing I didnt care for is their ranch but thats not enough reason to avoid this gem! Thank you Royal Donut!

We were greeted with a smile and told to have a seat anywhere, the lady got us our drinks and menus right away and food was out in maybe 6 min. My husband ordered the breakfast sampler and I got the breakfast burrito, both were great. We got fresh coffee with as many refills as we wanted & donuts to take with us. Great service, easy parking, great food.

We were staying by the airport and yelped good breakfast places. This place was fantastic. We were able to get a table quickly, we got our food within 10 minutes and it was great. Very fresh, not greasy, didnt taste like a dirty diner grill, it was everything we wanted in a good breakfast place. Chicken fried steak was great. We are from Roseville but we will be back.

I used to work around the corner and would frequent this place some years ago. Stopped in today for breakfast since I had a meeting in the area it was is exactly as I remember. I think they even have the same menu. Quick, fast, friendly service and good food.

The food was really good, the wait staff was good initially, our server was great and perfectly attentive. I cant give a 5 star though, near the end if the meal one of the waitstaff, possibly a manager gave a really unwelcome vibe and it made us uncomfortable enough to leave without getting the dougnuts we planned on to end the meal.

Very disappointing.Poor food quality:1) The syrup was so watered down it had no flavor and no sweetness.2) Belgium waffle was overcooked, dry and cold.3) Eggs overcooked, and cold.Service:1) Had to ask for water multiple times.2) Wait staff is overworked, however, no need to get upset when we point out our food has been sitting out.3) No one followed up after serving food.4) We did not receive all the items ordered.5) While waiting for our bill, they left our dirty dishes at the table opting to clean empty tables next to us.6) They did not adjust the bill for unserved items.

Oh my great little place we were driving home back to Los Angeles and found this place on google and thought we should stop for breakfast and my oh my it was delicious defenetly a thumbs up for me!!!!

Up until today I really loved the place. But due to Covid I was always getting my order to go and today was the first time ever that I wanted to eat inside. Im still in shock, a part of me still refuses to believe it really happened. When I sat down I wasnt given coffee that I ordered and already paid for- I wasnt even offered the utensils! Then I was actually told to go sit at another table by the restroom. And that considering the fact that Ive been supporting the cafe ever since the lockdown started! I will never go there again and I advise everyone else to do the same. But if you do decide to go in, make sure youre wearing Versace and carrying your Louis Vuitton because you will be judged.

The bacon is too well done, and for Chinese people the portion is too big. The French toast is alright, but too oily.

Dont let the name fool you, donuts are actually the smallest part of this incredible cafe. Located in downtown Burlingame it has an old small town feel and look. The staff are friendly and very accommodating, always topping off your coffee, which is very good. Purchased the #18 spicy sausage eggs Benedict. Meal was cooked perfectly and hollandaise sauce was amazing. Reasonably priced and incredible food make this a must if your anywhere near Burlingame.

Go early if you want donuts. We arrived around 11 and had a great breakfast. Was watching them cook and everything looked good. It is an old diner, the place is clean and the staff works hard. Not pricey with big potions. will definitely be back for the burger.

We always come here for our donut adventures. The breakfast burritos are okay just a bit dry. The breakfast menu overall is your standard greasy spoon and will get the job done at an affordable price. They have coffee pots on the warmer so you can quickly swing in on your way to work.

The name is a bit misleading. It’s a breakfast place/diner. Minimal seats. The service is outstanding! The food is fresh, the portions are huge, and the prices are reasonable.Parking is fairly easy on the street or in the parking lot behind the building.

This is my go-to donut shop. They are super friendly, they fill donuts on demand if wanted, and the place is always clean. Last but not least, the donuts are DELICIOUS.

Great food, friendly staff, decent breakfast prices for San Francisco (Broadway Grill...weekends...if you want to spend $15/person for bottomless mimosas until 2pm +$ for entrees/person *$30-$40/person avg). Back to Royal Donut, I always get the chicken friend steak. Corned beef is good. My other half says: ask for the Asian food items not listed on the menu, and they have the best apple fritters. Tip: for those who dont want toast you can substitute for white rice. They have fried rice too, not sure if its extra.

Flew in to San Francisco for the first time. Decided to do a little exploring. Saw this little gem while searching for breakfast. I am so glad I did. Service was great and the food matched. Ordered a hotlink eggs benedict dish with hashbrowns. So freaking tasty. Eggs cooked perfectly. Delicious balance of savory and spice. Hash was incredible as well. Small place with limited seating but Do not hold that against them. Two thumbs way up!

Came here for breakfast. Parking is a little difficult, they have several public meters you can park at, but they only accept coins (traditional style meter). You get a free donut with a Yelp check in, but the selection was very limited, which was a bummer.The food was generally good, my husband ordered their country fried steak. There was not enough gravy so we asked for extra ... they charged us $1 for it.

Classic dinner fare here. Small location with only a few tables. We came early Saturday morning and received prompt friendly service. . Overall good fresh hot food and coffee. Nutella pancakes are delish and fluffy. The country fried steak was crispy and moist. Donuts looked amazing but did not get to try those. Fantastic old school diner with delish food.

Decent donuts. breakfast is pretty basic. Chicken fried steak is fantastic. They now use Square so that means you can pay with you NFC enabled phone thats connected to a payment app.

Fast, friendly and fresh! Breakfast sandwich was great - fresh spinach and real bacon. Fruit cup was piled high with sweet, tasty fruit (a health nod instead of my usual crispy hasbrowns).

Plan to come early or walk around the main street as a lot of regulars flock in around noon. I ordered the benedict and the portions were not small. Dont forget to check in for a free fluffy donut. I also recommend buying a dozen of their various pastries when you leave, if there are any left.
