SO SO SO much love for my tattoo done by Jen Gilley at Rare Breed. Jen was professional, friendly, and did some great work. I asked her to design my piece as an homage to all my various home states, and Im so thrilled with how beautiful and intricate her idea turned out. She was communicative through out the entire process, from while she worked on my design to while she had me in her chair. The studio itself is also clean, well maintained and has a great, friendly vibe. I will definitely be going back when Im ready for number 3 :)

Great Tattoos.

Good tattoo work in a reputable shop. They stay booked out so get an appointment soon. $100 deposit due at booking only so you dont cancel and leave them with your art and no canvas to put it on. They do custom tattoos from small to gigantic. The shop minimum is $50. I know because I have almost two half sleeves from them.

Had my septum pierced by Elizabeth Jinx, she was wonderful! So professional, clean, fast and painless and super sweet. I felt very comfortable with her and confident in her skills and experience. I would recommend her for any piercing needs you may have and I would definitely go back to her! Also I might add Im a medical assistant and in my office I had to go through special training to become the infection control specialist for our office and everything she had set up from prep to packaging to procedure was more than in line with standards used by medical offices and with OSHA which was very impressive !

Jen did my tattoo today and she was amazing! I love her personality and her work. She did an amazing job in making me feel comfortable and helped me through the whole process. I am in love with my tattoo and will definitely be coming back for more!

I was recommended my tattoo artist via Facebook. I asked about specifics about what I wanted in an artist and Jakes name was recommended multiple times. I scoped out his work and the shop. From the time I went in for my consultation to my very first appointment it was great. The atmosphere of the shop is awesome. They treat each other like family and make you feel like that too. Its very clean and professional. The artists are very personable and are great at their job. I cant wait for my next appointment with Jake.

I received a nose piercing back in April. First, the tattoo shop did not smell good. In all honesty, it smelled like a dirty restroom, but since I had no prior experience with tattoo shops, I ignored it. While I was getting my nose pierced, I had to request for my nose to be sanitized, as it was not the norm. I love my piercing now, its just those two things indicated that this place might not be the most sanitary.

Love me some Jinx!! She has done several piercings for me, and is fantastic! She makes you feel right at home, and like family! Shes always great about answering questions, checking, and cleaning your piercings at later visits, as well as jewelry change outs. There is no one that I trust more! My wife and I just finished with Jen and both tattoos came out absolutely amazing! Better than I could have hoped, and she has a really gentle hand. Mine was in a sensitive area near armpit and it hurt less than a simple one Id gotten on my back before. All I can say is wow!

Great please to get a tattoo or piercing!! Artists are very talented!! The piercer is licensed and has been pierving for a long time which is extremely important.**Dont let just anybody stick a hole in your body...make sure they have the right credentials first!!

Jinx did my daith piercings some time ago and honestly, although I am a novice, she is the absolute best! I wouldnt trust my ears to anyone else. She was very professional but at the same time she made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I was so impressed that I brought a friend in for the same piercing a short time later. Keep up the good work!

Walked in to get a price inquiry on a tattoo, and was immediately told I needed to book an appointment because there werent ANY available times until September, even though I couldnt help but notice that all the artists were just chilling on the couch on their cellphones and cuddling with a large pitbull dog. No tattoo machines seemed to be buzzing at all at the time, maybe we were just the wrong type of people.

Love this place, especially Jen Gilley. She is an amazing artist. She did a cover up tattoo for me and it looks amazing. It looks 200% better. I look forward to getting more tattoos from her.

I went in to get a specific piercing so when I asked if they pierced it, I was pleased that the piercer said yes. However, then I sat down and before I could even see the dot where she marked it to pierce, she pierced the wrong one. So now I have a random piercing that I didnt ask for. At least I got it for free since they worked with me, but she didnt seem very knowledgable.

I got my first tattoo there and was pleased with Jakes work. However, every time I have gone back since then, the employees (specifically, the girls) have been completely rude and unprofessional. For example, my husband and I were outside waiting for them to open and one of the girls came out and said in a very snobby/rude tone, Were about to open so if you guys could not hoover in front of our store.. The owner (Jake) was also behind the counter while the girls were being rude and he didnt say a word. I refuse to support a business that is unprofessional and rude to potential customers. You can get ink just as good from other places and the service cant be any worse than here!

Elizabeth Jinx is the best Piercer in Alamance County so of course I follow her wherever she goes for my piercings, Rare breed was already a great shop to begin with but just got better by adding her to their staff.I personally have had several piercings by her including:Septum, which was completely painless.Angel bitesDaithTwo chest Dermals, that I get lots of compliments on.and I will going back to her very soon for another!She does free consults, and is very sterile, very professional and very sweet. I feel completely comfortable and have made a great friend out of my piercer.
