This place was AMAZING. put me in short-notice (there was a cancellation), the piercer was super professional and hilarious and kind. i forgot their name (Nick i believe, really 10/10) but they were super sweet and described the process to me so i felt like i was in good hands. i was! their piercing job was amazing, quick, and straight. if you have any questions about this place, let me put them at ease - they’re amazing. and the front desk person is literally the cutest person in the world :P

Let me start out by say Nick is AMAZING. My friend and I had appointments to get our nipples pierced, and our appointment ended up being with Nick. He was both incredibly professional and laid back. All around enjoyable guy. My friend and I were both very nervous about getting the piercings, but with 13 years of experience under his belt, Nick was able to calm our nerves with ease. He talked us through everything, answered any questions we had, and performed the piercings so fast we barely knew it happened. Both he and his work station were very clean and well organized. It was by far the best piercing experience I had ever had, and Ive had a lot!

My friend and I went here to get piercings from Nick and he was absolutely amazing. He was so comforting and personable it was a really great experience.

Ive been going there ever since Georgie was there! Great job. I will say from experience to not base your opinion off of one person you interact with. Just got my nose pierced there and I absolutely love it.

Ive had 3 ink pieces done in this parlor over the past 10 years by Jason Tooth. Clean facility and attentive staff made my experiences here enjoyable. Havent gotten any piercing done myself, but brought a friend to have her upper lip frenulum done and she said it went awesome. Im sure they get tired of tatting and piercing all the newbie college kids in town, but they still do it with professionalism and attention to detail. Definitely reputable and well known in the industry (BILL). My opinion, best shop in town.

Anthony is hands down one of my favorite artists. He really gets a handle on the person you are. The environment is also very laid back and relaxed.

I wanted my belly button pierced for the longest time. No tattoo places would get back to me. First call I did with yankee tattoo they answered second ring! Nick did my piercing. He was patient with me since it was my first time. He explained everything i need to do to care for it and what not to do! i really enjoyed and had a good time talking with him. He was very nice and funny. He was clean, professional and gentle. I would definitely go back to him for any other piercings!

If you are in Burlington STEER CLEAR of this place. My tattoo was quite bad to say the least and had many botched lines. I asked for a simple geometric piece and I got jipped hard. Save yourself some time and money and head over to Event Horizon. They were much more professional and fixed mine up. Dont go here people.

I got a double helix piercing on my left ear and a third lobe piercing on each ear by Nick. Staff is extremely friendly and informative. Nick is a great piercer, able to give easy information quickly as well as additional information through a pamphlet to take home. The process of piercing was simple as well, with Nick telling when to inhale and exhale. The price was also reasonable too! $70 for double helix and $30 for the two lobes totalling to $100. Ill be returning in the future when I decide to get an industrial piercing as well as tattoos.Thank you for the great service!

This is a piece (not quite done) by Jim. It started as a cover up and to my own fault I hadnt gone back for 4 years after he did my initial outline. We started in on the color yesterday and after 4 years Jim remembered who I am and the outline before seeing it again. The crew there is friendly, comfortable to be around and incredibly talented. In the hours I spent there just for this I have seen many first tattoos and the artists do a great job making everyone feel comfortable. The top of this picture is where my cover up is. It was a dark, ugly tattoo I was embarrassed about. After being with Jim a few times and his ideas based around my interests, he showed me this drawing and it was a go. Im very excited to finally finish it and would tell anyone to go there with confidence. I had a piercing changed out there as well and again same level of service. I would check out their Facebook page to see the different artists styles but know that no one would disappoint.

I was just in Burlington on business and decided on a whim to get second holes in my earlobes (again - after a failed first attempt at a piercing pagoda back in high school). After an internet search of local tattoo/piercing shops and a deep dive into Yankee Tattoo’s Yelp, Google, and Facebook reviews, I decided to swing by to see if they took walk-ins. I’m so glad I did! Nick was a total peach: very informative, fun, and funny. While I’m no stranger to tattoos and the occasional piercing, my pain threshold could be accurately described as “zero”. Nick talked me through the entire process plus aftercare, and the piercing itself was pretty quick and painless! Highly, highly recommend, and after these bad boys heal up, I’m hoping to be back again for my 3rd holes and - if I’m really feeling crazy - a cartilage piercing or two. Thanks Nick!!

Absolutely outstanding! I got a daith piercing, and was pretty nervous. Nick, with over 10 years experience, explained everything in depth of what exactly to expect, and how to treat it. He completely built up my confidence and it went really smoothly. He also did One of my lobes that was not pierced, and made sure that it was completely symmetrical with the piercing in my other lobe. Highly recommend Yankee Tattoo!! Thank you so much Nick!!

I recommend going to him. He is there most weekdays. Then I went to Eric for a tattoo. He does amazing work. He really does a lot of research and asks a lot of questions of what you want. He takes great pride in his work. Im so pleased with my tattoo. And he still has more to finish up. Cant wait!!!!

I was hoping to have special tattoo done but was unable to do so at this location. Customer service was good and would have used this location if I had been able too.

Best tattoo shop. Professional and clean. Everyone feels like family, wonderful and friendly even outside of the shop. My mom travels from Philadelphia just for Bill, the owner, who specializes in nautical tattoos. All the artists are super talented and skilled beyond the classic Americana tattoos they are known for.

Such a great tattoo shop! The staff was able to squeeze in my partner and I on the weekend and were so appreciative that they did. Bill and Eric did such great work - Eric did a really detailed tattoo for me that I am so happy with. Bill was such a kind soul and worked hard to make sure my partner could get his tattoo, he even stayed late for us. Bill has so many great stories and it was a joy talking to him. Bill even helped recommend places for dinner since he could tell we were both getting hungry and didnt know the area. I would 100% go back here for a tattoo anytime Im in Vermont. :)

I found the staff cold. And not really into my tattoo as I would have liked. I got a arm band done. One all the way around my arm. Just under my chinese symbol of dream. My friend and I had found a design I liked and altered it to suit me. And brought it to have put on. The girl that did me. She seemed to be in a different head space then being there. I dont think I will be going back there because of it.

Got my first tattoo done here with Bald Bill. He was incredibly easy to work with, and obviously knows his stuff. Total master of tattooing (hes been doing it for over 35 years). Gave me a fair price that was less than the hourly rate wouldve caused me to pay, since it took much longer than he expected. Very friendly environment the entire time, from drawing consultation to the final results. I recommend this shop to anyone in the Burlington area, Bald Bill is a hidden talent up here in Vermont. Very clean, set up my machine right in front of me, and took care the entire time. I will most certainly be back for more work in the future. Go here!

I took my son to get a consult on his first tatoo and they were very short with answers and dismissive. When we made the appointment for the consultation they seemed very nice and told us that the artist would sit down and discuss the tatoo, draw something up then make the appointment for the real thing. We get there 10 min early and they send us away for starters then when we finally get to talk to the artist we really got the idea he did not want to be bothered. He did not offer to sit down and brainstorm instead he just said send me the pic in a email and I will draw something up then you can come back to see if you like it. Something we could have done over the phone. It was just a poor way to handle business.

Out of all honesty this shop isnt that bad. They will do alright tattoos and when I say alright dont expect to be getting something you see on tv. These people tattoo in a raw style. They dont know the meaning of gentle and really do not give a care in the world of what YOU want they are not into it unless it fits them. Unless you are in the sons of anarchy dont even bother going here. The staff is rude from the receptionist at the desk to the artist in the back. I could tell none of them wanted to be there which is a recip for disgusting work on your body. Let alone they over charged me by about 60 dollars. This place didnt only make me not want to go back it made me not even want to get another tattoo.
