Beautiful and nicely laid out bookstore with something for everyone. The sections are well labeled and it is easy to find the type of book you are seeking. They also have moleskin and other nice journals, pens, calendars, and other office supplies. In addition, they have graphic novels, glasses, and games.There are bargains in the basement.

The atmosphere of this bookstore is intoxicating; I wanted to dwell in there forever. But alas! You can find any book you want or need in here, or the friendly staff will help you find it. Nothing heals my soul more in these strange COVID times than the bookstores reopening.

I love this bookstore. I live a few blocks away so its great to be able to go whenever I want. Im not even a big reader but I love reading the handwritten notes under many of the books with their reviews. And browsing. They also carry really good hand made things from Peru and equador that here kept me very warm this winter.

This is a large multi story book store. It has a good selection at good prices. If they dont have what you are looking for they would be able to order it for you. Staff was pleasant and overall a very clean organized store.

Theres nothing like a local bookstore. Phoenix has an amazing selection of new books, with friendly staff to help you find anything youre looking for. I love the little had written reccomdation notes on the shelves.

This is always a must stop for me. Great book selections with lots of reviews posted. Great paper and journal selections. And I always pick up some fountain pen ink when I am here. Will be back!

Same as a Borders bookstore in my opinion.

We recently visited Burlington and stumbled upon this nice bookstore while trying to find a place to retreat to from the downpour. Definitely a good place to be stranded for half an hour. I always look for the bargain section at bookstores and the one they have here was pretty solid. The regularly priced items were great too. And finally, customer service was friendly and helpful.

Dont let the appearance fool you. It looks clean cut and a little bland, but this bookshop has an amazing selection carefully curated by kind-hearted owners. They also welcome dogs!

My favorite book store in Burlington! The staff is super helpful and will order any book you need, if they dont already have it (which is unlikely lol). Its just a quick stroll from church street and well worth taking the extra 20 steps if youre already down there!

A great selection of new books and book store ephemera. The staff is so friendly and attentive you may feel like you are being attacked at first, but welcome them. They are simply feral booksellers who want to help you find exactly what you want.

One of the best bookstores in Burlington. One of the last independents, so worth supporting. Also, Phoenix has events with author readings & signings. Ask to be put on the mailing list. There is one equally great location in Essex. Worth the visit if you are waking Church Street - just right around the corner and across from the public parking lot. Highly recommended!

What a great time walking through an actual book store - and they have a great bargain basement too!

So many books something for everyone no matter your age . They also have calendars, stationary, book markers including 3D book markers, t-shirts, reading clip on book lights, coffee cups, some trinkets and figurines as well downstairs bargain section, atlases, state maps, large desk calendars.
