Very nice two story L.L. Bean with some great deals, and lots in stock. The customer service was also very nice and personable. They didnt have what I was looking for that I had seen online, but they did have lots of other good items.

Very helpful when I found shoes I liked but not the right size. And they were sale shoes so they never have extras in the back, they checked in their system and honored the sale price! Shops to NY for less than $2, a steal! Other than that, its a quality store.

I don’t recommend visiting the Burlington LL Bean if you have small children or need easy access to an elevator. The mall entrance is closed but there is no sign outside the mall entrance letting customers know that. I unknowingly walked all the way through the mall, wasting precious time especially as a mother of a small child. There needs to be a sign outside the mall entrance! I’m not the first person to point this out. Why isn’t there a sign?Then when you walk around to the street entrance you are upstairs and there’s no elevator inside the store. You must ask to be let out the locked doors so you can go downstairs if you have a stroller or wheelchair. Oh and there is no public restroom access. I know there is a restroom as I’ve used it years before. After asking nicely if my infant son and I could use the restroom I was told no for security reasons. That’s a flimsy excuse at best. I’m sure you have security cameras and we were paying customers. Not family friendly! I highly recommend saving yourself the headache and just shop online! People need access to a restroom, pandemic or not.

They refused to let my husband who has a medical condition called ulcerative colitis use their restroom. Even though he has a medical card saying hes allowed to use any restroom in a public area. When he asked where the closest bathroom he could use was they told him to go wait in line at a restaurant to see if he could use theirs.

2 levels of shopping. Great quality clothing items and gadgets you cant find anywhere.

Worst LLBean store. If you walk a long way through the mall, you get to a door that says the entrance. It says to use the other entrance but doesnt tell you where. No public restrooms even if youre a customer

Clothing is well made

Firstly, the door to access the store from the Church St Marketplace was locked and no notice given when entering thru the mall entrance door and the long hallway off of Church St to L.L. Bean.Understandable due to Covid 19 ( need to keep track of people in the building) but could have at least put up a sign letting folks know that this entrance was closed.Secondly, after spending some time shopping in the store and not being allowed to use their restroom was very unprofessional and just plain rude. Needing to use the facilities while not having access to the Mall rest rooms made this even more unpleasant. We were told they dont have bathrooms which we knew to be a lie.There in the basement of the store.Being told you can use the restroom at the Hotel VT down the road or City Market up the street doesnt speak well of a billion dollar company looking to enhance the customer experience. What if you were an elderly person of someone with a child ?The Slogan Be an Outsider must relate to using the restrooms at L.L .Bean Because youre not allowed to use them inside the store.As a loyal L.L. Bean customer, who has always loved and supported there products I will now give second thought to spending my money there.It is no wonder why people shop less and less at brick and mortar stores and purchase exclusively via internet. Needless to say I wont be going back anytime soon.

Just receive the 2 lined hurricane shirt I ordered,I am disappointed I bought them even do they were much more expensive from the last one I bought but the quality is not the same they feel much cheaper so for me it close the deal price up quality down that is not the LLBean I first got to know 30 years ago I will no longer shop your store. The store needs to be flipped. ..kids section should be upstairs. .they have decided to place children in the basement.issue being to get down there you have to step down 40 stairs...that are steep( law suit)..They would benefit from more natural light in the basement as well regardless. Outdoor stores need to bring the outdoors indoors and not with cheese pictures of nature.

I was hoping to purchase a pair of womens boots. Unfortunately they had a very small selectionStaff was very friendly and helpful. My biggest disappointment is they have no restroom at their store and only one with a very long line in the mall. We would have stayed to shop but after traveling an hour to get to their store it was not possible. I feel they should be more concerned about keeping their customers comfortable so they will stay at their store.

Timeless Quality outdoor gear

Probably the most successful anchor stores in the Church Street Mall (the inside mall off Church Street). The is the L.L. Bean catalog come to life, but in a well-maintained and fun environment. This store is known for quality goods, but because of the location tends to be quieter. Great window shopping or great for a shopping spree! Highly recommended!

Great store! Very helpful, friendly staff. Great sale right now on fishing equipment and gear (20%). And they offer a military discount as well. Im going back on Tuesday night for a free fly tying seminar. Definitely will be shopping here frequently!

The best. LL Bean at this location is trying to tailor itself to the Boston crowd. As a result they have a lot of Bean boots here. You can also get your own laces for the boots you buy. There also have standard clothes and key items. It is a small store and they dont really have any gear.

Great product. Inconsistent service. Usually a display for you to order online via cashier. Too bad. I prefer LL outlet at Lake George. Stopped giving Christmas Gift cards..as they now added shipping charges. Seems company in worst enemy. No bathroom at this location. Closed do to drug sex issues. Sends you to local fast food restaurant. inconsistent staff as for friendliness. But great product!!!!

It’s sad that their customer service has declined so much. They used to have the best service. Now it’s very poor. Quality of the products have declined tremendously as well. I give them 5 years of this poor service before they close. We spend $1000 a year, but now we are done.

Its nice to have a local L.L. Bean shop here in downtown Burlington. They always have excellent service and stock. I like being able to see the products in person rather than buying online.

This store is well organized and the employees are a rare breed in the retail industry. I went to replace a tote bag that my dog destroyed. I was able to quickly get direction as to where to go for help. I was escorted to the section where I could select a replacement. After physically selecting the bag with me, the employee walked me through the monogramming process and offered to ship the tote to my house in order to save me a drive to the store. I wish I could have been on a shopping spree.

Whats not to love about the namesake of Leon Leonwood? Great selection of nearly all things outdoor related. Easy to lose track of time meandering the aisles in this store.

Simply stated, my only shopping experience in this store was a great disappointment, in terms of both availability of items in common sizes and less-than-exciting sale prices. L.L.Bean should be a go-to for the types of items the store carries. In Burlington, however, Id recommend a number of other stores over this particular L.L.Bean store.

Good selection of mens and womens clothing. In cooler months, the store can be uncomfortably warm inside, making trying on outerwear difficult. The store doesnt label mens and womens shoes, leading to some confusion. They also dont carry wide sizes in-store for their boots.

The employees know their products, theyre polite, they genuinely care about your customer experience, and most importantly I left as a happy consumer. Im poor, but I know the value in good clothing :) Ill be warm at work thats for sure. Thanks.

Good customer service. Not everyone is knowledgeable though. Bought a jacket last year and had a hard time cleaning it, went there a month ago and the suggestion ruined the jacket. So I called to see what to do and the man on the phone told me of a product they sell to clean it with. They gave me a new jacket but it all could have been avoided if the people are trained better on product care. I bought the washing solution this time. Lisa

Poor quality shoes. Fell apart in 6 months. Customer satisfaction did not care. Why pay more if theyre just going to fall apart anyway. Very dissatisfied

Not so much of a review of the store, but of the brand. LLBean has changed their lifetime return policy and will no longer take back older items.I understand the change, but when you sold something, even if it was years ago, and at the time advertised a lifetime guarantee, you should stand by it. If you want to change it for newer items that you are selling, that’s fine. But don’t sell an item with a “lifetime” guarantee and not honor it when it’s time to cash in that policy.It’s like buying a car with a 36,000 mile warranty and finding out that the brand changed it to 10,000 miles after your purchase!LLBean still makes great stuff, perhaps not quite the quality it was in the past, and the high prices remain. Why should I buy LLBean when I can buy North Face and for the same price and actually get a warranty that won’t change and cheap out!

Nice store. Nice location. If you know L.L.Bean then you will recognise the inside of this store. Lots of great clothing, accessories and camping gear. I like the fact that you can enter from the front or the first or second floor of the mall. The atmosphere is nice and the workers help you out. The customer service manager at the burlington location will not take returns. He said that their satisfaction garuntee was not a garuntee in my situation with no reason why. I bought the items at ll bean and they were not soiled. Never have I been treated so poorly by a store associate, let alone a manager.

A nice store with a lot to offer, though they didnt have a great selection of boots for people with large feet, so be wary if you need large sized shoes.
