I thought that 2 hours was a little long for an oil change and the inspection of the vehicle. The technician who inspected the car indicated that there was no visible damage to any of the four tires. However, the right front tire was damaged. There was a piece about one square inch and a quarter inch deep missing from the outside tread that could easily be seen. Now I am not as confident that the entire inspection was done carefully. I did mention this at the time I paid the bill to make sure it was on record.

(This is regarding service)Sometime last week, stopped into Ford Lucas to arrange an oil change. Approached service rep, Liza who created an unpleasant and discouraging experience for me as a customer. Liza’s energy was very unwelcoming, stale, and incredibly arrogant. I was made to feel as though I had been a bother for asking questions pertaining to having my oil changed. Meanwhile, I had just recently left the Ford dealership located on route 38 in Lumberton where the staff and service was humbly impeccable! David in particular was enormously welcoming and efficient with service from the moment i stepped into the dealership. He even offered to service an oil change for me on the spot after completing my appointment that day. Something felt right about the energy at this location right off the back! Not to mention, the initial phone call made a week prior to schedule my appointment was even delightful.So because Ford Lucas on route 130 is my “mother” location where I purchased my vehicle, I figured I’d just continue scheduling my oil changes there. Hence after the experience with Liza, I’d rather not go back to having service done with some of these miserable people and would much rather patronize giving service to the Ford staff located on route 38 where they take pride in creating high-level personalized experiences with their customers!!!

Received the attached safety recall letter in the mail for my girlfriends 2015 Ford Edge and scheduled a service appointment for July 17th at 8am, to make the repair. When we walked in the dealer, they notified us that they didn’t have the parts and they were on backorder. We made the appointment 1 month ago, a little perplexed no one had the courtesy to let us know before driving 35 minutes with 2 vehicles. A little turned off.

I came to this Ford because it was the closest to my house. I took my car because it needed to get a fuel injector replaced. The lady called and confirmed that that was the issue and also told me the alternator needed to be switched. She gave me a price on the cost to get it fixed. I declined and later decided to just get it fixed. I went in the next day to pick up my car and had to pay a totally different price which was really unacceptable!

Had a great experience working with Chris T and Tom K to get a new customized Ford Ranger. Turned out better than expected. They were easy to work with and responsive. I will definitely recommend them.UPDATE: 11/11/2020 I needed some service done on my new vehicle and got the pleasure of working with the Service Department (Emily and Eric J). I primarily worked with Eric J, but on occasion, Emily would take my calls. She was courteous and genuine. Eric was also courteous and genuine, however he went FAR above and beyond what I expected from any customer service representative. He really took his time to actively listen to my reasons for being there. He was highly communicative throughout the few days I was without my vehicle (he also secured a loaner for me). I would rate Erics service as leaps and bounds second to none. The atmosphere in general was relaxing with good conversation in between. If you need service for your vehicle go see Eric at Lucas Ford. I know I wont be going anywhere else.

I just purchased a Certified Pre-Owned Platinum F150 from them and was very pleased with the level of service I experience. The truck was immaculate! My sales manager Joe has proved to be courteous, trustworthy and attentive to I wanted in a vehicle. I even appreciated the conversation I had with the Finance Officer, who was a former Marine like myself as we swapped stories. The entire transaction was low pressure and personable. After searching for a used vehicle for a few weeks I came across, a vehicle that had every amenity I desired, that was in my price range! I was able to easily and promptly verify the vehicle was available for purchase and schedule a test drive online. When I arrived, the vehicle was clean and parked in front of the showroom waiting for me. I was greeted by salesman Joe Wilson, he handed me the keys, offered a route to take the test drive on and I went on my way. Once I decided on the vehicle, the entire purchase process was a breeze. We came to purchase my husband a new Eccosport. The contracts was ready to go. While we was sitting there my husband comes in and says how he LOVED the new Ford Escape on the showroom floor and He loves the new body they have now. Went to Lucas Ford because of good reputation and you can trust their opinion. 50K service for my Ford Escape, where a dealer had claimed several oil leaks (one (timing Chain Cover) claimed was leaking, and repaired for about $1000. Others were valve covers and transfer case leak (about $1,400 to repair) Kind of got a too few miles for this and had Lucas check out the car that received a clean bill of health. Bill, the service manager, seemed honest and helpful. Lucas is away from my house, but the do have a well earned reputation and worth the travel time for honesty. Not able to stop by and wait (which is why I dont use Dealership service much).Vey satisfied and happy to have gone to Lucas, Even had a Veterans Discount

Now I have to deal with police reports and motor vehicles. I even told them.Not even a letter from them to tell expass.SO I DONT THINK YOU WANT ME TO RATE.

Stay away from the Service DepartmentI was their costumer since 2014 until last week. I took my car for an A.C repair. Their service technician, Alex, told me that it will be a total of $2150 to fix it and I was charged $174 for the diagnostic. I took the car to an AC shop and it cost me $150 to fix the problem. I called Alex back because I thought the difference in prices is outrageous and to be honest i felt cheated by the dealership. I was expecting at the very least an apology but instead Mr. Alex took the wrong approach. Apparently he couldnt control his laughter and told me that this was not his problem. I asked to speak to a manager and her told me NO and I am not giving you any money back. I demanded for a manager at which time he told me he left for the day. I asked for the manager to call me the next day and he said no, if you want a manager youll call back and as it stands today i never received a call. To make it worse i heard him laughing as he was hanging up the phone. Now I am wondering if every big job they have done for me was legit. And this is not the first issue with them and shame on me for continuing to give them my business. Two years ago my wife went in for a recall in the charging port in our vehicle. She had our new born in her hands. They made her go back 4 times between parts and service. At the end a service member push a huge box in her one free hand while he carried on his conversation with co workers. She had to walk out with a baby, box in hand while they chat during work hours. I am leaving this alone but I will share with all my neighbors at Riverwalk and my co workers in Fort Dix and warn them to stay away.

Great overall experience. Searched for weeks online and they had the best price on the exact SUV I was looking to get so I took the hour trip up to check it out. I appreciated our sales guy Bill Owens and the manager on that day, too. Final price was very good with no surprises, financing was quick, no pressure and a very good rate. Had an issue with the vehicle that really bothered me when I got it home and they took care of it, even though they probably didnt have to. I wouldnt hesitate to go there again for my next vehicle.

I brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance. No problem with the work done. However, I noticed my vehicle sitting for 1-15 minutes waiting for the mechanic to work on the rear brakes. Also, check-out takes too long. I watched the mechanic park my vehicle. The service writer knew I was waiting. I watched the service writer use the telephone twice, before completing my paperwork so I can pay and leave. He knew the work to be done and gave me a price. The paperwork should have been completed, instead of waiting an additional 10 minutes. I advised the service writer of my issue. He blamed a slow computer system .

The service advisor Tom K was very helpful. I came in for an oil change and he had my vehicle in and out without 45 minutes. He also advised me that I had a few recalls that needed to be taken care of by Ford. I couldnt do it that day so I rescheduled for the following week. The tech that serviced my vehicle placed a plastic covering on my seat and floor and took good care of my Explorer. Great team of workers at Lucas Ford. 👍On January 20, 2021, I once again needed to have my Explorer in for an oil change, tire rotation and tune up. I asked over of the Service Managers, Tom K., if he could check the drivers side control arm as there was alot of play in the steering wheel. He called me back and advised me that the drivers side control arm was deteriorated and possibly in danger of falling off. So I told him to go ahead and fix that issue as well. He and the service team at Lucas were great. They took care to cover my seats and steering wheel with plastic coverings and when I picked up my Explorer they had it cleaned for me. They had it back to me when promised. Great Service Dept here!!On June 24, 2021, I once again had great service at Lucas Ford. I went in to have my oil changed and they advised me that my air filter needed changing so I also had that done. They actually fixed my front flap under my bumper that was hanging off at no charge. Great Service dept.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. They did excellent work, but it does take a long time. We were there for about 2.5 hours to have the oil changed, fluids checked, and tires rotated, but we did come with plenty to occupy ourselves. As far as their work, they get 5 stars, but due to the time it took, they get 4.

I am giving Lucas Service Department a 2 Star rating due to the fact that they did fix the vehicle right the first time. However customer service was extremely disappointing. When you walk into the service department, the two service writers (Caucasian & African American) just stare at you. No Hello or How Can I help you. The morale/spirit was extremely low. The service person who I had (Cant recall his name was very short & sarcastic in his response to general questions. Unfortunately I will be doing business with either Miller Ford or Holman. Hopefully their customer courtesy & service will be better sooner than later.

They said it’s not a safety issue and I can drive the truck.I know it’s a minor problem (windshield wipers) but after spending a lot of money for the truck I expect everything to work.

When I went to get it inspected I came to find out that the tinted windshield was not legal in NJ and it could not be inspected. I contacted Lucas and they had me bring my truck in and they took care of the tinting on the windshield. This was almost two years after I bought the truck. Thats a long term commitment to great service!

Was quoted a price to replace 2 batteries on my F-350.When I showed up for my appointment, I was given another price.After waiting a long time I qas given another price, still more than the quote. So the Service associate went to talked to someone . When she came back I was told ok we will change the batteries for the quoted price. After about an hour my truck is done. I pay my bill at the waiting area. Then I am given the statement of service. I needed to get back to work. After I had a minute to read the statement of work. It did not look right. I looked at the batteris installed, were the wrong size. There other items on the statement that didnt make sense.In short I will not return to Lucas Ford

I am writing this review as a follow-up to a survey I completed directly with Ford. I recently purchased a certified 2017 Expedition from here and the sale was seamless. The salesman Joe was very helpful, courteous and made sure all of our needs and wants were met. The only issues I had began after taking delivery of the vehicle. As part of the sale agreement, there were some items that needed to be fixed and serviced. When I brought the vehicle there to have these items addressed, it was quickly realized that the vehicle would have to be with the dealership for an extended period of time. If not for the great communication of the salesman Joe, this would have been more of a disaster than it was. The loaner vehicle I received was unreliable and after bringing that to Joe’s attention, he made sure to have a different vehicle delivered to my home to swap out the original loaner vehicle, even though I reside almost an hour from the dealership. Joe has been the only reason I would continue business at this dealership because he is the only one who has communicated with me each step of the way.

Service department very rude took 4 hours for a standard oil change!!! When asked why the representative on the phone got mean snippy and said I shouldn’t be servicing your vehicle anyway!!! Also when I dropped vehicle off the mechanics were all just joking around sitting around doing nothing will never ever bring my vehicle to get serviced with this dealership ever again. William Owens called me as soon as he arrived at Lucas, gathered necessary information over the phone and was able to get approval for a new Taurus in about 30 minutes which included time spent gathering information from me! Service staff was professional however the pricing is sky high. A brake job should never cost over $1800 dollars.Also, itemize the hours on the receipt. I was charged $1,000 for Labor with not accountability for the work time. Mechanic should have to log their time and it should be available to the customer.I got to Ford for service because I’ve owned Fords all my life and want/expect good work to be done.Obviously, I don’t mind paying for good work however the customer deserves to know exactly what time was spent working on the vehicle.Accountability makes the difference!

Awesome buying experience! Joe was amazing. He stayed past closing for my fiancé. Great customer service! I walked in to get the new car detailed, Joe was waiting for me. I was looking for a very specific car when an example popped up at Lucas Ford. I reached out and connected with Joe Wilson. I live about 200 miles from the dealership and had a lot of questions before making the trek. Joe was extremely patient and went out of his way to provide me all details (including taking measurements to ensure it fit properly in the trailer I was coming to get it with. He kept all promises and was even extremely flexible with his schedule to accommodate my 200 mile trip to come pick up my car. The price was very competitive and completely worth the drive to go look at the car. It was exactly as Joe had described to me. Joe even followed up at the end of the evening to make sure we made it home safe. I would certainly do business with Joe and the dealership again. Unlike any other dealership experience I have had before (in a good way of course).

Lucas Ford always demonstrates a very professional, yet family like atmosphere every time i bring my car in.
