Such a cool store, that really reminded me of a Bed, Bath, and Beyond sort of store, but it had so much more unique and cool items within it really is a cool store to explore.
It must be the perfect place for college students and people getting their first apartment. Anything for a home they have, including kitchenware, furniture, garden supplies, cups and plates, lighting fixtures. Etc. They also have a small section for pet toys and treats and a section of toys. Great place to find a small variety of stim and fidget toys! You can easily get lost wandering around this store, I spent probably a half hour looking at everything.
Had lots of fun stuff to browseand many useful items too
Wonderful store for all kinds of stuff...i love the bohemian style tapestries n furniture pieces so unique cant b found anywhere else! Love to toy and incense sections as the selection is extraordinary!Very clean and 3 floors of bliss to shop from.
I can always find something fun/interesting at Homeport. Its a great place to find gifts too!
I think this is one of the best stores in Vermont. Has a LOT of home decor (4 floors). Will definitely leave with something!
Super cute store with tons of home stuff. Definitely recommend checking it out if youre in the area
They have everything. Literally everything. Cashier was really nice.
Love this place for all your kitchy needs.
Great place to browse on a rainy day. Always leave there with something.
Ive been going here for years, there is always something wonderful, interesting, useful, delicious to see and purchase.
This store has EVERYTHING! Kitchen gadgets, utensils, rugs, swings, fidget toys, cards, & even twinkle lights! Very friendly staff to boot!!
Do you remember Pier One Imports? Think of that but locally owned with a lot of stuff to browse through.
Kitchen ware galore!! If you need it, its here!
They have almost everything! And at great prices. But we could not find a baster for the life of us.
This is amongst the most disappointing reviews I’ve ever had to give. I used to be such a huge fan. However, I simply cannot support a business who wants to criminalize the homeless community. Many members of the community, particularly the youth/young adult demographic will be boycotting your business and many others. A demographic that you and many of the businesses lobbying for this rely on due to your proximity to UVM and Champlain college. We are in one of countries worst economic/ unemployment crises, and you can’t find it in your hearts to respond with empathy? If you thought the homeless population was hurting your business, just you wait. Small business are dropping like flies during corona, and those that don’t support this hateful agenda will likely be next.
HomePort is simply amazing. They have all the odd and ends a home/apartment store needs plus some cool things in between. Their located right on church St so there is plenty of parking on street and the parking garage. The staff are friendly and happy to help point you in the right direction and are also not bothered when you start unfolding all the tapestries, they have lots of great tapestries this is the one I got looks great on an old futon.
Super friendly team and very cool decorations & gifts
I ordered online and made a mistake with the shipping costs. Mark e-mailed me and told me it was no problem. I arrived at the store and he had my order ready. When I got back to my car I realized it was exactly what I ordered but not exactly what I wanted. So I called him and he met me at the front door with several other choices. I picked one and he reconciled the cost difference. He was so great to work with: easy, outgoing, accommodating. Hoping this business survives The Big Pivot. They deserve to.
Most amazing. Wonderful store.
Cool store
There is so much stuff in there I cant wait to go back and check out the whole store.
My first stop for kitchen supplies.
Awesome old timey store with lots of neat stuff and atmosphere
Great place
Cool store with lots of fun stuff. Tone of practical things too for homes. Friendly staff makes a good place to shop.
Fun selection, live music, a little crowded given the times.
If the nicest staffers in town and a great selection of items, from tiny toys (my mission today) to high-end cookware and furniture plus great decor. A great place to shop
Homeport, if you ever close down my family will be very upset! This store is like an amusement park, you can tour it and just enjoy everything they have to offer, they encourage you to do so! My family and I always spend many hours and have a great time when we are there! Keep up the great work Homeport.. Do yourself a favor and try not to miss this one!
Excellent selection of cooking and baking tools and equipment. We found a great sale tea pot here.
I love this shop, theres a little bit of everything and I always go there first if Im looking for a curious or old fashion kitchen tool. (Most recently a replacement for a lost creamer for my evening tea set) it can be a bit daunting of your looking for something specific and dont want to just get lost in the stores 4 stories until you find it, but I have yet to stump an employee they Always know where to find my strange requests 🙃. Highly reccomended.
My ten-year-old daughter and I love to go here and just poke around. There are so many different things, styles and unique fun things. A little bit of everything!
As a local who visits your store frequently, I was disappointed to learn that five paper lanterns I bought at the sidewalk sale did not have the metal frame to keep them upright. I was told at the counter, when I brought them back today, that all sidewalk sales were final and you didnt accept returns. I understand that, but I wouldnt have bought eight items, five of which are unusable, had I known that sidewalk sale items can have parts/pieces missing. Thats why they are so cheap, I was told . I would respectfully request that you label items that are missing parts as such, or have signs available instructing patrons that the merchandise is much less than your normal quality.
They had maple srup :)
This is a fun store to go into and just wander around if you have the time. Prices are high on most items but if you look closely you can find some good deals. My only complaint is the employees are not the friendliest and on more than one occasion Ive felt extremely uncomfortable having an employee eye my every move and profile me as a shoplifter. Its insulting not to mention embarrassing.
I can never tell if this store is trying to gain hipster or baby boomer market share, but its got a lot of stuff. Prices on the high side, but its on Church Street so what do you expect. Literally every hot sauce they have is half the price on amazon, but I found some really cute mini appetizer forks - look long enough and youll find something to pull the impulse-purchase strings.
The people here are always very helpful and pleasant, and the verity of items you can find here is great. Bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, all good and great quality, from inexpensive to top dollar name brands. If you need anything from your home, this is the perfect first place to check.
Very helpful staff.
Home Port is my go-to place for the perfect card and occasionally for kitchen tools. They carry, in addition, a wide variety of decor for home and office, toys, bathroom accoutrements, and seasonal items like Christmas and Halloween decorations.Whatever the event or season, they have an exceptional collection of unique greeting cards. I also most often shop their fun postcards and variety of Korean and Japanese stickers. They also have just about every kitchen tool, gadget and appliance you could imagine. They cant compete with online retailers for cheap items, so they dont: instead, they carry moderate to high-end kitchen items. Come here for things that may be spendier at onset, but will last a long time and do precisely what you need them to.
You can get lost in this store easily for hours. It has literally everything you need.
Really unique store, has a ton of items for every part of the home. Great for finding unique gadgets, cookware, furnishings and more
I am ridiculously addicted to this store.
When I walked in I was excited to see how amazing this store was. I enjoyed looking at every inch of this store. Walked out with way more than I wanted.
Good for what you need. But better buys on the Church Street yearly sale.
We love getting our incense there and when you enter they have a ton of little nic-nacs.
Locally owned store that has three floors of items from around the world ranging from kitchen tools, furniture, dorm room essentials, to toys. If you can not find it at Homeport, you may still need it but then you may at least found something else that you decide you also need.
Prices are steep, but selection is great!
Easily my favorite home goods store
Mega overpriced everything, but if you know where to look you can get some okay deals on a few things. The staff are generally friendly, but often distracted chatting amongst themselves.
Great store to wonder during a rainy day.
Could spend hours and hours and hundreds and hundreds of dollars on neat household goods, knick knacks, toys, spiritual stuff, etc etc
Ronaldo is the best waiter, sums up the Church street eating experience perfectly
The only place in Vermont that has a large and fun selection of goods for the home!
Very cool store with a wide variety of items. A bit pricey though.
This store has everything and the staff is extra helpful!
Great lighting, great drinks! Service was 10/10
Great store
Never tire of looking around here. Brought Grandma today. Shes here for Champlain College graduation.
I was in a hurry, knew what I wanted, and had the best help guiding me with no fuss no muss. I was in a
Cool selection of cookware!
