Went in looking for coffee tables, they didnt have much inventory to look at and no one on the floor to help with anything if you have questions like most furniture stores. There was a couple sitting at checkout telling stories the whole time we were in there.

We bought a house three years ago and had a hard time finding the right furniture until we stepped in Metropolitan Furniture. Terri, the interior designer, listened and understood our needs and concerns. She came to our house and gave us recommendations based on the inspection and measurement. My husband and I have different tastes and preferences about the styles and colors of the furniture but Terry kept working with us patiently and professionally. John, the owner, also gave his expert opinions for references. It took us about two months making the mind with many back and forth and placing the orders. Every time we visited the store they always smiled and nicely answered our questions.After we ordered the furniture Terri kept us posted about the status of the shipping and delivery. They handed the furniture very carefully, helped assemble them correctly, and took the packing wraps away.Both my husband and I are very happy with the price and service offered by Metropolitan Furniture. We love the new looking of our living room and family room and get many compliments about the good quality and modern design of the furniture from our friends. Thank you, John and Terri, so much for your help! We definitely come back for our future furniture needs and highly recommend the store to anyone.

This place is awesome! John and Alex are truly top-notch people and there is a really family owned feel to this place. I needed a couch pretty quick and none of the furniture places in the entire area could get me one when I needed it. These guys got me the one I wanted in two days and it looked amazing with delivery and everything. Had problems with Bobs Furniture (delivery people damaging apartment walls; not being able to fit a couch inside my unit..), so I decided to check Metropolitan out. Im so glad I did -- the service and products are great. Fast delivery too.

Been there a couple of times and always enjoy a very good time there. All the people are nice and willing to help. We can’t find a vanity that fits our room and they even teach us how to search for it on Google! The furniture we bought there look perfect in my new house and the price is unbeatable. I have been searching for a living room leather sofa set for the past few months but was not successful in doing so. The big box stores had many choices, but none that peaked my interest and those that did were quite expensive and way above my budget.One day I was driving by Metropolitan Furniture like I did basically every day. So, I decided to go into the store to see what type of furniture they sold. When I entered the store, I was floored!! Not by the lighting and the showroom which I encountered in the big stores, but by the merchandise that I saw that reigned supreme here.After speaking with Teri, who gave me a synopsis from the time the hide was taken from the cow to final process: leather on the showroom floor. This lady was very knowledgeable about the products she sold. I also spoke to the owner John who after hearing my plight decided to sell me a leather living room display, because I could not wait three months for delivery. I must also mention at a great price which I believed would have cost me twice the price if I had bought it somewhere else and probably of less quality.If you are in the market for furniture. Metropolitan Furniture should be at the top of your list. Do not make your final decision until you visit Metropolitan. I was greeted by a women named Terri. She was absolutely amazing!! I explained to her that i just purchased a new home. She began talking design with me, she is full of knowledge!!! I learned about each piece of furniture (the brand, the type of fabric and leather) and which would work better for my family. She drew me a layout of my living room and opened my eyes to ideas I would have never thought of on my own!! I cannot say enough about the customer service and quality products here. Dropped in to look for a recliner for an ailing family member! Staff was so caring, and accommodating.. they sold me a brand new floor model that would normally take three months to get! So impressed with the owner and Kerri!! Going back for sure!!

I recently stopped at this store, it had been some since I shopped here, what a difference!! It looked so updated and really nicely designed. I enjoyed browsing around. The salesperson was so informative and she really knew her stuff. I went home to measure out, Yes I will be returning to purchase several pieces!

The salesperson - Terri - was amazing! She knows her product in side and out. She was NOT pushy, gave us room to wonder and to think! She also suggested design ideas. She is why we purchased the Natuzzi couch and chair. We love the product! But love Terri more. We plan on returning for a Bamboo prouct line they carry once we are moved in.

So, I went there looking for a new bedroom set. Upon entering, there was a man sitting at the desk. He looked at me as though he saw an alien, and I had disturbed him. Anyway, to make long story short, I bought the set ONLY because of Terri. Terri is the reason I even stepped foot in that store a second time. The owner, is NOT a very nice man at all. I am sorry that I could not give this 5 stars because Terri deserves it. I will NEVER return or refer anyone there. Nice furniture, not so nice people.

The furnitures in the shop are of high quality definitely and shop owners are helpful as well. I shopped around and dont tell me you find a lower price in BOBS or othet place, since the quality are not comparable. We love the sofa bought here with a good price and will come back to check out again if we need anything else. Thanks!

We were looking for a mattress set. I have been having back problems lately so weve tried all the big mattress experts. Came into Metropolitan Furniture on a whim and found just what we wanted. And it was on sale...about 2/3 of the price of the big furniture stores! Delivery arrived in a few weeks, just in time for the holidays. Its been 2 months now and we are very happy with our mattress purchase. We found Terry to be super helpful. We plan to stop by here again next time we are in the market for a mattress or furniture.

Walked in to browse sofa for my new apartment. The store is beautiful with lots of nice furnitures,nice selection of Italian leather sofas. Terry, at the store was very nice to give uselaborate details about the products we liked.It was the good customer sevice and good deal they gave us we ended up purchasing the product. So far terrible experience: the delivery is already late by over 6 weeks more than promised at the time of the order. Staff is not updating us.When we call, they tell us they will call back when they get updates and they just dont! Stay away, if you care about the dates when your furniture comes.
