Great selection of furniture. A lot of discounted market samples. I dont know everything about furniture but most items seemed like good quality. The size of this place is deceiving from the road. Its huge and stocked wall to wall. I found a computer desk with hutch like Ive been search everywhere for. Nice and low pressure staff.

As I was looking at the table and chairs I was talking to them and I asked him I said if I dont like it if it doesnt go with what I have can I return it and he said oh youll love it youll like it he never said that this is a no return policy if he had said that I would not have got that table and chairs now Im stuck with a $1,400 almost $1,500 table and chair set that does not go with what I have Ive only had it for 5 days bought it on the 10th delivered on the 13th and they will not even consider swapping it or even me purchasing something more expensive and they hand you the receipt folded so that you do not see that there is no return policy its never mentioned to you when you purchase something will never shop there again I 11,000 more dollars I was going to spend on furniture but I promise you it wont be from there and I promise you all my friends know about it all it would have taken was saying hey okay we can swap it out or whatever doesnt even have to be a return just a swap and it probably could have even made them more money I probably would have bought a more expensive set oh well their loss

Johnny helped us and was super friendly. They had a great selection. Even though I made up my mind fairly early, he gave us space to shop and make sure we were making the right decision for our home. I will definitely check them out for any future needs. There are definitely some pieces of furniture I didnt realize I needed until I saw them here! Ill be back!

I would like to put down on paper my personal recommendations for Discount Furniture World and most especially Steve.My experience has concluded much better than expected, I purchased a recliner that did not live up to the manufacturers warranty. I can say nothing against that manufacturer, they did send someone to make repairs per the warranty, however, I doubt that would’ve even happened without Steve’s insistence.Throughout the 60 plus days of my dealing with this recliner and it’s problems, I called or messaged Steve nearly every other day, (he has the patience of a saint).Finally through Steve’s efforts we managed to come up with a solution, the manufacturer donated the chair and Steve provided a different chair much to my satisfaction. I strongly recommend that anyone requiring furniture in the Alamance county area would be well advised to you first stop Discount Furniture World.

Worst customer service Ive ever experienced. They tore my couch bringing it in. Said they would replace it but instead they tried to sew it up and it came apart exposing the hole. They did replace it. But the fact they thought they could GET one over on someone shows how shady they are. Our recliner was falling apart after 2 weeks and they said it could be fixed. After returning it to me its STILL falling apart. I asked for my money back and they refused. They told me I was out of line and that all recliners lean to one side when you set in it. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and wish there was a 0 rating. After coming from Wilmington and everything I owned was damaged... The little I had left in my savings went to these shady folks. They play Christian music in the background but definitely dont have a Christian approach to business.

We have been very satisfied with the customer service and products purchased. We have not felt pressured when we just stop by to look at options, and that keeps us coming back!

The value want great, they have a limited selection. Most items cost as much or more then you would pay at a high end store but for a lower quality product. The only discount here is the the reduced quality of the furniture.

This business has a deceptive policy. They would not offer me a written warranty for the mattress Iwhen I purchased it from them last year. The mattress has 8 year warrenty, though only verbally. They also sold me a protective cover for $48, claiming it would help with warrenty claim. They are refusing to even considering the warrenty claim. The mattress is falling apart.I will have to take them to small claims court for any remedy.The mangeris happily boasting about a stack of complaints in the smal claims court.I gave them one star, because there isnt any lower rating available. I would never recommend this business to anyone. Dont waste your money in this store. Buy it from another store, evenif you have to pay a few dollars more.

I love this place! best prices in burlington for high quality furniture, i purchased a bed from these guys about a year ago. I didnt have the money in full. but the kind and friendly assistant told me that they have lay away, put down any kind of payment and make a payment at least once a month until it was paid off!! no strings attached!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sooooo awesome! took me about 3 months but i got the bed paid off and the delivered it the next day! i ALWAYS go to Discount Furniture World BEFORE ANY PLACE ELSE!

The worst customer service and their furniture is horrible. I purchased a sofa from them and it was delivered on September 23rd. Id swear this was the same sofa on the showroom floor. Its beautiful, but feels as if it has been used. The cushions dont stay fluffy. I just dont like sitting on it and will be looking for a new sofa come January.
