I saw two versions of the same toy, Lloyd Ninjago watch, which the one was priced $19.99. I chose the newer looking box version which did not display a price, and didnt realize I bought it for $24.99 until I got to my car. I immediately went to exchange it and had to provide my drivers license and a phone number in order to do the exchange. Im not a rewards member so I dont appreciate their having my name and address to do this transaction. I dont want fliers because I dont shop this overpriced toy store regularly. The employees were very courteous so thus the four stars.

Called 3 stores about transferring a product down to a store closer to me, they all said they could do it. I get to the Burlington location and basically they’re saying that they don’t do that and whoever said I could was lying. Despite their rudeness, I order for delivery to my house. I just received the package. The entire package was open, with the product stuffed and bent inside. It wasn’t even the right product. I don’t mind the different print I got, it matches better anyway. It’s the fact that everything was opened and not cared about, and how they couldn’t get one order right. I’m extremely disappointed and I will not be doing delivery with you guys ever again nor will I be recommending the shipping services.

I chose to utilize the in-store pick up option, and what a mistake that was! Instead of SAVING time, I had my time wasted by a rude representative after not receiving my prompt to pick up. I ordered my items at 10:00AM, called at about 2pm after no email prompt that my order was ready. Not only was the representative rude, she also told me that my order would be ready for pick up, only to my surprise, I receive an email saying it had been CANCELLED BECAUSE THEY DIDNT HAVE THE ITEMS ID ALREADY PURCHASED. Absolutely INFURIATING.

Felt a little cheated of the birthday club. My sons 2nd birthday had just passed, I took him to toys r us to pick out some toys and i had been told with the birthday club, the kid will get a balloon, crown, and an announcement over the loud speaker wishing them a happy birthday. So we went in, the lady was not friendly at all, she didnt even wish my son happy birthday, she handed me the balloon and the crown and that was it, no announcement didnt even acknowledge him. Normally though, the employees are very friendly .

Got my Son alot of good stuff here for an awesome price because of their closing.

Me and my fiancé and our new born baby took a trip to this store regarding a gift we had gotten at our baby shower. Called ahead of time to check of they would be able to help ya and take it back due to it not fitting told them the box was thrown out to which she said thats no problem and come in . The night time Manger who was working on 4/22/2017 was named Ann. She was the rudest and nasty person I had ever delt with she not only said she wouldnt do the return but also said we are returning stuff they dont sell there . Now since I was waiting for some time i had walked around and saw they had 4 to 5 of the items we are trying to return it nicely tell her oh we there are some back on the selves she then laughs at me and says we dont sell them and she isnt doing the return I was more then happy to show her the items she wouldnt go find it and made me go and grab it for my self. She said unless I grab it for her she isnt doing . I went to grab item to which she then replies oh great now we have these people returning stuff that we cant even sell her. She was rude unhelpful and racist to top of it with her jabs saying you people and saying youre kind . Im not sure who hired Ann at the store but Id suggest you fire her . Never in my life have I been talked to this way and I think thay management needs to take a good look at there staff. I will be calling corporate also to file a report

Always tended to have what I was looking for in stock, and being slightly off the beaten path also meant lines were infrequent. Easily obtained amiibos and NES Classic during their peak periods.

There doesnt seem to be enough available associates throughout the store! We were looking for something in particular, but werent able to find an associate to help us! We spent an enormous amount of wasted time searching for an item we werent even sure was available! The associate we DID see and speak to, was while we were checking out, but she was very hurried, short and unhelpful in helping me to use my Rewards Card. She didnt seem to know much about toys r us policies, their merchandise, reward programs, the register functions or how to manual imput my rewards cards barcode. I ended up paying and leaving without applying my purchase to my account. She immediately referred me to a phone number for customer service. After a 20 minute phone call, and with the help of customer service, i WAS able to apply my purchase to my rewards account, but the associates in the store are untrained and do not possess customer service skills. The associates at the Burlington Toys R Us would benefit greatly from a training seminar.
