Edit: Quick response from owner deserves a better rating.I entered the store and waited at the front desk for 15 minutes to make a purchase but nobody would come to the front. There was even people sitting at the back that clearly saw me.

Husband and I came here to browse board games. They have a HUGE selection. The biggest one weve seen. They even had several games/expansions we had wanted but had been out of stock on Amazon and other stores.

Awesome store. I took my son since he is getting into playing card games and they had a open house where a expert mtg player took time and play a game with him to show him how to play the game. My son loved the experience. Im sold.

Great place to play games and make some friends

Best store I could find that had items for D&D. Had a great selection of dice. I found a DM screen!! They had different books available, not just the bigger modules, either. Definitely worth the trip.

Best game store for your trading card and table top game needs.

This is one of my favorite places in town. Its the only hobby shop in the area, and I always go here over other stores for anything like table top games and books. On top of offering a great selection of board games, they also have TTRPGs, Magic The Gathering cards, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and Pokemon cards. They have packs for all of these, and you can also purchase individual cards for MTG and Yu-Gi-Oh. They also have an open space for people to play and socialize.

This place is a paradise. Largest selection of games available in Burlington, Greensboro, Asheboro and High point. Denise was overwhelmingly polite and generous with her time and patience in dealing with me with my wife and 3 year old in tow. Had a place for him to sit down and play while my wife and I browsed the store, answered all our questions quickly and even made a generous contribution to our fledgling game night group as we started into heroclix. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the triad area as a first stop for game night.

Do you enjoy Magic: The Gathering? Table top games like Star Wars Destiny? Board games like Dominion or Pandemic? Come here. Denise has a great selection of new TCG items including the highly sought-after Eclipse Sleeves from Ultra Pro. Worth a visit, stay for Friday Night Magic. The competitive scene isnt fiercely territorial, instead welcoming others to try out new and interesting decks.

Very thankful hypermind is still here .. we don’t have a lot of gaming stores in alamance but family run buisness and very good people over there ... board games, rpg, and of course mtg ... with some cool little nick naks as well ...

I learnt DnD there and developed my style of play because of them.

Ive had nothing but trouble from this store.Placed an order in April and in over two months it still hadnt come in. During this time I left two business cards, submitted an inquiry on their website, and visited the store four times in person.Each time I go the middle-aged balding man is there and he talks down to the younger boy helping at the store. I hope that this isnt his son, but either way that balding man is an absolute ahole to the kid and I feel terrible for him.After two months of trying to give this store my business, I ended up using the gift certificate on something that they had in the store. I will never return to Hypermind, and its their lost business as far as Im concerned.

Great selection, good location, and the crowd us usually very friendly. The one qualm I have is that the male manager/owner has always been extremely unfriendly in my experience. My first time participating in FNM was here and this man treated me as if I were a huge inconvenience. He audibly groaned when I didnt have a pen to write my name on the signup sheet, he further groaned and said I guess in the most exasperated manner possible when I asked if I could pay him (in cash) for FNM. I mean come on, Im literally trying to give this guy money. The lady who also runs the store is VERY friendly though, I think shes great.At this point, I only go to this store if its super convenient. And even then, I ponder driving to the triangle instead.

Prices are very fair and the player are friendly. We play DND on Saturdays and I always leave with a smile.

Poor service. Lack of knowledge on products.Only go there if you cant find specific things you cant find anywhere else.The owners only have knowledge of Magic the gathering and nearly everyone there are magic players. The male manager is anti-social and very rude.

Messed up and bought the wrong thing, they were very understanding and helped me out.
