Anyone who works in customer service knows every customer is important regardless of how busy you are. Seeing that there were four people grabbing trash cans and ignoring the fact that I had been standing idle at self self-checkout for the last 5 minutes just to wait on an age restriction approval is unacceptable.I understand youre never going to find the same group of people working in a store, nor will you always have the same experience but the crew that once worked this store were a whole lot better at not just greeting the customer but making sure no one was standing around waiting for help. Dont worry, when Publix is built Ill be taking my business down there or to another food Lion.

I had a great time in this particular food lion but the best thing was the cake i got. It is a strawberry cake with lemon buttercream frosting and its one of the best cakes iv ever put in my mouth. Iv been to many weddings and events where they had nice expensive cakes but this cake right here beats them all. I dont know how or who made this food lion cake but its a dream and i live for it.

Big parking lot. Depends if you walk far to get in or walk far to get out. You can only enter one side and exit another. But you can walk by everyone with in inches of each other. I could care less how close I get to one another. Most people are wrapped up like Muslim house wives so I feel more comfortable than most people in there. Haha. Anyways prices are going up constantly. Bought the exact same thing 3 weeks ago and 11 dollars more....and used MVP CARD both times. But gotta get food i reckon.

What, can i say about the Alamance rd/ Ramada rd food lion; which is the best in a 50 mile area; 1st and best of all the staff; give the most customer service and respect to all that comes in the lion den.2nd: It does not matter if it is, 6:00 a.m. in the morning or 11:00 p.m. at night( that is there store hours 6am to 11pm).These Ladies and gentlemen that work here still treat you with the good nature, support, and most of all patience, patience,patience.3rd: management be proud of being the best at all you do also. Would have been a lot better of an experience if most of the staff actually wore their masks properly over their nose. I can see from this that our safety is not important to the management of this store. We wont be back.A few staff members wore theirs correctly, including our cashier, and for that we are grateful.

Its ok store. The prices are high and they do not carry like for example 4% fat hamburger meat and a lot of sugar free products.

Overall I give them an ok rating. Several employees were wearing their masks below their nose. There was one older gentleman employee restocking shelves who had no mask on. I saw two shoppers with their mask below their nosr or below their mouth, neither were asked to pull them up. Carts were being sanitized and sanitizing wipes were also available.

Ordered groceries to pick up. Showed up ad checked in through the app as always. After 10 minutes or so get text that says no one is available, come inside and get them. Walk inside and they are standing around talking. Ask about groceries and they tell me I am supposed to call. Never had to call before. Purpose of grocery pickup is to not have to go in and be exposed to everyone. Guess that is not the case here.

So Food Lion has advertised One day hot sale $1.49 St. LOUIS style ribs. The store opened at 6am I arrived about 7 am. They did not have this item out! The cashiers response was well thats the meat dept. And they havent got here! ##@! HARRIS TEETER WOULD HAVE HONORED THAT SALE WITH one if the ribs I bought to the register for the inconvenience.

Never met an employee I didnt like and wasnt friendly. I use food lion to go once a week at least and I love it. Amazing crew, fast, friendly, and make great replacements when needed. Favorite grocery store.

Super clean store with ample stock except the usual items (toilet paper, paper towels, alcohol and lysol products) but other items well stocked and very clean restrooms in store.

Im still sitting in their parking lot right now totally astonished. My client needed some things from the store. She had $9.67 left on her EBT. I told checker I would cover any amount over. Well, it was $0.98 over. I wasnt going to use my bank card for that amount so I dug and dug and found $0.95. She would not allow me to purchase till I got the remainder! I shop this location numerous times a month not only for my client but for my family. I was just shopping here yesterday for my family. Seriously!!! $.003! Wow!

Manager Karin Jones is very rude and disrespectful to her employees. She fires people for her own pleasure and when you do work for her, she talks to you as if you are a child. She never helps when the store gets busy.

The food is very costly here. The staff with a few exceptions are not very friendly they barely speak to you. Customer service skills need some work.

My favorite store to shop

This is my favorite Food Lion in the area. The shelves are always well stocked, the aisles are wide, and the employees are always super friendly and helpful! I recommend going when its not peak hours so they can help you unload your cart, bag it, load it back up, and even help you with it to your car! This comes in handy when you have kids :)

Employees do their jobs and nothing more that Ive ever witnessed. Sometimes its easy to feel unwelcomed. 21st century mentality at its finest when it comes to customer appreciation. Their service is giving you a place to shop. So this location can be lacking. Positives, recent remodel with more checkouts and produce is always fresh at competitive pricing.
