They installed my trailer hitch fine but the electronics install was sloppy. 4 years later I am finding that they ran a wire by drilling a hole through the body of my car did not install a rubber grommet or any protective covering for the wire and it has been rubbing raw giving me electrical issues that nobody could find until I did some just looking myself.

The pickup experience was great. Everything was self-driven via mobile phone/website, and the van was ready to go. The billing experience was a bit confusing. I would recommend documenting the final gas gauge better than I did. On the same receipt showing I drove 6mi total they also charged for 2g of gas, so either the van gets 3mi/g or someone made a few bucks off me

Made a reservation 10 days ago for a trailer. Tomorrow is my planned move date, and this morning I received a call saying that this RESERVATION is not going to be available, and nothing will be available within 100 miles.Do not trust them to have your items reserved.They FORCE you to tick this option before you can make a reservation with them. So that they can tell you that they will have something available and then simply leave you without your reserved items.Important!I understand that the equipment I am selecting on this date, at this location, is not available to schedule and agree to be called by a regional U-Haul representative.
Was on hold for over 20 minutes. Hung up since I have better things to do than wait for someone to pick up their phone. Apparently u-haul doesnt want any new customers.

We reserved a motorcycle trailer. It was there and waiting for us it was easy to check in. The attendant notice that our ball was not tight even though we thought it was and he tightened it for us. He knew all the rules and how it works. Return was easy and painless and took no time at all. Possibly one of the best and easiest business transactions Ive ever had.
Sold me USED boxes for the same price as new. How do i know they were used? They had tape on them, in multiple places. I needed them, else i would have left and purchased them elsewhere. I even asked for a discount, but was told they were returned from a customer, and the manager said to sell them as new. Guess the customer used them; great deal for them, not so good for the rest of us.

I like the place and they usually have a truck I need, but they are always filthy. If they would at least rinse them at time of rental would be nice. Something about seeing out the windows is helpful.

Would not let my 9 months pregnant wife use their bathroom. REALLY? Cited a liability issue.They quoted us 60-90 minutes for a trailer hitch installation. We came back after 90, and when we inquired more than half an hour later (2+ hours into the job) they told us that it was actually a 2-3 hour job, but that they CHARGE for 90 minutes. It was at this point that they told my could-give-birth-at-any-minute wife that shed have to walk 2 blocks to the Jack in the Box. Classy move U-Haul of Campbell.
Gross incompetence. Do not rent from here, go to another location. Any other location.I am standing in the parking lot of this location right now, waiting on a Lyft to go to another Uhaul. Perhaps Ill have better luck there.The customer representative here was inept. While attempting to take my information, he somehow accessed / loaded another customers account. The screen was showing someone else. I could not tell if he was overwriting that account, or somehow corrupting mine - but the info was a mix of two people.After battling through this, he then bizarrely told me that I could only have the van for six hours. He offered no explanation. At the same time, the customer next to me, also a walk-in and renting a van, was politely asked how long he needed the van, and was told he could have it all day.The guy was so incompetent I just walked out at this point. While waiting for my Lyft, I have now heard another customer be informed that their reserved truck will be delayed several hours. Stay away from this place.
Good place to refill propane tank. Parking is tight, but I think you could just pull up your car to the propane station and they wouldnt mind.
Ive used several U-Haul and other rental places in the south bay area and this is my favorite one. The vehicles are clean and, in my experience, well taken care of. The staff is reasonably friendly and has always done a good job for me. Ive had no complaints about the charges.I had to comment after seeing the bad review from Nickname unavailable -- notice thats their only review and I think it must be a bogus comment from a competitor. These guys have never given me any trouble at all.
OK, this probably isnt fair for the local store, but more for the National Offices of U-Haul. I reserved a truck and a car tow dolly online, to be picked up at this location. When I got my check-in email a couple of days before, the national trafficing department screwed it up. Not only did they NOT have my tow dolly in the reservation, but they had me picking up the truck at a different location (10 miles away) from where I made the reservation. In know they cant control where tucks get returned, but thats not my problem. If you offer a specific item from a specific store, it is youre responsibility to either have it there, or get it there. Not have the customer go to 2 different locations, 20 miles apart, to get the 2 items I reserved from the store 5 miles from my home. Poor, poor planning.But, the guys at the local store were great. Hats off to you. You have a very difficult job when customers are coming in your door already angry due to the ineptitude of your national/corporate offices.
A great place to refill your propane tanks. Ive received nothing but friendly good service. You can get your propane tank fully refilled, unlike a exchange service
New policy: they request and require to take a picture of your drivers license (front &back) and then they upload the photos to their database, so that one of their skumbag employees can steal your identity, because well hey, they also require a major credit card to rent anything. I dont mind providing my license and go ahead document the info, but a friggen (I prefer the other F word) picture uploaded?Im a lonnnnng-time customer, but NEVER will I walk through their doors again. The (supposed) manager, Henry, rude condescending and refused to give his managers contract info (with a grinch) smile on his face.Why do people treat customers so rudely and in their place of employment? No common sense, no customer service, just horrible.
Simple, straightforward transaction here. No hidden fees. Rates are a little higher here though.
I wouldnt even give them 1 star. Dishonest, no attempt at customer service/satisfaction and a too bad attitude. Keep away from this location as it appears they are out to take as much of your hard earned cash as they can con out of you.Bought several wardrobes at the store. Went on line several days later to check on other boxes. Found out they had over charged me for both types of wardrobes ($10.95 sb $8.95 as stated on line, $13.95 sb $12.95 as stated on line). When I went back in they said - Oh you bought the banded ones, meaning they had bands around the boxes. If you bought the un-banded ones you would have gotten the lower price. Now why was I not told this when I purchased the boxes. And why is there no price sign showing the difference. They refused to lower the price or refund the difference with a too bad remark. Now $11 difference is a lot for 6 boxes but to tell me that the bands that hold the box flaps against the box body for carrying ease is worth that amount of money is absurd. The bands have no other use and you have to cut them off to set up the boxes. I guess the cheappies in this location consider this a great way to make extra cash. How many other people did they con!!There are other locations that might be a better place to take your business. For our move we will not be using this location to rent a truck.

Rented a 15ft truck and car tow dolly to move cross country. They told us we didnt need extra tow lights, turns out they just didnt stock them. When we asked about a steering wheel lock they said it would be fine without one, even tho the trailers instructions clearly state to lock the steering wheel... They try and sell you all the junk you dont need but dont carry the things that are a must! We lost a day of travel time just trying to find everything we needed. And if we would have listened to them? We probably would have lost control of the car/dolly. I will NEVER rent a uhaul again.

The worst you haul experience.I reserved a 10 foot truck a week in advance.When I showed up, they are telling me that they can not provide the truck for more than 4 hours even though I reserved it for 8 hours.I wwill never go to this place. If I could I would have provided a negative review.

I had the worst experience with uhual. I planned a month in advance and got helper to help with my Ubox. I stayed on top of my move so no errors would occur because I was moving to another state and booked airline tickets and movers on the other end. Well not only did UHUAL mess up the whole move I spent over $2000 extra on top of the over $2000 with them. The General Manager Henry was such a bad business person he kept trying to blame me for his companies numerous mistakes. Well my boxes came after I had to fly back to CA for biz. I feel he made the situation worst by treating me so poorly. In the end he thought he was so generous with $150 credit for a delay after I spent over $2000 fixing the problem. I am going to small claims court. Please all of little people we must hang in there and not let companies like this treat us so poorly.
Doesnt follow the same polices as other uhauls. They make their own rules here. I would drive an extra 5 miles to another uhaul and avoid this place at all cost. Horrid general manager with no appreciation for repeat customers.

It’s very difficult to get to with the nearby highway exit/entrance, and the U-Haul parking lot is nonexistent. These are out of the hands of the U-Haul location, but these are literally my only complaints about the experience.
Longish line but professional experience. They did try and short change me on the amount of gas in the truck, which always feels like a slimey attempt to get more money.
