We stopped for a pastry and a coffee. Perfect location to relax and sit by the water.

We stayed in Cape Coral for a week, and ate at the French press four of the mornings we were there.Quite honestly if we would’ve found it sooner we probably would’ve eaten there seven out of the seven days we were at Cape Coral.The coffee was excellent the breakfast sandwiches were excellent, the salmon bagel was excellent, the crapes were excellent, and the employees we’re great as well. Can’t say enough good things about The French Press

Welcoming decor, great location. Informal breakfast/lunch with good coffee. Occasionally live music too. No masking in this place (a little weird given the Delta-plus variant has made it to our local ERs), but they do have outdoor seating with a nice view of the marina. Weirdly, although it was Saturday morning and there were customers, they had just gotten a food delivery so they had no salmon (it was being thawed) and at first no people to take your order (they were both in the back dealing with the food delivery). Once they became available they were perfectly friendly, though! Food was good, although Im still pining for my lost salmon :-)

The place is really cute, and has lovely place to read or just relax be it inside or outside. And the gelato here is absolutely amazing! Palm Tree is an absolute recommended as a cup or at least a sample

The greatest place. A beautiful location in the SW Cape, with tables outside overlooking the marina. And so cozy inside, in case you would prefer to sit in the air conditioning. Or you could grab a home made Gelato and a table out front and have a perfect view of the live music. And bring your dog! They get spoiled here! A pup cup, bacon, or just some dog cookies at the end of the counter for them. They are all welcome here.Pastries, bagels, hot food, sandwiches, soups, Norman Love chocolate, THE CINNAMON ROLLS tdf, home made gelato...and so much more. And its all delicious.But, by far, the standout here are the employees. Excellent customer service and hard working, kind, friendly and welcoming.Stop in and visit them and youll feel like youre with family and friends.

I visited from NC, and I had a great experience! I ordered an iced latte--the espresso had great flavor. I also had one of the cream cheese danishes (blueberry) and it was tasty as well. The barista was kind and gave me her recommendations since it was my first time at this location. I will be back whenever I am in the area again!

Great coffee but bring your own towels every morning to wipe off tables and chairs. We are staying 2 months here and loved the idea of sitting for coffee over looking marina every morning. Well for the last week every single morning we have to wipe and dry each chair and table to be able to sit. Employees do not appear to care as they watch us each morning do it on our own. We now enjoy coffee at home on our balcony.

Last time we went there their ice cream was too soft, needed to be a bit more firm. Taseted good

This place is excellent and the manager is excellent. Good is delicious. Customer service exceptional. We were going to Cape Harbor for several weekends this summer and we never missed it.

I really wanted to like this place. I’m not sure if we came on an off day or what. The salmon bagel was good and the first latte I ordered was good. Before leaving I went to order a second latte to take home and it tasted horrible.When I went back in and asked if they could remake the latte there was a person changing the garbages. After changing the garbages they came up and started touching the new tickets and they went to restart making my latte. I had to ask them to wash their hands. I could tell they were upset by me asking them to wash their hands.I worked in a restaurant for six years, I understand mix ups happen with orders and what not. But the one thing I don’t have patience for is lack of uncleanliness. This is how people get sick.I won’t be going back.

Quaint little shop @ the Harbor/Marina. Has a limited selection of French Pastries. They also have Gelato, chocolates 🍫 and Coffee ☕ Had excellent (huge)cinnamon roll.

The food is always delicious and always taste fresh. The quality if coffee beans is top notch. HOWEVER it gets one star because this experience does not warrant the way this coffee shop is run. Whoever manages this place needs to seriously review how they do things. The workers making the coffee have no idea what they are doing. The workers are rude, the wait times are sometimes up to 45 mins for a light breakfast sandwich and a coffee. And this is not just a one time experience. It is every single time my wife and I come here. This place has much potential but simply needs new management that knows how to run a fast pace busy coffee, train employees and be kind to costumers when all we want is our coffee and food that should never take over 30 mins to make. We will not be coming back until we see or hear there has been a change with how this place is run.

Waited over 20 minutes for a coffee on a Monday. It was never rang up. Staff seemed completely unprepared for any type of people to be served and was constantly increasing the food wait times. We ordered food, but ended up getting refund after 25 minutes with an additional 30 minute wait. When we returned to get the refund, the server was taking a mobile order and then got the undropped ticket from the grill. Several people walked in to order, but instead of putting them on a wait to order, they kept taking more orders, putting themselves more in the weeds. Also, its possible they were unaware of spring break, the managers need to recognize an influx of people are likely coming during these times.

Nice staff, good food, and a popular place. Ive been there four times now, and would give it 5 stars except for my last experience - they were very busy, but forgot my food order. My double espresso (very good!) was gone long before they looked at me and realized my food was missing. They were very apologetic and I received my order quickly. Also, inwas unable to connect to their WiFi - it would not give me an IP address, either because it hung or because there were too many people attached. I do plan to return!

This place has great coffee but the gelato was garbage. It’s overpriced and they literally just gave me a cup of vanilla ice cream. Really normal.

Was looking forward to this place but was disappointed. Went there because it had a good review rating. However, there was horrible service (workers seemed disorganized and confused), unsanitary practices (workers handling cash or taking out trash, then serving food), mediocre food (I had the veggie crepe. Maybe there’s better things on the menu?), and an extremely long wait. View is great and coffee are good, but that’s about it.

Amazing breakfast options, and incredible espresso. Had a single shot and it was the perfect amount of chocolatey and not over whelming with bitterness, but just enough of that espresso flavor.My wife had a breakfast crepe and it was amazing. I had the breakfast wrap and it was perfect!!! Incredible lattes as well.On top of the incredible food and drinks, the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Dope bro complimenting my socks and my name.. Would definitely come back!

My family and I have been boating here for breakfast for years. Love the atmosphere and the food! We always go for coffee and their bakery. However, recent changes have gone from public docking to private. Pretty disappointed.

Absolutely love this little gem! I’m pregnant and was craving macarons so we found this sweet little cafe doing a google search. Upon entering Jasmine was very engaging and helpful. The indoor cafe is very clean and chic. The outdoor area is clean and well maintained. Will defiantly return! Coffee is also 5 stars! Anyone rating this place any less is pretentious. Great place.

Pretty much the best breakfast food I could ask for! Had the Club crepes and the Dirty Banana coffee mixer. Just a heads up: they dont enforce Covid precautions or mask wearing here, so if youre like me (aware that a pandemic is happening) that will dampen the experience.

Disappointed. Never got our food, waited like 30+ mins and still nothing. We were patient cause we knew they were busy, we were understanding and nice the whole time, after finally giving up, we told them we never got our food. They told me they didn’t know where we sat and wanted to give me the plate of food that got cold and was standing there for at least 20 mins. It seemed like the employees were annoyed cause they were busy.

Everything here is sooooo good! The chai latte and quiche are up there for the best I have ever had. This is the only place I found in town to make a great chai. The service is good and they are friendly. Love the seating by the water. The desserts and gelato are also awesome. My parents are big fans of the crepes. You cant go wrong with anything here!

My family and I are were in town for Easter and I wanted to go somewhere together for brunch. I chose this place because I loved the atmosphere, the coffee, and my kids love the gelato. We were disappointed with alot of he food on the buffet; scrambled eggs, prime rib, sausage, etc. The service was also terrible. We were seated without silverware at the table and when we came back with our food we still didnt have any after them assuring us we would. We then had to ask 3 more times for some before we just turned around and asked the girl standing at the bar. The girl goes, oh, there you guys are we were sitting at the table next to the bar, she could have reached her arm out and touched us we were that close. We also asked for water for everyone when we were seated and they didnt bring any for my daughter, I ended up sharing mine with her till someone finally came to the table and we could ask for another. Shortly after we received our silverware we were told that they were closing the buffet that if we wanted more to eat we should get it now. We had reservations at two because they said it was the only available time. We showed up a little early and they were able to seat us early. Why would they book a brunch reservation at two if the brunch was over at two?!? When we were given our bill my husband and I thought it was some kind of joke. We are not doing that again. The brunch is extremely over priced. I told the person in charge and she said there was nothing she could do about it cause that is the price that was advertised. I never saw an advertisement. If had I would have never gone there. I was on their website when I made the reservations and it didnt list the price. Its my fault I guess for not finding out first but I never would have imagined that kids brunch was $20 a piece and an adult was $40 each. My kids will be disappointed to not be able to have their gelato any more but that experience lost my business.Edited 4-24-19I have since decided to change my review because the owner has attempted to make things right and that quality I value. The atmosphere of this place, coffee and drinks cant be beat. Desserts are amazingly delicious.

Such a cute coffee shop! Its right on the marina with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is very friendly. I had the sugar free raspberry gelato and it was AMAZING! Grab a cup, light bite or treat and you wont be disappointed.

Intended to visit here for Sunday lunch but ended up not staying as there didnt seem to be a very large lunch selection. This seems like an excellent place to come to for bakery items or a dessert and coffee (I am sure that the coffee is great and would have liked to taste it, but timing was off).There was a brunch but it really didnt seem great value for the price of $25 per person. The brunch items seemed fine although relatively few in number for that charge. I was told that the price per person included unlimited Mimosas and Bloody Marys, however there was absolutely no other price consideration for the person not seeking alcoholic beverages (I know this because I asked). Too bad, as it might have been a nice find for brunch..

Great place! The Blends, Smoothies and Ice Ceeam are Amazing. The staff was attentive and informative. Reminds me of a place back home in Ohio. The place closed down and didnt think I would find anything like it. Well be coming here every time we come back to the Cape. Love love love it here!

Love the food here and love supporting this great local business but every time I’ve come the staff isn’t very friendly and ends up making me feel uncomfortable. The majority of the employees seem unhappy to be there and have an attitude. When I order anything that needs to be warmed up or requires a small amount of extra work, they seem really irritated. The two younger employees in the front seem miserable and seem annoyed at anything you order that requires them to make, even though I order exactly what’s on the menu. This place also needs music as it is uncomfortably silent. I love all the food I’ve had here, the breakfast sandwiches are amazing and everything is so fresh but the employees make me feel really uncomfortable. The French Press is my favorite place to grab a quick bite for breakfast or lunch but I feel hesitant to go back because of the attitude of the staff that I’ve experienced.

Ordered actual french press, was not hot enough, extremely weak coffee with coffee grinds all in it as it was poured, the preparation of the French press was not correct. And as it is in the name of the place I had great expectations.Breakfast items were not great at all. Sandwich cheese not melted, seemed thrown together in a hurry, sloppy.I would have rated higher stars if we were ever checked once or asked if everything was well or had any attention at all. We sat outside with no other customers but yet dirty tables everywhere. Inside was only one customer. Great potential and location but in need of improvement on service, quality, training and kitchen. Seemed well staffed but not paying attention to customers.

The outside seating area is filthy - not dirty but filthy. It totally takes away from the hoped for pleasant experience of sipping coffee overlooking a beautiful harbour. The deck is black with dirt, the French Press sign is green with mildew. Its hard to believe an upscale place like Cape Harbour would let their property decline in such a way. It was Very disappointing.

We stopped for coffee and breakfast! Super sweet people working! Muffins, turnovers were amazing. Cute and clean spot. Had the snickerdoodle blended coffee which was amazing!

Their coffee is organic! Mouthwatering cakes and truffles. There is also a selection of simpler cakes/cookies if you want more everyday items and ice cream. Inside is air conditioned, outside are a number of tables right by the harbor. Service is very friendly. Ive been here a lot of times.

This is my absolute favorite breakfast spot in all of Cape Coral. The prices are great, the breakfast is even better. The croissant sandwich is heaven. Plus they have gelato for an afternoon treat and sell Norman Love chocolate! You cant beat getting to eat on the back patio near the water. Just an absolutely perfect little spot.

Found of piece of silver rubber stripping in my drink.. **not sure how to respond to the owner, I got a water with ice along with my food item. I believe the rubber is from the inside of the ice case. The girl seemed like she was in a hurry so maybe hacked a chunk off with an ice scoop. Or inside of lining of the ice machine that fell out. I can ask the health dept tmmrw if they can identify where it came from.

This is a great addition to Cape Harbor. This place actually goes above and beyond their bakery is unbelievable. Every time in there I was going to big cookie or muffin is our satisfies me. Not to mention the scenery is unbelievable when you’re sitting in Marina drinking coffee in a wonder what your friends up north are doing.

Shop is lovely and so are most employees, except for Mia who is generally very rude and disrespectful, despite the hospitality of other employees. I’ve learned names being a regular and she is by far the only member of their staff who I quite frankly feel does not fit. Otherwise wonderful place to get drinks and brunch!

Great little place

The gelato was really good but the person serving them could not put it on the cone without breaking the cone up. The service was horrible. Plenty of Staff just nobody working. Somebody had their kid there on the food assembly line eating as they were making customers food. We waited forever to be checked out. I almost finished my cone in line standing and waiting to pay.
