Came in to complete an oil consumption test. When my car was cleared for repair, I asked if I should schedule a time to come back and they said no, the part was in stock, and it would only be a day and a half. The part wasn’t in stock, so I asked if I could pick up my vehicle for use and was told no. I am a single mom and did not have access to a loaner vehicle so I had to borrow a work van from my employer with no backseats to accommodate the extension. I lost 2 evenings with my children because of the oversight & delays. On the third evening I rented a car so that I could pick up my kids. When I came to the dealership to pick up my car seats, my vehicle was driven to me to get them out- despite being told it could not be driven. If this was an appropriate action to take, and your dealership represented itself properly, I was given no explanation as to why it could be driven when I was told ‘it was torn apart and couldn’t be driven.’ I had to initiate communication several times for updates, and even then was asked several times why my car was there in the first place. It was finally completed after a week, when it was only supposed to be a day and a half. The impact on me as a consumer was great last week, and it didn’t seem like anyone cared. Oh, and I was flippantly told that I should buy a brand new engine without any explanation, while in the same breath I was told I needed to pay $1100 for the repair covered under warranty- hence the test, and me having to explain several times why my car was there. I was also charged for an ‘engine inspection fee’ when I was there for warranty work, and I never authorized that charge. I had to fight it, and it was waived, but it never should have been applied in the first place. Still not sure why I need a whole new engine. I called GM and THEY are comp’ing my rental expenses given my experience. I may wind up buying something new, but it won’t be at Ed Martin if I can help it.

I originally scheduled an oil change and tire rotation. While there, I asked if they could check my brakes because of some noise they were making. I was there a little early but they still got me right in. They found that there was a bulletin on my brakes and they had the part in stock. I waited while they completed all the work. I was there longer than I had planned but the waiting area was very comfortable so I was able to work while I waited and the time passed very quickly. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Id especially like to complement Micah (sorry if I did not spell her name correctly), who took my original call. She was so funny and helpful . Thank you.

My car was broken into and you guys were able to get me in for the detail service the very next day! My husband was going out of town and you were able to get me in so I wouldn’t be stranded with an infant at home and no car. Customer service is top notch, each person we talked to was very kind and helpful. But most of all the car came back looking brand new! When we brought it in there was broken glass everywhere from the break in and dirt from daily use. We could not believe how clean and perfect they were able to get the car! Thank you!!!!!!

We called ahead to see if a used car that was advertised online was available for us to look at and test drive. We were told yes and encouraged to stop by so we made an appointment. So my husband, myself (9 months pregnant), and my two little toddlers drove 35 min across town to this dealership to look at this car. When we arrived the salesman met us and told us to wait so he could get the keys. After a 15 or 20 min wait he finally comes back to inform us that the person responsible for detailing the car had taken it home. He wanted us to come back the next day. Definitely not going to happen. Not sure I have ever experienced worse customer service. And we even called ahead. What’s worse is that my husband is fairly certain he actually saw the car we wanted to look at pull out of the lot while we were waiting for the keys in the lobby. Jokes on you because we were very interested in purchasing this vehicle. I can also reassure that I will never again set foot in this dealership. That is not how you treat people!!!

The dealership worked on my car for an extended period of time of about 3 weeks. My car was the subject of a recall. The dealership had to order the repair parts for the recall, which took about 3 days. My car was scheduled to be repaired on a Friday. It was not, but I was able to pick up my car the next day - Saturday. I was told that the alignment, which was included in the recall, for the front passenger wheel could not be completed to specification. I returned my car to the dealership along with paper work showing I had purchased an extended warranty for mechanical issues. The dealership kept my car in excess of 10 days before this warranty was honored and my car was fixed. I purchased my car, which was new at the time, from the dealership. I was never offered a loaner during this extended period, that I was without my car, and I consider the dealerships level of customer service to be extremely poor. On numerous occasions, I had to call the dealership for a status report on the repair of my car during this subject period. The dealership initiated a call to me only once during this period!

I showed up with a nail in my tire at 1:30 PM and they close at 2. The immediately assessed the problem and informed me I would need a whole new tire. They had the tire in stock and were able to get the new tire on and get me on my way before 2:30 PM. I was so impressed and grateful. They even expressed that they were glad that I had arrived safely and wasnt stranded on the side of the road somewhere. Great people! I always get my service there and this is why.

They are always helpful and explain everything before they work on your car. Since there is so much construction and detours here I had a nail that had punctured my tire but because I brought tires from the dealership and have a warranty they were able to fix my tire! I was ready to pay but because of my warranty there was no charge! I tell everybody about Ed Martin! They truly are good people and never try to take advantage of you! Thank you so much for getting me in and taking care of my car! Love you guys!!

Scheduled service for 7-Sep-2021 to fix the window regulator that Ed Martin had replaced in Feb-2020. When I dropped off the car they indicated they may not be able to get to it for a day or two. I could not leave my car, because I had not planned for that. I rescheduled for 17-Sep. I brought in the car in on 17-Sep. After calling, I was informed they couldnt get to it that day either, so I had to leave the car over the weekend. They finally completed the car on 20-Sep and I had to pay over 200 dollars for the labor to replace the regulator put in Feb-2020. For both visits, I paid close to 700 dollars for the right front window regulator. Im not sure why anyone would make an appointment with Ed Martin for a particular day when you do not honor the scheduled appointment. The Feb-2020 appointment went fine and the car was completed that day, even though, the part was faulty. I was definitely not happy as you can tell.

Frank was fantastic to work with and made the experience easy. However, the dealership still operates in a very traditional manner. I had to sit on-site for far too long as numbers were worked out during my initial visit, which I would prefer to do via email or text. The trade value I was offered for my vehicle was half what I received from on online dealer and $1K less than another local Buick dealer offered me. This is particularly insulting, since I bought the vehicle from this dealership. I am very happy with my vehicle and the salesperson I worked with, but the dealership needs to update its practices in order to have a competitive buyer experience in todays market.

They checked almost every green box on the list but did not do everything they were expected to do. I checked my tire pressure before I left and it was way low so they obviously didnt do that. I talked to one of the techs that had been there for a while and he rechecked everything. Very upset with this service department. Have they done this every time I have come to get my oil changed? What else are they not doing? I know they didnt visually check my battery and battery cables even though it was marked off. You have to get under the floor board of the back to even look at the battery and they didnt move anything in the back so therefore neither one of the techs performed this check. I do not know if I will return to this dealership for anything anymore. Every time I go there is some sort of problem.

I had road damage to two tires. Ed Martin Buick GMC, specifically Micah and James took good care of me. The tires were no longer made and they found me great replacements at a great price along with identifying and fixing an alignment problem that I didnt know I had. My truck drives much better now.

I set an appointment for Wednesday morning but my car had not been looked at by end of day that Friday was told it wouldn’t be looked at until that Monday. I was unsure of the purpose of the appointment if that was the time my car was going to be seen.. I had to end up at another dealership and I was a little disappointed because if all you were going to do was baby sit my car my appointment should have been set for Monday. I also asked if there was a time that I actually brought my car in that it would be seen at that time but was told no and that is unacceptable and why I wouldn’t refer anyone no one can go weeks without their car. Paying for rides and have to pay to get car fixed? Does not make sense

Appt made on 09/17/2021 for car to be serviced on Friday, 09/24/21. Because I was dropping my car off the night before, my appt time was set for 7:01am on 09/24/2017. I wasn’t called until after 4:30pm on Friday to be told that they weren’t able to get to my car but I was ASSURED that my car would be ready on Saturday. Saturday came and went with no response to my call about when would my car would be ready. I had to go the entire weekend, paying ubers to get around. Monday comes and I’m called after 1:30pm, to be told the mechanic recommendations but couldn’t be told if what I had brought my car in for, had been fixed. He had to call me back which didn’t occur until 4:30. After expressing my issue calmly I was offered a $20 disc. I hung up. I called back and asked for the service dept manager and I got his voicemail. I left a lengthy message. His cowardly a$$ hasn’t called me back. So after not having my car for 96 hours w/no explanation, paying out over $100 for ubers and no apology, my compensation for my time and trouble was $20. And this isn’t a 1 off situation. This is the worst incident but every time I take my car to them, something is off. No matter how early my appt, I NEVER get my car back before 4:30 pm. Not only do I get my car back late despite early appts, I typically have to call them 1st. Once they didn’t fix the specific issue I brought the car in for. And on another occasion, I waited 45 minutes to have my car bought to me and because the time was in military time the service rep ASSumed I couldn’t read it and tried to insist I hadn’t been waiting that long. Meineke tried to charge me $700 dollars for a break job on a ‘84 chevette. Ed Martin Buick In Carmel is worst than them.

Overall, the service was excellent for the work I needed done, so Im not going to penalize the Service Department with any thing but a top score. My vehicle came back clean and fully serviced and appeared well-taken-care-of.Communications were only average, however. If I was to make any small suggestion it would be that questions/requests for information sent ahead of time have answers available at time of delivery (how hard would that be?) and that when Im told the appointment would be about an hour, that the actual appointment (during a work day) takes in the range of up to 65-75 min, vs 90 min or more. I never did get that text that said the work was done.

From Donnie who was never pushy, but always helpful, to Annie who coordinated my appointments (with many changes on my part) with kindness and grace, to Tyler who explained all that I need to finance the vehicle, It was a FANTASTIC EXPERIANCE ! There are so many things that I would like to say about each of the great people but I would run out of space. I live in Northern KY and drove 2 hours one way, 2 times to select my vehicle and would do it again. Thats how great these folks are. I was in my local dealership and not one gave me the impression that the cared about me as a customer. When I need another vehicle in the future Ed Martin is the only place Ill go. I do NOT recommend this dealership at all. They don’t care about you as a customer once you bought the car. I purchased a brand new Enclave on 5-12-21 and 6 days later I noticed the rocker panel was damaged. When I brought the vehicle in on 5-20, I worked with the sales manager. Pictures were taken and was told that it looked like the damage could have been from the transport carrier. He said he would let the salesman know and will give me a call. Did not hear back from sales manager or the salesman and then I followed up. After speaking with salesman on 6-2, he shared that he did not know anything and did not receive any pictures from the sales manager. I have dates and notes from all of the interactions with the individuals at the dealership. Finally on 7-2, I brought the vehicle back to get fixed and the final outcome was unsatisfactory. The damage was just painted over and not smoothed out. They don’t tell the truth, there’s no internal communication on their team and don’t return phone calls. I have never been treated this way and am very disappointed. The time that I have spent on follow up phone calls and finally speaking with the individuals at the dealership is time that I will not get back.

The service was very punctual and professional.The vehicle was due for an oil change and tire rotation so I brought it in. The price was great when you compared to local non dealership service. There is one caveat for bringing the vehicle in to the dealer. They let you know the maintenance status of the car. This will save you money by being preventative rather than reactive. The car got a clean bill of health and my wife can continue to use it with confidence. I know it makes her feel better that it was done at the dealer.

I bought my vehicle at Ed Martin and have only have it serviced at Ed Martin. I take it in for service and repairs frequently. Yesterday, I went to pick it up after getting a brake job and as they brought car to me, noticed front left headlight was out. The receipt shows they signed off on a visual inspection so questioned how they could miss a headlight out and since I was there, could I pay to have them put a new bulb in. Girl told me it must have just gone out when they brought car and I would need to make an appt to bring it back in to get a bulb. I told her since I was already there, couldnt I pay to just have someone put a bulb in, it would take all of 3 minutes. She said no, I either had to make another appt or I could wait an hour or more. This is unacceptable to treat a frequent customer this way and Ed Martin service apparently did not do a visual inspection prior to releasing car or they would have noticed the headlight was out and fixed it at that time. Not happy.

My wife and I felt she was absolutely rude and dismissive. Luckily, the assistant manager became aware of the situation and resolved it. She should definitely not be working with customers.

Scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 11:30am. When my wife arrived she was told the service department was overwhelmed and they would not be able to look at our vehicle. My wife had been in an accident and we needed the tow hook cover and wanted to see if there was any damage under the car that we should have repaired. She was told we could order the part online or to call the dealership on Monday. Talked with the service manager about this and we rescheduled the appointment for the following Wednesday. He said he would talk to the employee that this should not have happened. That he would order the part and that I would be taken back when the vehicle was on the lift to view the underside with the mechanic. Arrived at the dealership and was met by the same employee who turned my wife away and when I told her I was to go back when the car was on the lift she said that wouldnt be necessary since to see any damage they would have had to take the bumper off and they wouldnt be doing that so I wouldnt need to go back. I informed her that the service manager said I could view the underside while the vehicle was on the lift and I expected to do just that. She rolled her eyes and said again that it wouldnt be necessary for me to go back. After about an hour I looked into the service department to see my vehicle being backed out of the service area and into the delivery/drop-off area. After 20 minutes I asked to see the service manager. He came and I explained they did not come get me for me to see underneath and that the vehicle had been sitting in the drop-off area for 20 minutes and no one had come to say anything. He had the vehicle taken back into the service area and walked me out to look. The mechanic showed me one area that was bent slightly but neither he nor the service manager thought it warranted being repaired. When I received my copy of the bill I noticed after I got home they put on the second page that I refused to have it repaired. They told me it wasnt necessary, I did not refuse. Not very happy with the service and a little confused. The question is should it be repaired? Would like someone to respond to that question. J Paino

After dreadful experiences at a cadillac dealership, I took a chance at Ed Martin since it is close to my office. They were great! The value I received is more like my local mechanic than most dealerships that try to tack on additional, unwanted services.The staff is polite, quick, experienced, empathetic, professional, friendly and able to explain situations effectively. Added bonus is they provide shuttle rides. One of my fellow passengers needed a ride all the way out to Fishers, probably because the service is so good at Ed Martin, compared to other dealerships closer to her home.

They made me feel welcome, were extremely helpful and attentive, and made buying my new 2020 Terrain Denali the BEST retail buying experience I have ever had. On April 29th, while driving past Ed Martin GMC, that is less than half a mile from my residence, I noted a 2021 black, GMC Denali 2500 parked in the front, center parking lot next to Michigan road. I have been looking for a 2500 for several months and this one was perfect. A salesman quickly came by as I was standing next to the truck. These trucks have been selling for close to the retail price and I was ok with this. I advised the salesman that I would take the truck. We entered the front sales area and he took my information he needed to get the 82k truck financed minus my down payment. The salesman leaves and come back about 7 minutes later and says congrats you have excellent credit, unfortunately that truck is already sold . Standing in absolute dismay that a dealership would run my credit for a vehicle that they did not have to sell, I asked for the manager. The new car sales manager apologized and stated that he would find me a truck. He stated that he had a couple of Denalis that he could trade to another dealer and showed me two vehicles that would fit the parameter that I was looking for. He then stated that he would contact the dealers and get back to me as soon as he could. Im not surprised of poor customer service from the salesman with a manager like he has.

Schedule an oil change and filter replacement at 12 was told it would take about hour to complete my scheduled service did not get my car back until 4:30 which is unacceptable.

1. It took 3 days and four calls to get a quote.2. Repair work took 1 week longer then expected3. Repair price was much more costly then CarX and Miller Auto4. Ill likely not return for any other service, as even an oil change can take 2 hours.5. Having replace AC parts in less then 4 years, 40k miles has made me questions GM quality. Ive owned Ford for the last 20 years, typically needing minor repairs at over 100,00k (alternator, steering pump). This is the first GM vehicle Ive purchased and maybe the last.

Apparently the problem with my brakes is widely known. It took them 2 days to tell me GM is working on it. This defect should result in a recall. I am very disappointed in my new car. I do appreciate being given a loaner car.

After I honked and the overhead door opened it was all smooth sailing. Getting my brakes checked was the only issue (I thought), but the mechanic didn’t stop there. The entire suspension was checked and I was given detailed print outs with pricing; but I was only charged the brake inspection fee and no pressure for more work.Jon Zimmerman was courteous professional and thorough.

Called early yesterday am, was able to make same day appointment to replace flat tire....was in stock!, was told i could have transport if needed but elected to wait for a little over an hour (was told it might be up to 2 hours). Job completed efficiently and very satisfied.
