This location is never open during posted hours of operations. They close early and closed on Sundays. Be sure to call beforehand to see when theyll be open.

Had a dead battery. They went out of their way right before closing to help me get jumped and back on the road.

Store opened at 10, we got there at 1040. Doors locked when called we inquired if they were opened only to be told what can we help with no explanation as to why doors are locked. We then inquired again and was told they cant let people in the store we had to stay outside and could order from the phone if they had parts. Worst experience ever

Always seem to somewhat have what I need and I go in there a lot but the front staff at the counter is the most unfriendly staff I’ve ever seen . It’s like I’m messing up there day with my purchase. I know times are tough now but I would like to think they should be happy they at least have a job still . The younger kid and the older guy with darker hair are the worst!!! I go to OReilys now and they are very friendly

I was seriously disrespected by one of the employees. He literally ignored me until a fellow coworker waited on me although he wasnt busy and no one else was around. Not a good look for such a prestigious clientele and location but maybe I didnt qualify as either in his eyes. Such is the state of our world.

My family has been shopping at NAPA for multiple generations, and in the rural areas they are always the best in regards of customer service, and quality parts selection.Sadly the NAPA in Carmel falls short because the staff heredoesn’t have the auto knowledge that I have come to expect from NAPA employees. This location has all the parts, but you have to know the exact part, and part number you are looking for, or you will get the wrong part, or you stand there for 15-20 minutes waiting on them to look it up on the computer. All the other NAPA locations I’ve been to the employees have their parts inventory memorized, and test each other with parts trivia in their down time.The Carmel NAPA also has a tendency to close whenever they want to, and not the posted time, which is frustrating when you have weekend project, and have just enough time to get off of work and get to the store to get the part you need.I only go to this location to get my filters, if I know I can’t make to the Tipton NAPA (where my parents live, and I do most of my automotive up keep) during their posted operating hours.

I dont typically frequent this store but my normal autoparts store didnt care what I was needing. I called ahead and the staff was friendly. When I went into the store they remembered me from my call, and quickly had me ready to go. The cashier did make some jokes about do you frequently buy these and Im not sure if he was just trying to be funny because it was not a typical part or imply it strange that I, a woman, would be doing such auto work on my own. Either way, it was nothing sepcial to make my change them to my usual store, but if my store doesnt have what I need then I will be back.
