Larry at customer service was excellent to work with. He went out of his way to try to assist me with a pretty complicated issue. Although his store couldnt ultimately help he took the time to call ahead to another store to make sure they were ready for me when I got there. Excellent service!
Terrible company. I ordered windows to be installed. I was told over and over again they would look the same and be the same window (we have a strict HOA). They put in a different window and defaced the front of our home. The store says call the 3rd party, and the 3rd party refuses to follow through with a simple call back. We had to pay $2,055 upfront before even getting them installed, and no I know why. They will take your money and run. Dont make the same mistake I did. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Only 2 self check outs open and the lines were down the aisles. No other registers except one in garden center.Woman employee at garden center check out refused to get off her cell phone with her female friend (CALL WAS ON SPEAKER PHONE IN HER HAND) talking generic personal stuff while scanning my items. Wouldnt pick up larger items due to her hands were occupied with her cell phone and the scanner (and she clearly didnt want to break any of her super long fake nails).I called the store to give them a heads up about the inappropriate customer service and I was on a never ending hold for 30 mins to speak to someone. I gave up.
I am a DIYer and Im building a modern dining table from plywood. I was helped by Cliff in lumber and I must say he was sooooooooooooo helpful and very informative and patient with me. The experience I had with him makes me want to request him everything I come in for a project. He not onlt help me pick A nice piece of birth plywood but he gave me many tips and pointers on how to make my table very strong. He cut the wood into the correct pieces I needed. He helped me find the correct screws and claps as well for my project. This made me feel great. He gave me AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU GO TO TO THIS HOME DEPOT AND NEED LUMBER CUT AND SOME TIPS ON DOING IT THE RIGHT WAY LOOK FOR CLIFF HE IS THE BEST!!THANK YOUR SO MUCH CLIFF FOR YOUR HELP I WILL POST PICS OF THE TABLE WHEN I FINISH IT!! IM SO EXCITED TO DO THE TABLE!!
3rd party installers hinder the process for getting satisfactory service. No communication sharing and terrible customer response! KNOW your installer!

John in the appliance department gave fantastic service. I was purchasing a microwave and the box was damaged. John opened box to examine and make sure there was no damage. Helped me get it to my car and load. Hes old school it was over the top service that you dont see much of today. Thanks John!
I needed a specific lawn mower that they were suppose to have in stock but the entire supply pallet was missing. The manager gave me a better mower for the same price. Now thats customer service.

Placed order for a washer and dryer showing in stock at this location on 3/25/21, delivery postponed yet again into October. Over 6 months. HD refused to extend 6months same as cash until we made a stink about the situation. HD also would not work with us on finding an equivalent of some kind.My Opinion 1) Bait and Switch showing availability when they could not provide any product 2) Extremely poor customer service defaulting to not extending promotional credit for items they could not provide as well as not working with us to find a solution other then telling us we need to wait 7 or 8 months or more for delivery.Home Depot...What the Actual Hell?

I have to admit. When I go to the nearby more conveniently located big name hardware store they also have most of what I need for similar prices but help is hard to find. Home Depot always seems to have friendly knowledgeable nearby. It really makes a difference.No wandering through the store looking for a item I cant find. No having a simple question with no one to answer. I very much appreciate the help at my Home Depot.

Do not call Home Depot for heating and air conditioning. I had two appointments confirmed over two days and they never showed up for either one and never called. Lots of excuses and communicating through a Chicago office. Absolutely disgusted with them. Many phone calls later I just hung up and I’m starting over.

Decent hardware store overall. Some items are in odd locations but the online map makes it a bit easier to locate yet having to rely on this is not a preferable solution. Also several staff members seem to get away with wearing their masks under their chin inside the store.
Well, I work at home depot back home in iowa, and was in indiana for the weekend so I thought Id swing into this store see how it was. The inventory was impressive, but if Im honest the associates were not exactly observing the GET. My boyfriend and I were greeted once about 10mins into being in the store. The gentleman was friendly and helpful.(although I didnt catch his name.) But when approaching the appliances it was.... well only one person out of the 5 we saw said anything and it was basically just next week were having a sale... which I knew already and when I explained I was aware and thanked her she kinda walked away. I didnt intend to make her walk away I just wasnt gonna pretend to be clueless. Anyways Im not trying be difficult just helping raise awareness for the management teams. Anyhow. I just moved and am in desperate need of 3 major appliances. I happen to be going through some major health challenges, so I really needed help over the phone. I called and spoke with Jan Wingren who is a kitchen designer. He was AWESOME! Jan was extremely knowledgeable with the products, very professional, and very kind. He took the time to answer my questions and explain the differences in the products, and because I was having issues with Home Depot online, he even got them on a conference call with me and helped get my account fixed! Jan clearly has strong design skills, professional, executive managerial and exceptional customer service skills. It’s because he took the time to go above and beyond to help me that I ordered with Home Depot and didn’t order from a competitor. Home Depot, kudos on this employee! He’s great and I hope he gets some recognition for a job well done. It was so great to have had someone so knowledgeable, professional, and kind to help me. Thank you Jan Wingren! I’ll be shopping your Home Depot for the rest of my remodel.
Didnt have what I was looking for, even thou the website said they had it. None of the associates seemed to know how to help me. I understand not having it and the website being incorrect. But the associates not knowing how to help me was frustrating.

Its Home Depot. They have everything you need (and dont need) for any home improvement or DIY job. Just remember though, if you have questions it will take forever to get any resemblance of an answer. Still my favorite hardware store.
Wow! What rip off pricing! Highway robbery at its finest. Like...have you seen their so-called lumber department. The absolute worst!!!Everyone knows Lowes has really bad lumber. But somehowthey managed to be proclaimed the top winner in bad lumber. Not even fit to make toothpickswith.

The cashier Angela on the u-scan is rude & hateful to customers. I have trouble hearing sometimes and apparently she was in a rush or something because when I apologized for not hearing her she cut me off by yelling over me. She said THATS GREAT SIR NOW MOVE SO I CAN DO MY JOB I have never experienced anything like that at any store.
Called Lowes and the Garden Center never answered. Called Home Depot and they were extremely helpful. Told me what they had in stock and answered all of my questions.

All I wanted was to purchase a tool that was locked in a cage. Apparently theres only one individual at the store who can open the locked shelves and they were too busy. Wasted an hour of my life here.
This is a convenient location with pretty helpful staff. Smaller than a lot of Home Depots but generally find what I need here.

On 7/23/2020 my fiance and I stopped to pick up a 9 piece set of HUSKY tool cabinets and quickly discovered we REALLY shouldve just had it shipped to our home. We had a 10 x 5 trailer but getting the items on said trailer was a hairy situation. Martin and Melodie were a tremendous help getting us loaded up! We made it home and got it unloaded somewhat safely! 😅

Overall good experience. I visit the store 3 - 4 times a week and find what I need pretty quickly. I use the website to find the aisle and bin on the website. Prices are pretty competitive and I like their Milwaukee line of tools.

I went into Home depot looking for an over the range microwave. I found one that had a sticker saying in stock take me home today. When i told the associate i wanted to purchase it, she told me that they dont have any over the range microwaves for sale. When asked why they had the sticker stating they had it in store, she said it was a Home Depot requirement. Really Home Depot, why advertise what you dont have!!! This is the Home Depot on Michigan street and 99th street in Carmel, Indiana

Purchases a washer and dryer set in November of 2020. It was not delivered until January 12th due to a back order in which I was fine with.I went to do my first load of laundry and the washer was broken and could not finish the load.I immediately contacted the store where I was left on hold for 30 minutes and then disconnected. Called back and was transferred to a call center.I was told that a replacement could not be delivered until January 22nd. Not being satisfied with this date, I asked to speak to a supervisor. I was then hung up on. Called back, got a supervisor who said it is what it is. I asked to speak to her supervisor and was transferred to a LG rep. The rep was not filled in and I had to go through my story again. LG rep was just as rude as the Home Depot reps.I finally agreed to accept the 22nd delivery date as long as I had a morning delivery. I was told that would not be a problem.It’s the night of the 21st, the night before the delivery. I received a call saying my timeframe was 1-5pm.I called back to talk to a rep about an AM delivery and got the same it is what it is attitude and there was nothing that could be done.It has now been two months since I purchased my washer and I still am waiting for it.Home Depot has lost my business for appliances.
