I had been searching for months to find a new stylist. I finally decided on Jordan at Joule because of a review by someone with the same fine wavy hair who was very pleased with her cut. I am very happy with mine...I finally have a pixie that actually looks like the photo I showed Jordan. She asked lots of questions to be sure she knew what I wanted and checked with me as she cut to be sure. I really like the cut and so does my hubby. The pricing is in line with other salons and COVID restrictions are followed. The owner/manager was very pleasant as well and the salon was clean and tidy.

Lauren is a superstar. She is beyond talented. She listens closely, asks good questions, and then knows exactly what to do to meet the clients hair goals. I had recently had my hair done at a DIFFERENT salon, and I was super unhappy with the results. Had lost a ton of confidence in hair stylists. Then I saw Lauren. When I told her I was unhappy with my hair, she immediately understood the many things that were wrong. When telling her what I wanted, she listened to what I was saying, and it was clear she had already planned to do all the things I wanted because she is just that good and knew exactly what would look good on me. Throughout the process she worked with me, answering my many questions. The end product is spectacular. I couldnt be more happy, she did exactly what I had wanted from the beginning! Confidence restored :) Lauren is just one example of the many positive experiences I have had at Joule. They just have a great atmosphere there. They are very good at welcoming in their clients and making them feel at home. I have decided I am only ever going to Joule from now on, and hopefully I can stay with Lauren for as long as possible!

Alex is THE BEST at balayge! Its been a while since Ive had my hair done, but the color still looks amazing! She also showed me how damaging cheap shampoos/conditioners are, and hooked me up with a professional shampoo & conditioner, which has been awesome for my hair. The salon is beautiful and everyone is so nice! Highly recommend this Salon!

I had my first haircut at Joule salon yesterday and loved it! I have recently moved back to the Raleigh area and have been searching for a new hairdresser. Madison was great and knew exactly how I wanted my bangs and hair trimmed for a nice shape up.

Got a simple short bob, and was in and out in 30 minutes. The only thing that sucked is the stylist blow dryed my hair into a bubble so i looked like edma mode from the incredibles when I left. After I immediately rewashed it when I got home, it looked much better.

Very accommodating, my husband had Jordon and I had my haircut done by Madison. They were pleasant, listened to our needs and very professional. More than happy with my cut. Would recommend.

After moving from NY, I was hesitant on trying someone new to get my desired hair color from my deep, black hair. Alex is such a professional, and talks you through her steps, the process it takes and answers all questions before she even begins! I’ve gone about 4-5x and she’s been helping me keep my hair healthy and to get to my desired brunette level without ruining the health of my hair (which I care deeply about!) From the front desk to the stylist, Joule really has been an exceptional experience!

I just moved to Raleigh and was desperately in search for a new salon to go to. I have gotten 1-2 haircuts within the last few years and was in need for a change. I am new to the area and havent had my hair done professionally in about 2 years. I booked an appointment based off of the Google reviews and they were not wrong! Jordan was fantastic. Aside from making me feel comfortable instantly, she was intuitively a fantastic hair stylist. I have very fine, thin hair that I feel looks limp and lifeless all the time. I grew it out thinking I wanted long hair and was hating it. I showed her a few inspo pictures but admitted that I wasnt sure what I really wanted. I am very adventurous when it comes to my hair so I told her she could do anything she wanted. I ended up with a long bob with some layers and really cute fringe and my hair looks and feels healthier than ever. And did I mention the startlingly affordable price for my cut?I already pre-booked my next appointment with her for October - COLOR this time, and I literally cant wait!The salon itself was clean, chic, and everyone in there was super friendly. 10/10 would recommend again.

I had the most plesant experience here about a week or so ago. Isabella was my hair dresser and did a color fix, darker color pull through, and cut on my hair. She was kind, professional, and made me feel right at home. She also gave me a lot of great advice on ways to take care of my hair and recommend some products that have NOTICEABLY helped my hair a lot. I have received a lot of compliments on my hair since, especially the day I got it done the way she styled it made my hair shiny and glow- definitely a confidence booster. Thank you Isabella for make me not regret my impulsive decision of going darker!! 10/10 Experience over all, the salon was also great and clean itself- all staff following COVID protocols, made me feel safe. I had the best experience at joule salon during my few hair cuts. My cosmetologist was Lera Cline and she was the best person I’ve ever had cutting my hair. Her personally makes the entire session so much more enjoyable. She is funny, professional, and of course really good at her job!

I had an appointment with Alex for a cut and color for the first time today. I am so happy that I decided to check out this salon!First of all......I felt incredibly comfortable due to how clean the salon is, the fact that they check your temperature on entry, require you to use hand sanitizer and that everyone was wearing their mask properly.Secondly, everyone was very friendly and professional.Thirdly....I got a fantastic cut and color with Alex. I absolutely love this salon! I’ve been to many salons in Cary (including Trinity right down the street) and Joule does the best job by far. Most recently, I had my hair done with Meredith. I’m picky about my color and wanted a very specific shade of red. She did a great job and it came out just like the photo I brought in! I’m no longer a local but will still continue to visit Joule salon whenever I am in town.

Im not used to a salon or spending more than $40 for a cut/color. I figured Id give it a shot though. Im happy I did. Teressa spent a lot of time looking at/playing with my hair and helping me choose a color. I was told shes a perfectionist and she is. I finally left a place FEELING pretty. People can compliment a person, but unless they feel it, it means nothing. I still feel stunning a week later. Im not a confident person a lot, but knowing that she took her time to make me look and feel my best made me feel better about myself. Even the owner came over to help out and I felt so at ease, which I havent felt before at any hair place. But this isnt a normal hair place. I will happily and definitely return!!

I love Joule Salon. This was my first visit and I was pleasantly surprised. Pricing is super reasonable for the quality of service. I paid $48 for wash, cut, and style. Everyone was very friendly including Lauren my master hairstylist. They even asked me if I want something to drink. Lauren carefully listened what I wanted and while cutting my hair she asked additional questions about the length she should cut. She even showed me how to curl my hair to get the look I wanted. The result is amazing. I have a super stylish medium length angled bob. Thanks Lauren, I will be back!!!

I have had other people cut my hair there too, and they have always done exactly what I wanted. Its affordable and I always feel like Im getting more than Im paying for. I came here because my usual hair stylist canceled on me at the last minute. I’m glad they were able to squeeze me in. Kelly and Lara worked on my hair together. I was nervous because I have super curly, course hair and most people aren’t accustomed to working with my hair type.Lara and Kelly did a great job. All I got done was a wash and flat iron. The salon of itself was nice, but I think it’s a little expensive. My usual hair girl runs her own salon inside a Sola and her prices are a little bit more reasonable, but I can’t complain too much. It was a good salon for my emergency last minute appointment.

Came here to get some bangs, I showed Lauren a picture of what I wanted and she gave me exactly that. She took her time and made sure the bangs fit my face all around. Not only that, but the price was very reasonable, it took me by surprise as most places charge alot more!! I am extremely happy & love the new look! Will be back for future hair needs.

After moving to Cary, I tried several salons in the area, and for one reason or another kept moving on. Once I found Joule, several years ago, I have found MY salon and have been consistently happy there. Kelly is a master at her craft. Lisa, the owner, is so welcoming, and has a gift for hiring the best people. I just love this salon, and the compliments I get on my hair!

Sam (Samantha) cut my hair today and when I left the salon I was very happy with the way my bangs were cut perfectly, the sides were prettily layered, and it looked sleek. Later at home, I saw my hair in my 3-way mirror and was awestruck by how beautifully it was shaped in the back and the fabulous way it looked from every angle. Very impressed!

She not only nailed a great haircut (I gave her freedom to do whatever) but she also did a great job with stylinging. She didnt over do me or load my hair with a bunch of products either. Great job. My husband just got home from getting a haircut and its the worst haircut hes had in years.He chose this salon because it was one of the few places in the area that was open past 7PM and had good reviews. It could be there is a big discrepancy between the evening shift people and the daytime people, but the hairdresser (he thinks her name was Meredith) who cut his hair totally botched it. And its so short theres not fixing it until it grows out some.

She was super great in the consult and asked me questions that I had not even thought about to make sure she could give me exactly what I wanted. I think the coloring looked very natural. She is great with conversation and super friendly. Alex made me fall in love with my hair again after not having it cut or colored for over a year! Lauren did an excellent job with my daughters hair and they have a teen special for only $25! I was skeptical about the quality with a price like that but they exceeded my expectations! Guila is a great cosmetologist ...hands down! I wish HER all the success! The issue I have is the prices : they seem to go up each time I visit the salon and I find the owner a little too ZEALOUS of monitoring every move at the register upon check out...she will go out of her way if she sees one at check out to move to the register and look over the services entirely making sure all is entered. I find it a lack of integrity towards the employees entering the services and just rude to take over. She has done that the last 3 times upon my check out and I find it very unattractive. I respect that a business is being ran but this is a little too overkill for me and my tolerance and comfort zone.

I moved here from New Jersey to North Carolina 2 years ago and finding a great hairdresser for my hair is very tough considering I have thick coarse long hair. Im glad I finally found an awesome place. I had Alex Phillips and I will forever go to her as long as I live in North Carolina. Alex Phillips is not most hairdressers. She spent 20 minutes listening and giving me advise as what to do with my hair! She did a partial balayage and I couldnt be more happy with my hair. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff are really great as well!! Im very happy I found this place and I can not wait to go back!

Beware! Total rip-off!! Alex did my baylayage, and the majority of my hair was bronze!! She wasn’t even looking at my head while she slopped the dye on, obviously making my hair spotty. Alex quoted me $160, and said that any additional dye was $10, but that she would ask me first. At checkout time she said she got extra dye 4 times, and charged me $200!!! Never asked me once, my hair looked (had to go fix it) like a bronze, at-home, highlight worth $20. Save your money.
