I highly recommend Indus Fashion. I had a wonderful experience my first time shopping for a traditional Indian dress for a wedding. The service was excellent. I found a beautiful dress at a reasonable price.Thank you
I really enjoyed my shopping experience! Very beautiful clothes and friendly service😍
Indus Fashions is a fantastic boutique for Indian formal wear and casual wear. My husband and I were recently invited to an Indian Wedding Reception that suggested Indian Formal Party attire. I was so lucky to find Indus Fashions and a lovely woman named Shabana. As soon as I walked in to the shop, I was struck by the beauty, quality and fine selection of ensembles displayed. Shabana quickly put me at ease with her warm welcome and smile. She also put me at ease when I explained my concerns about choosing something that was figure flattering and appropriate for any customs I might not be familiar with. Shabana had no problem pulling at least 7 outfits for me to try in a variety of styles and colors. This gave me a chance to really choose rather than settle on something given my size is large or extra large. Compared to other places I had been, the clothing had finer fabric, embroidery, and size selection. Working with Shabana, I felt like I was on TLCs Yes to the Dress...she really helped find the one outfit that fit me so well, flattered my figure, skin color and felt like it was my dress made for me...that feeling of feeling more pretty, more beautiful and more confident came over me. It was truly Yes to the Dress customer service and experience. Attentive, personal, aimed at making the customer look and feel their best in fine clothing at a reasonable price. Thank you so much Shabana and Indus Fashions, we will be back for my husbands formal wear and my daughters Valentines dress.
I needed a couple of pieces altered on a tight and hard deadline and decided to bring them here based on a recommendation. I had a mans regular-fit kurta that I needed tailored to a slim fit and a womans kameez that I needed altered from a medium to size small. The owner, who does the alterations, is extremely knowledgable and gave a lot of suggestions on how to alter the clothes in a way that wouldnt ruin the beauty. She got the alterations done on time and they were perfection! Her prices are extremely reasonable - a great value for the quality of work. Im currently gathering more clothes to take to her. Her work is SO good. The store is a little overstuffed and chaotic with merchandise, which is why Im giving this four instead of five star. However, the service and quality of tailoring is a full five stars!
The lady here was soooo nice! She stayed late for my little procrastinator hubby who waited until the night before our friends wedding to buy an Indian suit. It looked AMAZING on my American hubby!!! He looked like a prince. She even tailored his pants that night in 5 minutes. She was so patient with us, and so nice to stay late for our pain in the butt selves. She had lots of beautiful outfits but I had already bought mine.
There are not even enough stars for our experience!! Absolutely the kindest, most patient shopping experience we’ve ever encountered! I wish we had more occasions to shop here all the time! Just lovely!
Its difficult to say enough GOOD things about this quaint little shop. As youve already read in the other reviews, Indus Fashions has WONDERFUL customer service, an AMAZING selection of ethnic clothing and accessories from various countries, and an EXPERT tailor who can make any alterations depending upon your needs and the occasion. So, if you are looking for authentic, trendy, and good-quality clothing, whether its for a formal occasion (i.e., wedding, Eid) or a casual outing, then you MUST visit Indus Fashions. I was in need of a last-minute wedding outfit and the owner helped me pick out a BEAUTIFUL sari AND she altered it for me in less than 24 hours. All I have to say is, I am SO thankful that this shop is around, and if you go visit, you too will be thankful.
Beautiful Indian and Middle Eastern style clothing and jewelry! Colorful variety with and without embellishments. Very reasonable prices. Excellent service with extremely personable and kind staff. What a great deal!
Fantastic experience! I was completely clueless about what to wear to an upcoming wedding, and Ms. Sahbana provided amazing customer service and was exceptionally kind! I would recommend this store to anyone looking for Indian fashion!
Very lovely experience. The owner was helpful and answered my endless questions. The selection was somewhat limited but that said the items varied enough I found several I purchased.
***Great Customer Service! Latest trends and designs! Very reasonable prices!***Indus Fashions has an amazing collection of Pakistani and Indian clothing ranging from simple, every-day wear to fancy, wedding outfits. We have visited this store quite a few times in the past couple of months, and the owners/staff are always eager and very patient in helping us. Professional tailoring and alterations are also offered, and the finished work is very clean and given in a timely manner. We look forward to continue shopping here in the near future. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Indus Fashions and appreciate their friendly service!
I just got married roughly 2 weeks ago and all my guests loved the my attire that was done by Indus Fashions. These guys are absolutely professional, friendly, and had excellent communication with me at all times. I highly recommend them to anyone and should you have questions - I am more than happy to answer them !!!
Very professional, courteous, & friendly staff! The owners worked with my whole family to help find Indian & Pakistani fashions for a same-night function. It was amazing how they could help fit clothes for various sizes (including a large selection for plus-size shapes), find the right colors, offer suggestions, & more. Very attentive to each individual while staying in contact with all other customers, even when we just walked in! They even did henna tattoos for us!Great experience & will definitely be back for the next function! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Indus Fashions (Cary, NC) to anyone - they work with all nationalities/races, economic budgets, time frames, & more!
Very friendly and helpful! I came in needing a new sari to be stitched for a wedding I was attending in a few days and she was able to prioritize and get it done for me quickly!
Best prices and very good quality clothing store. Super customer service.
Fantastic shopping experience! Rini was extremely helpful. Great variety of clothing, jewelry and accessories!
Got a dress made there. The store owners and the tailor Ms. Sahbana were very helpful. They offered helpful advice and delivered the dress on time.
Wonderful Customer Service and beautifully made Indian clothing at a reasonable price ! Highly recommended.
My wife and I went to Indus with desperation only having one week to get the perfect gown for an event. We had high expectations and limited time. Farooq and Saher at Indus created the perfect custom outfit with time to spare. The warmth, kindness, professionalism and quality of this store is unmatched. The prices are definitely reasonable. They made themselves available to us via email and phone which made the entire process of getting the perfect design much easier. They both took extra time to treat us as family. In the end, we were given a high quality designer custom gown that exceeded our high expectations and still had time to spare before our event. I will honestly say that I will not go anywhere else to get outfits made. I recommend it to everyone I know.
First time visit and I dont think so well be ever coming back. The woman is rude and horrible and unreasonable.Too rude.
Very sweet and helpful owner and staff.
Beautiful outfits and wonderfully helpful owners. I always used to come to Indus Fashions just to admire the designs and wish I could wear one of them for a formal event, I didnt imagine I could own one for myself. Although I had never owned or worn a saree, I decided to wear one to prom and the lovely owners helped me pick out a fabric and sewed it to fit me perfectly. They also helped me pick out jewlery and taught me how to move in it and offered suggestions for hair as well. Now you might be thinking that with a tailored saree and expert styling advice it must have cost a fortune, but no! It was super affordable. I spent less than any of my friends on a prom outfit and got so many compliments. I will be back!
Too nasty, and disgusting attitude. Shes mean and horrible.
I visited Indus Fashions boutique in preparation for a wedding of my bestfriend. I was not familiar with Indian garments and clothing styles and I was extemely grateful for the service provided at Indus Fashions. I spent 2 hours searching through Sarees for just the right color combination. I returned a week later for my blouse fitting and then a few days after that for the skirt/belt fitting. The quality and selection of clothing was great. I highly recommend Indus Fashions to anyone looking for casual or special occasion clothing. There service was excellent and prices very reasonable.
Done some alterations, and never had a problem here!
Very nice staff!
Really great experience shopping for an Indian outfit for my roomate who is 67. Really great selection and an awsome experience shopping. Really helpful and freindly.
My nephew gave me a saree he bought in India a couple of years ago, and I wanted to wear it for a gala but could NOT figure out how to wrap it correctly. Luckily, my friend Janet discovered Indus Fashions during a trip to Cary (we live in Wilmington). Saher, the owner, was incredibly kind and friendly, and the store carries beautiful clothes at all different price points. Janet bought a gorgeous saree, and Saher altered both our sarees so they were easy to wear and looked fantastic - Ive never had so many compliments about an outfit! I plan to return to get some more casual salwars to wear this summer. I would highly recommend Indus Fashions to anyone who appreciates beautiful clothes with original designs.
So heres the reasoning behind the 5 stars:*Service- So its not even a stereotype Im pushing- there have been many south Asian stores Ive been to in the triangle area. I have not made purchases at all of them even though I intended to. The main reason is service. Many times I walk in and people are yapping away on the telephone and can not put the other party on hold as they at least greet me- let alone help me. (I really hope some of the other area shop owners read this!) Im one of those people who grew up in the states but was born in South Asia and desperately (but most times cluelessly) attempts to keep my background as part of my life via beauty services (i.e. threading), jewelry (i.e. glass bangles, intricate cuffs, unique necklaces), food (i.e. halal meats, traditional desserts), and clothes (lehnga/saree, shalwar/kameeze).There have been so many times Ive just given up and worn American dresses to my cousins traditional weddings because I just couldnt find anyone to help me at area stores. Im just not South Asian savvy so Im always very clear when I walk in somewhere that I need help- I have no clue what Im doing. This is what I did when I walked into Indus Fashion for the first time a few weeks ago. As soon as they realized I need help they got off the phone and gave me an educational run down of whats what in South Asian style. Not only that but they have unstiched outfits that they can sew based on your measurements (which was super awesome for me because Im 59 with broad shoulders, a small waist, and wide hips whereas most South Asian suits are made for women who are 52 and petite in every way). Plus my mom is extra tiny so I sent her there as well. There is nothing quite like wearing something made for you. Their seamstress is almost magical. She is very thorough with her measurements and was very knowledgeable throughout the initial process. We even added some more fun embellishments based on current fashion (dangling jewels, ribbon).*Price- You cant put a price on service which is why I discussed it first. I paid $300 for two fancy wedding quality shalwar/kameeze stitched to my measurements & specifications with lining and shawl. A place nearby was selling outfits already stitched (not to your measurements) for $249 an outfit.*Follow Through- I have to be honest- I was scared leaving a shop paying $300 and leaving without any clothes. That takes a lot of trust- and what I am saying to you is- I fully trust this team. My outfits were ready in less than 2 weeks. They called me and let me know they were ready. This is the step where you go in and try on your outfits and make sure everything is awesome in terms of fit. If something is off- this is when they will make alterations if necessary. Most likely they will fit like a glove and youll be on your way with your new clothes and bragging to your friends or on Facebook or yelp ;-)If I had to give you one additional tip- it would be to ask if you buy 2 outfits they can cut you a deal. Its probably the politest way to go about it.
The Best shopping experience in my life !!
Very friendly customer service
