WARNING: Do NOT print anything here that you do not want read over and scrutinized by the workers. I won’t be back ever. It’s not the Office Depot worker’s job to decide whether or not he agrees with what I’m printing. If you want the long version: It was a mask exemption form for my CHILD. The worker (Mark) demanded to see my “medical exemption card” twice while reading the document over and over. So I asked if I needed to pay to print the public health order for him to get the prints I already paid for - he ended up printing my pages and then slid them towards me on the counter from a distance instead of just handing them to me. 👍
Angel, in the print center, has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. She is helpful, efficient, and extremely knowledgeable. I am a teacher, so a trip into Office Depot is a regular part of my routine, and she makes a mundane errand such a pleasure!
It is tough finding a dependable printing team in this area. Audry, Angel and Ally have really been the best to work with and have taken excellent care of me. Very grateful to be working with these women!!!!!!
Printing here is a hassle. They have different “policies” than every other location in Denver. Charged a surcharge to print right away, though I was the only customer in the store. If you have Mark ask for someone else.
Review edited: I bought a Lenovo computer at office depot. Day 2 of bringing it home the screen blacked out and started doing this glitching thing. I thought maybe it was a fluke because I was running Adobe illustrator and zoom for school at the same time. Several days passed and it continued doing the same thing while I was on Microsoft word and while doing mild internet browsing. It took several weeks to discover it was a lemon computer and not the programs I was running. I had already talked with the managers before the 14 day return policy was up, to potentially return the computer. I had a huge headache when finally attempting to return my computer to get my money back. I initially gave a terrible review along with 1 star because the store manager would not take back the computer and hold me to go through the manufacturer warranty. After making a huge stink on FB and contacting corporate office, Office Depot finally decided to take back the computer and give me my money back. Corporate sent me an apology, a $50 gift card and returned my money. Therefore I have changed my review to 3 stars.Corporate was very understanding and helpful. However, I thought I was stuck with a lemon computer for the last month in a half. As a full time student, this was a huge headache because I lost hours and hours of work when the computer would start glitching. When I contacted the manufacturer- Lenovo- also gave me a run around. They took weeks to respond and wanted me to drop off the computer to have it serviced. They said this would take another couple weeks. Again, as a full time student, currently using the computer every day for school was a huge burden and headache. One of the worst experiences Ive had. I also couldnt afford a new computer. So when Office Depot finally took back the computer this was a huge relief. But again a terrible process and headache trying to get the refund. I spent hours and hours going into the store, emailing and talking to random people on the phone. I could care less for the $50 gift card Office Depot gave me. Id rather just not have experienced this at all. But at least they eventually made things right and tried in the end. As it goes for Lenovo and manufacturers warrantties- terrible customer service. I will never buy Lenovo again. Computer was a lemon and they will give you the wildest run around and not your money back. In addition, I highly suggest for anyone buying a computer to buy fro. Someone with a return policy that is longer than 14 days like office depot is. Sometimes it takes several weeks to figure out the software is bad. I highly suggest buying computers with at least a 30 day return policy
Does anyone working here care about customer service here? I came in to get three 16x20 prints, fairly straight forward. The woman running the printer was absolutely rude to not only us but the person she had to speak with on the phone. She was dismissive to everything anyone said, rarely made eye contact, trash talked to her coworkers about the woman on the phone that hung up on her (I would’ve hung up too), and then gave me the wrong size prints. I’ve made the decision to eat the $5 and never go back to this store. Being kind and civil is simple and could’ve made this experience a world different.
The staff was helpful and not too pushy
I would love to give Mark, Lila, and Maesyn a huge compliment. I went to go look for a new printer scanner fax and I needed it in a hurry. However I did not just want to get one without being thoughtful. I had so many questions.. Mark came to assist and genuinely gave me a lot of his time with a happy heart. It took awhile because of the difficulties with things not being shipped for to covid but I found the perfect one and I really would not have left with so much confidence if God didnt guide me to these great and helpful people. Lila was so sweet to my kids and Maesyn did a great job checking me out. What a good place with good people. Thanks guys... You made my evening that night. To management: youre have the best men and women on your staff! Give them some recognition for me😆😃
I have done three projects in the past few months with Office Depot and not one of them has either been delivered on time or without significant errors. The first project would not have been done on time if I had not shown up and stood there while it was done. Even as I stood there, it was riddled with errors like being out of order. The second project was printed incorrectly. When I showed the clerk that it was not what I sent in, his response was “well, that is how it printed”. Those two events were merely the appetizer to the horrible experience the past 24 hours. I sent a project into the Parker store. I called in at noon the following day to see when I could expect it being done (despite receiving an email that it would be done by 7 PM that night, I knew better not to follow up with them). On that call, I was informed that there binding machine was broken. I asked if they could send the project to the Castle Rock store. I then called the Castle Rock store an hour later and they had not received it. I had to work with them to find the order in their system and get it moved to their store. I then called twice more to confirm it would be done. When I arrived at 7 to pick up the project, the lady informed me that they had several other reprints and their printers needed to be updated, so the project would not be completed that night. They also could not offer a refund. I guess at Office Depot, being late, having equipment that doesn’t work, and poor communication is par for the course. Luckily, I left and immediately went to FedEx Office and they completed the project that night for me on short notice. Please take this small business owners advice….if you want a project late or wrong, use Office Depot, they are great at that. If you want it right and on time, please use FedEx Office.
Excellent service and knowledge. The representative spent probably 20 minutes with me helping me decide on the right printer for my needs. I will come back based on my sales persons service. Very nice job! Thank you.
Mixed Bag. Pleasant, clean atmosphere. Employees seemed nice and polite, but a totally unorganized operation. They had the exact 2 items I needed, plus an impulse buy. 2 registers open, and a growing line at the checkout, one line bc we werent clear about the process and talked about it. There is apparently a checkout behind those too that we thought was a service counter until another customer alerted the 1st person in line that that one was open. I was next, standing in the middle of these 3 register areas. Several employees walked right between us, plus the cashiers. 2 more customers walk up, one excuses himself to pass me as I start to move towards the one finishing first, but then turns and walks right up to the register just opening up, that was supposed to be mine and gets taken care of. Meanwhile, another customer who didnt know the situation walks up to the one behind me and gets taken care of. Im still standing in line. Probably 5 employees watched this unfold, only ONE at the front register even acknowledged that I existed, NONE bothered to instruct even a single customer on how the line should be, or to point out that I had been waiting and was before BOTH other customers that walked up. Their disorganization and careless attitude towards their customers made me decide to put my products down and walk away. Only the nice cashier even noticed. My money will go elsewhere.
For the most part, this place is great. Every once in a while the person behind the printing area is grumpy, but thats retail life. I get a decent amount of things printed and Ive only ever had one major issue. I enjoy shopping here.
Very poor service! A lot of items out of stock or they do not carry it anymore. That happens to me the last three visits! Also not able to price match their older model laptop with a newer model which was less expensive than their older model (both 17 inch HP Laptops).I strongly believe you will have better luck to shop at Walmart next door!I strongly recommend to avoid this Office Depot location.
Waited 30 minutes to check out. Manager looked at me and went into the office.
The service in this place is hit or miss and I’m usually there for some time just to get a couple things printed. This 5 star review goes to one person and not my other experiences there.... Yesterday I went in again to get a couple mailing labels printed from a email I sent them a couple hrs prior. The associate was by herself taking care of 3 of us. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a person multitask better than her. Every time she walked by one of us she did something for us making sure no one just stood there waiting for assistance. She was outstanding and I doubt she’s making what she should be. She is a valuable associate and I hope she sees this review. Thank you Danielle for your unbelievable customer service!
Everything is good...til you get to the register...have half a day reserved to shop here. Consistently bad.
Print department is terrible. Do not count on them for your business needs. I guess thats what happens when you buy out your competition, you can suck yet remain in business.
Great and friendly service, they always answer phone calls, always provide good information and make it easy to get printing jobs done. Very often I didnt even need to wait for my printing job, or they would take it by email for me.
I just walked in on a Sunday and asked for a print job to be done. Tyler went the extra effort and got it done though he was busy. Very personable and gave great service.
Mark in the print department really stepped up and helped me with my project. AAA service
Very neat and clean. Easy to find everything. Extremely helpful staff.
I do not know the young ladys name but she is always very helpful and friendly. I am in there weekly and appreciate her attentive assistance.
Steven in the photo/print area is AWESOME!! I only like to work with him. He gets the job done the first time! I am always happy with the quality of product I get from this store!
Good selections and friendly helpful staff.
Went in to get a few sheets of paper laminated yesterday. Guy behind the counter said itd be done by 5pm last night, which is reasoable.Went back this morning to pick it up and the guy behind the counter announces that it isnt scheduled to be done until 11/19. I dont even know how thats possible. Its a simple lamination job that shouldnt take more than 30 minutes, including set up and put away! He should have recognized that was ridiculous, but instead didnt offer reasonable help at all.Ill take my business anywhere else.
Takes way too long for them to do a small print job.
Steven helped me with a print job and was amazingly helpful! Thank you so much!
I use to be a big fan but, this store has gone down hill. No other options in Castle Rock. Poor leadership. Seem to be unmotivated.
Great help. Stocks seemed a little shy
Usually has what I need in office supplies
Great office supply store, and Great customer service!
Office max two guys working. Worse service. Would not help me. Finally ordered what I needed on my phone with Amazon and had it the next day.PLEASE TEACH YOUR PEOPLE HOW TO Use THE APP ON SMART PHONE FOR YOUR COMPANY. We were not trained is not an acceptable answer under anyones watch. Amazon will be the last one standing if you all dont get your people back up and providing services with a HUGE SMILE. OTHERWISE WE DONT NEED TO LEA
Its an office store, has what you would expect. My experience was that the employees were pretty unmotivated. This is in regards to what looked like the shift supervisor.
Im not a big fan. The staff is not helpful and their prices are high compared to all the other box stores. I never seem to be able to find what I need.
I had a printer that quit working, no receipt or nothing. The manager hooked me up. I did act like a jerk for a minute. But Deanne the manager has made a long time customer out of me. Thank you very much maam.
Excellent, quick service in the print/copy department
They were very helpful with exchanging my Christmas gift that I didnt have a receipt for.
Worst. Experience. Ever.I use This OfficeDepot and the nearby OfficeMax frequently for my business and spend a pretty healthy sum each year at each location. I get reasonably good customer service most of the time, but I was absolutely shocked at the treatment I received in my most recent dealings with Amanda - the Asst Mgr at this location. I received possibly the worst customer service Ive experienced in over a decade - anywhere! I get the sense that this Mgr only works nights, and hates getting any last minute requests that may delay her closing the store. I showed up at 8:40pm this past week with the slim hope of getting some large prints produced for a presentation early the next morning. I was desperate, but I was prepared to hear that all of the print shop staff had gone and I would be out of luck. Instead, I got Amanda. Amanda felt the best way to push me off was to bark at me that there was NO WAY they could print something that late and I should have called ahead, besides, ...it takes the printer at least 15 minutes to warm up. So, based on what I was just told, I decided I would challenge her thinking by pointing out that there was still 20 minutes left until they closed. I also pointed out that, as a customer, how was I supposed to know that the printing services they offer wouldnt be available from open to close? There was no signage stating that fact, and I didnt know why I should need to call ahead. Amanda went on a bit of a tirade at this point. Her tone changed and she became visibly upset with me. I watched as she began storming around back and forth behind the counter - from computer to printer and back again - I believe attempting to show me how flustered all of these technology gizmos made her, and to help illustrate that I was asking for something that pushed her WAAAY outside of the scope of what she was hired to do, (which I now firmly believe is to prevent customers from spending money in her store). It was a HUGE production - she was spewing a constant diatribe of frustration ranging from her not knowing how to operate any of the equipment to deriding management for not doing their job by staffing the print shop until close.Ive worked with printers in the past, and knowing that large format printers rarely need to warm up for 15 minutes, I was finally compelled to interrupt her one-woman show and ask if I could go back and do her job for her, (figuring I know how to print to a printer). At this point she literally told me Im getting ready to ask you to leave my store sir. Yep. That happened.Lo and behold, Amanda suddenly figured out how to print two files to the printer, and finished with minutes to spare before close. I asked for her Managers name and I think she may have figured out that my company spends a small fortune with the OfficeDepot/OfficeMax family, because the next play in her playbook was to tell me that she was giving me all of the prints for free because she didnt know how to charge me for them. I was way past insulted at this point and told her I was not leaving without paying and having a receipt in my hand in preparation for my discussion with her management. She then told me that I made her uncomfortable and she felt threatened by me and she would be talking to HER manager about ME. Did I mention she did all of this in front of my 14-year old daughter who had accompanied me to the store, and was shooting me wide-eyed glances the entire time we were witness to this meltdown? In the end, it took another several minutes for Amanda to ...figure out how much to charge... me, I paid, and was out the door at 9:02pm. On my way out I saw another poor soul with a last minute need have the glass doors closed and locked on him, and as I passed I heard Amanda from behind me summon up her best customer service skills with a curt Were closed!.
It is always hot in this store!! The employees are not around when needed.
Good service. Sending a fax, very expensive.
OVER PRICED SMALL SELECTION. Seriously Amazon can do better
Didnt have what I need, but it was pretty specific. Staff wasnt very helpful.
Long line, but good servrce
Needed lamination service. The young lady who assisted me is a real credit to the Office Depot in Castle Rock, CO
Theyll probably have the connector you need, but it wont be cheap
Omg!! 2 people working in the whole store! They lost my on line order! This place is horrible! They have NO idea what they are doing here!!!!
Good business but to expensive for my taste.
Lots of good help
Its office depot. Hit and miss for sales and prices.
Worst costumer service I have ever had
Gets the job done, but employees are lazy and slow
Great
