I was thrilled when I originally called Weber Paper Company & the gal told me that they carried biodegradable packing peanuts, so I ordered them. I was so happy that I’d be able to start buying these locally now. Upon picking them up, they were definitely not biodegradable, but regular styrofoam peanuts. No big deal. It was disappointing that I was told they carried biodegradable packing peanuts but that wasn’t what got me to write this review. When I brought them back (we won’t use these as our entire company’s mission is minimal to zero waste) they questioned me as to having opened & used them to the point that the lady asked her fellow employee “we don’t pack these with a metal closures, do we?” They made me feel terrible about the whole situation when they sold me something they said was something else. The lady said, well, they’re landfill approved, that is not at all what biodegradable means, but bottom line it was how they treated me & made me feel as opposed the product sold.
