I love shopping at JC Penney I tell my friend and family about all the time....

Couldnt find what we needed nor could we find anyone to assist us. It wasnt even a busy day. Very disappointing.

We had a great experience at this store in Cedar Hill,The Customer Service was great

There was racks with clothes on the floor while 2 sales ladies were standing talking. One had merchandise at her feet and the area in which they were standing, was dirty. I walked around the store 3 times and was not greeted nor asked if I needed help by anyone. The two young women talking did not even look up once. The store had an empty feel and much could have been done if the people working there was more attentive.

I did the curbside pick up and had a good experience. The pick up area is located by the mens department. Once you get there, you open your app or the email confirmation that was sent to you. You tell the app/email what spot you are parked in and the color of your car and a associate will bring out your order! Simple! I will definitely use curbside again 😊

Good experience! I assisted myself and didn’t need much help as I started the shopping online and simply visited the store for proper fitting.The cashiers could benefit from being more pleasant or perhaps working at a place that they would enjoy verses working at a store that they like to shop at. Other than that - I love my heels 💕

Great sales poor quality and variety of big and tall

One of my favorite places to shop, although they are inconsistent with the curbside pick up process. Some days they provide the best service; on others not so much. But I love the products, and I do consider the adjustments theyve made this year, so hopefully the process will get better with time.

Am usually able to find good deals for myself and son.Bought the boots before Black Friday started online for $20 each. Went today to pick them up. Easy ordering..had to wait in line a bit but not so bad.

This particular JCPENNEY inventory was found wanting. Slim pickings. Lingerie department was well stocked but the department itself was a little messy

Literally called saying I was gonna be 15 mins late and due to that they had to cancel. Rescheduled the next day and had me waiting for 30 mins because they were still in session smh. I should have just came when I was running late.

No one 4 days in a row to help in drapes. Prices were not correct in front of products. Bought 6 exact same items and three came up 3 different prices

Although JC Penney is struggling to keep its Doors open, it is still my place to find nice dress clothes, as well as casual clothing. I miss the old JC Penney that had a massive selection, but it still has great clothes.

No one is around to answer questions, too few people to ring up customers purchases. We found something we wanted to buy but we got discouraged by long line...8 or10 groups of people with their hands full of purchases This was about 5: 30 pm Sat nite Feb 6. Get some help! Need to get checked out faster!

I was able to get in and out of this JCPenny. It wasnt too crowded and this store now opens any 11am.

SLOW SLOW SLOW!!! Even with one area open for check out, they only have 2 cashiers and one just walked away. Seems the older tha cashiers the more rude they are.

10/17/20I waited in line to pay for the merchandise that I was going to purchase ( a pair of earrings,and some sport shoes) (over $200.00 worth ) after waiting in a long line I finally made it to the cashier, then he told me that he could not help me because he did not have the tool to remove the anti theft sensor that was on the shoes that I was buying. This man could have helped me. He could have called someone to bring him the tool he needed.I left his counter and went to another, and the line was very long there too so, I left my merchandise on a display. That service was unacceptable and you lost a sale. You need more cashiers & the device to remove shoes in all checkouts, or at least hire someone with enough common sense to call for help!

Jcpenny was great but I dont like the fact that theyve shut down all of the checkout counters. I went to pick up an order and they only have 1 counter for orders, checkout, returns and so on. The line for this option was as long as a Christmas list and the counter only had 3 cashiers. This option will surely send me elsewhere.

They offer curbside but when you get there they tell you to go in and get your package. The line is long and they do everything in this one line, check out, package pickup, and returns. This takes forever and your wait time is long. Not too happy with this setup.

I liked it because I found everything I was looking for except panties and bras. In bras they didnt have my size and the type of panties I saw were just not what I was going for. Change all of this and youve got one heck of a store.

Store is missing items, shelves are bare. Customer service pushes JC PENNEYS CREDIT CARD! She mentioned it 3 times after I told her I was not in need of credit! I used my NFCU card for all purchases. Be careful of over extending on credit.

Worst customer service! No one wants to help and take accountability. If you ask any associate for help, it’s as if you’re bothering them like it’s not their job. Why work at retail if you can’t help people to find what they’re looking for. Also don’t expect to use the one fitting room if you get there an hour before it closes, even though it’s empty during the week! I’ll be taking my dollars somewhere else JCPenny!

I was just at this location, and was told before purchasing any items that the entire store was 25% for Black Friday and that if I downloaded the the JCPenny app I would receive a coupon for an addition 30% off. When I was in the check out line the employee Maria was very rude and hostile when she told me that my 30% off coupon would not apply to ANY of the items I grabbed, and when I asked her to go into detail about why it would not apply she got very aggressive when speaking to me, as if I was suppose to know on my own why the coupon would not apply. I simply asked because I just wanted to understand because I referred friends to this store because of the discounts. However, because of what happened today ME OR MY FRIENDS/FAMILY will NOT be shopping with JCPenny anymore. Disappointed...

Horrible curbside service, had to come inside and get my curbside order and still had to wait in the same line as people paying for their purchases. Never again this is what I get for coming to a closer location. 20 people ahead of me ridiculous.

I placed my order before 3 p.m like it stated prior completing my order, I didnt received my confirmation to pick up my order therefore I went to store to follow up with my order. When I called them from the curbside pickup parking lot they said they didnt have an order for me. I went inside to see what was the issue with my order and the ladies at the register werent able to help me. I ended up canceling my order due to them not having the items I ordered. I understand they are trying to do the curbside for a faster and saver service, however they need to have more accurate inventory in their website. Horrible service I give this store 1 star.

Never had so many issues with picking up an online order. After receiving confirmation emails to pick up items, store employees at the Cedar Hill location couldnt find them, promised to call me when items were available...never called. I was forced to call customer service 3 times on 3 different ocassions just to get my order in increments. Incompetent and unorganized. My items were there all along. Wont send to their store again.

I placed an order online on May 1st, I didnt know that they use vendors for jewelry items. I have called several times to get the status on my order and each time I received a different response about my order. Then the Rep was telling me I couldnt cancel my order, it was a nightmare.This was my first time ordering with JCPenny online and definitely my last. In the future I will NEVER order again!

Good sales every week, take advantage of it!

Upon entering I was greeted, and directed to the section I was looking for. I appreciated the fact that they have a husky section, my 8yr old has put on some summer pounds. It wasnt stocked well so I couldnt find much in my sons size, and there was no one in the childrens department near enough to help. However, I am considering its back to school time and clothes are scarce everywhere, cant wait to give it another try, there they had some good sales.

I just had to give a shout out to Crystal the assistant manager of this location! She had the hustle the bustle the customer service the genuine essence the holiday love, caring, and concerns! The employees were friendly but the store had no air conditioning.

Customer service associates seem to always be angry. No smiles except one older woman, I prefer to wait in line for her.

Quality merchandise sold by accommodating people. JCPenney has been in my life for...ever. It is a tradition. My mother used to take us there, I took my kids there, and I still go there. The quality has stood the test of time. I always know that Penneys is there when I need them. The sales staff is friendly and helpful. The store is always clean, and they maintain a large variety of goods that provide, almost, a one stop shop for all your home and clothing needs.

Placed an order on the 4th that was supposed to be ready for pickup between the 11th-14th. Never got an email saying it was ready. Called the store no answer. Called customer service and was told my order had been there for 5 days but not scanned. Went to the store and was told it was not there. Called customer service again and got a tracking number. Went BACK to the store and gave them the number. Come to find out my order was there all along sitting on a table waiting to be scanned. I see why this place is going out of business.
