The staff is nice, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr Diaz is amazing. He is patient and will explain clearly every step of the way so you understand what is being done. He answers questions clearly. Highly recommended this place!

The doctor is amazing and so was the lady who initially helped me but I just went in to pay for my glasses and they had a person in front of me so I left to shop then canes back.. during the time while I was waiting someone came out from the back the doc seen me and said they will be right with me after someone walked in ... when the lady finished she went to help the other two people I let her know I’ve been waiting I’m just there to make a quick payment she continued to ignore me and help the next person ... I am not sure why she was refusing to take my payment but it’s really frustrating

Emily and Mariah have been the greatest to work with every time I go in there. They are professional and know how to treat the customer! This will be the only place to get my glasses!! Thank you ladies.

Amazing service and they make sure to give you the best pair of glasses. I’ve been to Costco optical before and can whole heartedly say that Target optical will go above and beyond for you. The staff, especially Sam, will make sure you leave a very satisfied guest

The eye doctor here is pretty awesome.. but they will not check your pupillary distance and will not put that on you prescription.. this is very inconvenient for anyone who trys to order online!! Now I have to go back in after just leaving this location. Not something I wanted to do.

Awesome selection and awesome people. I went in this past weekend to have my glasses adjusted and Brian was awesome. He listened to what was going on and helped get them to fit comfortably without falling down my nose. Decided to go back to this Target Optical vs the one I have used in the past to get my new prescription sunglasses. Brian was again extremely helpful! Definitely recommend!

Dr. Diaz and Sam were amazing to work with. Even though the office was busy, they both took the time to ensure that I felt comfortable and appreciated. Dr. Diaz answered all of my questions and never once seemed bothered or annoyed with my multiple requests to show me the filters a second time. Sam was engaging and personable and treated not only myself, but every customer that walked in, like they were the most important and would be tended to quickly. While working with me, she gave her fullest attention and maintained a friendly personality even though the office was short a staff member and was very busy with walk ins.This was by far the best eye exam and fitting for glasses I’ve ever experienced and by far exceeded what I expected. I will definitely be back and recommend this office to everyone I know.

This is my 3rd year with them. Everybody is very friendly, helpful, and patient. I never have any problems with my prescription glasses. I have referred my parents and friends here, and they all satisfy with their experience!

Target Optical in Chandler offered me the best deals for my money. Emily was really helpful when I had to reschedule my appointment and even offered me an appointment on the weekend. The staff was unbelievably helpful and was out to save me the most money. Dr. Gish was insightful on the results of the eye exam and he was more than willing to answer any questions. Thank you for such great service!

They dont even answer phone and finally did after calling several times but hung up. Not sure its worth even 4 stars. Wanted to ask about glasses in looking for petite hard time find. 49/18/135 but would like 130 if any comes that size

Like several other reviews, my complaint is not with the doctor, but with the scheduling and front office manager. My husbands first appointment was fine - he was given one pair of contacts and asked to come back in a few weeks to order his contacts after ensuring he had the right prescription. Because this location is not close to where we live he asked if we could go in to a different Target Optical location to order them & was told no (we later found out this is not true, but I understand youre trying to meet your own quotas). So, we made an appointment to come in and get the contacts ordered - something that should not have taken more than a few minutes. An hour and a half later, we were still waiting to be helped. At this point it was getting late and we needed to get our child home, so we asked to just have the prescription printed so that we could order the contacts online. The front manager told us, If you go online you wont be able to use your insurance - youll have to order them through us. Since youve been here for so long waiting (with an appointment!) I will call you tomorrow when Im in. Next day - no call. My husband called at least 5-6 times throughout the day trying to reach someone to order his contacts, and never got an answer on the phone or a call back to his messages. We wont EVER be back to this location - extremely poor service, appointments mean nothing, and you will NEVER get a call back from anyone.

Great staff unfortunately I paid $350 for nice Oakley prescription sunglasses that the lenses fall out of. No problem we will reorder them. The new lenses wrong size and color. No problem we will reorder them a month later, we lost the order we will reorder them. I hope by the time my year warranty expires I get the glasses. Very poor customer experience.Lots of time and money wasted on these nice Oakley glasses.

Awesome staff!! Lots of frame selection! Dr. Diaz and Dr. Yates are awesome! You can tell this place really cares. Super busy place so make sure to be patient! This not a fast food place it’s your eyes people!!

I was at Target Optical a couple of weeks ago. I usually go to the Costco, but they do not accept my insurance. I have to say I was presently surprised. I have been going to Optical Centers for over 30 years of my life and have never been educated about my eyes more than I was at Target Optical. Dr. Diaz and is staff were truly amazing and gave me insight as to why my eyes were getting tired while reading which has allowed me to resolve the situation. I think I have found a new eye doctor.

I would definitely recommend the optical department. I received an eye exam and was fitted for contacts last week. The staff and doctor took great care and extra time to serve me and make sure I was properly assisted. I will return to this location in the future!

Not only is Dr. Diaz thorough, he is also very knowledgeable and informative. The staff, especially Brian and Emily, was awesome and made my 9 year old daughter feel very special and beautiful in her first pair of glasses. I have recommended to everyone I know that needs vision care to go see the crew at Chandler Target Optical, they are awesome. Hands down the best experience that I have ever had with vision care.

Poor customer service. Reviewed over the phone what insurance I had, and they said it was accepted there. Show up for the appointment and am told that it was not. The person who was assisting me said that they knew it was not.

We went there over a year ago . I wanted to just buy the clear lens frames because I do not wear glasses yet and do not need them, the doctor convinced me to do an eye exam which was more $$ for him . I said no a few times and then after enough convincing I did it . They filled my expensive frames witht the prescription . They hurt my head . I cannot wear them on a regular basis, I called and they told me it would be almost $200 to get the clear no prescription lenses put back in !!!! That is so ridiculous . Now I have an expensive pair of glasses just sitting here unable to be worn because it gives me severe headaches . All due to the staff besides the woman who did the computer stuff . I will never go back and I still want my lenses switched out but I guess that won’t happen ! Do not go here ! I do not recommend

Brian had AMAZING customer service from the phone to in-person! Very personable and super attentive to everyone in the store. He was a one-man ninja working the front of the house while the super knowledgeable and kind Dr. Diaz helped my husband and I see a little bit more clearer! We left with smiles and Im adding this review to our insurance intra-site because the experience was truly caring! Thanks guys!

The new optometrist there is nice, but he got my prescription completely wrong. The contacts they gave me are blurry and I can see way better without them. Back to my old glasses for now. Yes, I tried switching the right and left lenses. I will be going somewhere else because this provider was out of network for me, so I wasted time and money. I told him the contacts were really blurry when I was there, but he said I just needed to adjust to them. Nope, they are just the wrong prescription. Really frustrating.

Doctor Diaz is amazing, thorough, and friendly! Same day appointments, appointments in the evening and on the weekends! Great staff and awesome selection!

I was a walk in as someone dropped out of the last appointment of the day and they fit me into the schedule instead of just calling it a day. Dr. Diaz was very knowledgeable and didnt make it feel like a burden at all even after a long day. Emily was a fantastic assistant and laid out all the numbers along with her two cents of what she has seen as a bargain. Definitely a better place to go than any Lenscrafters or Visionworks I have been to before.
