Few hobby stores still have models, so it was a relief to find this place. Even more so as the guy working there was friendly and helpful, something that sadly is rare in hobby communities. Only downside is that they didn’t have much of a selection but the guy was apologetic and stated it was due to COVID.I will definitely be back the next time I have the itch to do more models.

Not much here unless your into models or D&D lol didnt have what I needed, let alone know much about it. Limited on other supplies as well. Made the drive across town to HobbyAction instead!

I have a Camaro and that is the worst car ever I got it as a gift and I was wondering could you fix my car please but I have tried multiple times I couldnt fix it but I tried calling RadioShack but they only do parts.

The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to purchase some hard to find parts for my vintage RC car.

Super nice staff. Went in looking for model trains which are listed on the description but no longer carried. Large selection of R/C parts, and plastic models - will be back!

I stopped in the other day looking for a TX. The gentleman that greeted me told me they did not sell them then he also explains why they did not sell them, I was looking for a specific China brand. Some people mistake honesty for rudeness when in actuality his honesty was true and spot-on the TX I was looking for does not have the customer support that a hobbyist would expect from a reputable company he did offer to sell me one of his but Im kind of partial to what I use. Five stars is deserved the shop is clean the gentleman was honest and the service that he did provide was what a hobbyist would expect.

These guys are awesome. They know everything about RC cars model cars and games. Theyve helped me with replacement parts so that I didnt need to order and wait two or three weeks these guys are great.

This place is great. I come in alot and everytime Jason has helped me with all my questions. He took the time to help me fix both trucks. I will keep coming back.

For whatever reason this was never my first stop for hobby supplies. I have been here twice and each time I have found everything and more that I needed. The staff has never guided me wrong and seemed knowledgeable. They were happy and nice too. Needless to say, this will now be my first and hopefully the only stop for my hobby needs.

Small town hobby shop. Ive been going here for awhile and while they may have great prices, open up and talk to the owner or the other guys that work there. Theyre friendly, knowledgeable and get you what you need; not just what costs the most.

Buy local! These guys know their stuff, and they stock some really neat hobby toys and gifts.

Great hobby store with plenty of knowledgeable and friendly staff to help with your hobby needs. Just be sure to know what your asking for so you dont get the newb treatment. It is an R.C. and scale model hobby store. If you are in there looking for your special 5 year old snowflakes present you are in the wrong place both price and experience wise. If you are a semi knowledgeable model enthusiast with some basic understanding of building models and ask intelligent questions this is the right place for you. If you want a drone because its popular go to the mall and get a little triple-A powered mini so you dont hurt anyone seriously. These hobbies cost hundreds or thousands and take experience, patience, and usually require a license or membership to ensure that you know what you are doing.

Now THIS is a hobby shop. Hobby Lobby is just like a giant Michaels (arts and crafts) compared to Hobby Destination. I have an RC thats 20 yrs old and they had the parts, now I can rebuild it! Love the staff, very helpful, and will order items for you if they can. Their prices on rockets are comparable to Hobby Lobby, and there is more of a selection. Definitely go to Hobby Destination for some real fun

Best place ever! Jason helped our family get started in RC.... He is very knowledgeable, and he was awesome helping my 10yr old son with all his questions and other things. One of the best customer service Ive seen in a long time. ..its good to see that especially with all the big stores everywhere that Dont have that great one on one like you have here. We moved in from out of town, so we did not know where to go for a hobby shop. We found these guys through an online search and did not know what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised with how knowledgeable and helpful their staff was. Their prices are incredibly fair and we will not hesitate making Hobby Destination or LHS of choice.

This place is not very big but they do have quality hobby items. I usually get their car models which are of great quality, which is good because they are a little pricey.The staff is kind and helpful. They have some 40K kits and offer Saturday 40K games (they update their Facebook for dates and times)

I started going to this place when they first opened. Its nice to have a hobby shop close by that is fair priced and stocks a little of everything. They have almost something for every hobby. games, trains, planes, rock crawlers, and supplies. Owner is cool and honest. For a small place they cater to a lot of peoples interests

Ive been here a couple times. The first time there wasnt an employee to be found. No one greeted me or asked if I needed help. The second time I was searching for a specific game. The employee said he could order it for me but it could take a week to get here. I really didnt want to wait that long and when I said no and I will just go elsewhere, he was rude. I continued to look around but there wasnt a very big selection. Im better off going to Game Depot from now on.

I love this place! Its like Cheers if Cheers was a hobby store instead of a bar. Because, you know, sometimes you just want to go where everybody knows your name...But thats beside the point... You see, Im more a tabletop gamer than a model plane or R/C guy (all quality items which the store carries in spades)... but Hobby Destinations collection of tabletop games impressed the heck out of me! For a modest size location, they have more titles than some exclusive tabletop game sores Ive visited.Keep up the good work guys!

HD has a great selection of parts, games, and I especially like the Magic the Gathering selection. This is my go to shop for hobbies and gifts.The owner and employees really know their stuff and are glad to help. I guess you could say there is a passion more-so than just a job.

I had a great first experience. The store has a good selection of hobby board games in the front of the store and other hobbyist items at the back. The staff was quite friendly and I will certainly be returning.

Jason and the other staff are great. My son and I recently got into R/C trucks and decided we wanted to start racing. Jason spent over an hour with us explaining the different upgrades and how to install them. He also showed us how to use our new battery charger with LIPO and NiMH batteries. Great place.

Im looking to get into the RC car hobby so I stopped in Hobby Destination to check out cars. Guy at the counter was unhelpful and not friendly at all when I asked about a particular car. On my way out I said, Have a good day. He looked at me but said nothing. Went to another store who had very friendly employees who took the time to answer questions and ended up pre-ordering a new e-revo from them. $550 they could have had.

Nice guys, not super knowledgeable on rc crawlers but usually have some cool stuff.

One of the employees did not know much at all in the field I was inquiring about. Finally someone from the back table helped him find what I was looking for. It would have been cheaper to order online and pay for expidited shipping. Not going to return unless they have some mind blowing sale on nitro stuff. Next shop

The staff and owner went out of their way with my purchase. I had ordered a phantom quad-copter on Saturday, knowing the supplier wouldnt be open until Monday. The supplier messed up the order but the staff at Destination Hobby came thru. They drove across town and had it for me at 2:30 Monday afternoon. Well Done. I will definitely return.

Lacking customer service, no one greeted us or offered to help just sat there looking at his phone. When I had a few questions about hobby items I was met with alienating sarcastic comments. This is not a quality hobby shop, look else where for your RC and hobby needs.

Staff was very friendly and more than willing to help me identify the things i would need to finish the models i purchased. encouraged me to participate in their upcoming competition and even told me a funny story. anytime im nearby i would go and buy something just to support their buisness.

This store is half an hour from my house and we finally drove in just to get a gift card for a Christmas gift, and they told us they do not offer gift cards. Very disappointed and shocked that a business with a store front would not have that option! Thats unheard of! Please add gift cards! Not that well be back anyway though.

Im going to start ordering my parts online from now on .....this place and as well as all the others in the area have become so overpriced .....for example ...a LECTRON 3s 3000mah lipo battery ..purchased 7 months ago at another Hobby store nearby ..was 31.99 new ...today at Hobby Destination the same Battery is $64 ....so yeah...Im done with buying anything from this store if at all possible
