The facility is always clean and well maintained. Equipment like dollies or carts are always readily available for renters to use. Allen was incredibly helpful in my move-out process, and helped me finalize the process totally remotely. The facility is well lit, provides carts for moving items in and out, and move in and move out were a breeze. Storage space this close to town isnt cheap, but at least at this location you get good service, a great facility, and convenient location!

So I needed a storage place to store staging furniture. This place is in a convenient location for us. The staff was very friendly the facility is amazingly clean. They showed us several unit sizes to choose from which was nice to be able to get eyes on the space to make sure we got the right size for our needs.They have climate controlled storage which we wanted. And the operating hours fit perfectly.The doors are access code controlled and they indicated that if you have a lot to move at one time they can keep them open for you while you move your stuff and then lock them after (since you have to put your code in each time you open the door that is a time saver).The rental rates are month to month and were in the range expected for a facility like this. A well maintained facility with very competent staff.

Rob was so helpful. He helped me locate my unit on the third floor, identify the closest elevator, set up the lock and showed me how to use the key pad to enter the interior of the building. He was so patient and kind. Superior customer service is hard to find today. It’s obvious that Rob cares about his customers and strives to do an outstanding job.

Clean and easy to work with. Provided carts are a huge help for moving items. Hours are a little limiting though since access to your unit ends at 10 pm.

This place is great! Only 6 minutes from Souther Village and so easy. We were given detailed information prior to our arrival. There are large carts in the lobby and the place is immaculate. Our belongings seem very safe which brings me comfort because so much of what we’ve stored are our childhood memories.

I reserved online and received a prompt call confirming my reservation (and month free!) and asking when it would be convenient for me to stop in - which wouldnt be until the following week. The space is air conditioned, clean, well-lit, and feels very secure. I looked around at other storage facilities in the area and this was the nicest by far! Would definitely recommend!

I booked on line prior to my dates needed. Very easy. No credit card info needed to reserve. Received a very prompt follow up call followed by an email reminder of my upcoming reservation. The day before I was contacted to see what time I expected to arrive so they would be ready for my arrival! Once I arrived I was grated by the whole team! I had such a great experience renting storage at Extra Space. The staff made the process very quick and simple. And the building and units are spotless and easy to access. I’ve rented storage space in many places over the years and this is the best, by far.

Extra Space Storage is a great place to store your things even for just a couple of days. I only had to pay $24 for just the fee and since I didn’t need it for weeks or months I was able to cancel the monthly payments as soon as I was done using it. It is a very clean and well kept place. It was very secure so I didn’t have to worry about my stuff being stolen. The cheapest insurance is only $11 and it covers up to $2,000. I was very blessed to have found this place in such a hurry and transfer my things from UNC to this storage unit until I was able to move in my dorm. I highly recommend using Extra Space Storage.

This is my first experience in renting a storage unit and I could not be more pleased with the customer service, the unit itself, and the ease in the renting process. The pricing practice is dishonest and annoying. I was told to pay around $50 a month for tiny place and then without any notice the price keeps going up. No one sent me any notice and no one bothered to explain... now is $92 after 2 years... i guess they are holding my stuff hostage and demand a ransom... i am out.

Buyer beware!!!!!! This is a bait and switch storage facility. They will jack your rates way up after they get your business. In addition they require you to have their insurance.Its not cheaper you might think youre going to save some money but youre not just go somewhere else literally anywhere else.Update:After leaving this review months ago and being one of the first to realize their mistake I see other reviews that match mine... Bait and switch, they bring you in at a low rate and slowly raise the rate every few months until you are paying twice what you originally agreed to.This facility is new and yes its going to be a little nicer simply because its new, dont fool yourself, they arent nice people, they are a two faced money hungry cooperation. Choose a mom and pop storage of you want GOOD SERVICE.So many facilities to choose from, pick anyone else!I find it funny that with all these 5 star ratings they have received recently none of the reviewers have previous reviewing experience.
