I got a big crack in my windshield from a rock on the interstate and the insurance company set up an appointment for several days later with another company. I called Charleston Auto Glass instead and spoke to John and he was able to book me an appointment for the next morning and save me several days of waiting, in addition to accepting my insurance. The windshield needed to be replaced immediately due to safety concerns. I arrived for my appointment a few minutes early and Adam and Chris replaced the windshield in less than an hour. Chris was extremely helpful, completing the installation in less than 40 minutes and providing a detailed explanation of things I should avoid to ensure my newly installed windshield was protected.

Adam & Chris did an amazing job! Wednesday morning I discovered my back glass was busted in. I called my insurance and the earliest they could schedule me was Monday. Adam and Chris got it done before lunch today (Thursday the day after). It looks great! And they even pointed out some things I may need to see a mechanic for replacements just because with glass it’s a little different. I will be using them again to do my front windshield later on but for right now the emergency back glass was emergent.

Y’all this place is amazing. I had a chip in my windshield that spread, made an appointment and they came to my house, changed in driveway. So easy. Unfortunately there seemed to be some air noise, not only did Adam come to my work to check it out, they got new clips for under my hood to make sure it wasn’t noise from that AND replaced the windshield. They will do it right and are so professional. I felt annoying calling them back but wow, they saved me a head ache. I almost let it go but worried if water would leak I’d have to replace it later anyway, even went to an auto body shop first to make sure it was nothing else, called auto glass and he made me feel at ease. Seek no further.

I did like the service as to scheduling and timely work. The work was effectively completed. however later I noticed a lot of black glue/solvent on my car body. Small detail to improve on but I would still recommend them.

Called their mobile team to replace my Jeeps windshield after a nasty rock had hit it.They directed me through making the insurance claim (windshields are free if you have full coverage auto insurance in SC), and i had a next-day appointment scheduled after a quick 5-minute phone call.The next morning, the install team got to my apartment in North Charleston on time, and even called and texted ahead of time to let me know they were close. Super friendly too 👍Total install time was less than 20 minutes! Talk about fast 😎Its been a week and the glass is perfect. I cant say how much I appreciate the team at Charleston Auto Glass. I have spoken to 4 different companies & none were as helpful & informative than this one. Everyone else said the vehicle must have the camera re-calibrated after replacement. This would have cost between $300-$500 EXTRA. John & I spoke & he explained clearly why it was not needed. This shows me that he runs his company ethically and is not out here trying to rip people off. John got me scheduled for the very next day, as well! Tony was our technician and he also reiterated everything John had explained to me about the windshield / camera. He was at my location on time and completed the job in less than an hour. My only complaint which is minor is after the work was done my car was dirty where it had rained and mud was in my car but other than that I would definitely recommend their service you won’t be disappointed.

Third time using this fantastic local provider for a replacement windshield.You’ll deal with the owner John directly and he’s been in the insurance industry for 40 plus years. Called my insurance company for a bad rock chip that split all the way across the glass at 3pm yesterday and got the run-around on approval being 24-48 hrs to have My windshield replaced.Called John since he recently helped with my wife’s vehicle and he said I’ll call you right back; and he did, with the lead adjuster on the line conferenced in. John got the approval verified and Appt scheduled within 5 minutes and by 10am today I had a brand new windshield installed at my office.From start to finish his professionalism and genuine empathy for his clients is why I will only and always use and refer John and Charleston Auto Glass.
