4 star rating because they keep closing often at 5:30pm not sure why and because the store is a little messy but other than that I like and appreciate the kind customer service

This place rocks! Connie, the manager is super nice and helpful. She shows everyone respect and is morr than willing to offer a hand. Such positive energy at this location. So many items to choose from at ok prices, because the truth is, some of the items here I know I can find some where else much cheaper. However, the difference was not too extravagant though. Great place to find pretty much anything, from frozen items to pet and auto supplies. Almost like a one stop shop. I gave this specific location 5 stars because the customer service i recieved from ALL associates at the time of shopping, left mewith a good feeling leaving there. And if you follow my reviews, #ayterrell, then you know im all about great customer service, and I found that here. :-) BTW, they are hiring also!

Excellent customer service! She was awesome enough to go check the back for my item willingly! She greeted us all as we entered and was helpful. The gentleman was pleasant also.

Hard location to access with traffic om busy Cosgrove but store was stocked and dressed front up right, and speedy checkout

They have been very well stocked on a lot of very scarce items. Also they have great ice packs to prep for the heat thats coming this summer at a very low price. And I love shopping for baby items here. The lady who checked me out was very polite as well. Great value and awesome service!

Staff was courteous and efficient. The place was also well stocked and clean. The bathrooms were clean and stocked.

This is a great place to shop for everyday items that you may need especially if you are on a budget.

Its a busy time of the holiday season. Store wasnt as neat due the to holiday shopping. Customer service seems to be alright.

The place was very disorganized. Many shelves and pegs were bare. Some of the aisles were partially blocked by baskets left with items inside. An alarm of some sort was going off in the store which did not phase either employee. I was shocked and saddened to see the Northbridge location in such a disarray. I could not find anything for which I went looking. I will go to a different store and pray it is better, because I know not all stores are equal.

The staff is great and I always find what Im looking for, some things Im not..🙃

This Dollar General Store location on Old Towne Road in West Ashley is a great place to shop for all of the essential items that you need in your life at a really good value. I like to combine a visit here with a grocery store next to it and we are all set for everything. I have had a good shopping experience every time I have been here and the staff here is pleasant to deal with. This is one of the good Dollar General locations.

Great place to go.Litle unorganized but I realize they are short staffed

They have great prices and very friendly staff. If they would clean the iles do I could go down them it would be perfect.

The store looks like a warzone, boxes everywhere including the middle of the aisles. I don’t understand how they haven’t recieved a fine or been shut down. Connie is who I’m assuming is the store manager always seems too caught up in talking about her personal life or having a bad attitude to do anything about the mess. This place has really gone down in the past few years. The cashiers are always really friendly though, thats about the only good thing I can say about this place. Needs new management because what they have is not working!

Quick service. Need more stockers to clear and stock to empty boxes . Polite cashier.Friendly and polite manager.

Has things you need at a good price

The sale sign was still on a few items, and the cash reg. did not automatically pull them up, but the cashier, manually adjusted the prices to reflect the sale signage. well done !

About 10:21 my friends were standing in line when a older gentleman came in and wanted change for a 5, not only did she refuse him but the look she gave him said it all! Since when is it illegal to make change when the register was open making a cash sell anyways! She needs to be FIRED! Rude and racist! Do better Dollar General!

It is always a pleasure to take my Saturday or Sunday walk to the Dollar General the staff is pleasant and very helpful, its always worth the trip.

This Store looked like a Bomb hit it, this Store looks Aweful, Im Shocked at the appearance of this store. You cant find anything because barely nothing is in the store, What a shame on management, that person needs to be FIRED.

What a quality spot. Nothing is too overpriced and undercuts pretty much everywhere else. They had a larger variety than I expected too!

The place is always nasty. Things all over the floor the shelves are a mess. It looks like a bomb went off in the store. Most of the employees are real nice but they never are working on the store stocking or cleaning.

Cheap prices and great products

The store was disgusting per usual. As an outside representative i attempted to do a job there today, but was told with much head bobbing and finger wagging that i must do DG employees job that THEY are paid for, as well. I was refused the store managers name(because they werent wearing their name tags), and Ive tried calling for several hours now to obtain her and her destrict managers name but employees refuse to answer the phone. If they treat their clients this way, i would hate to see how they treat customers.
